Qian Wei is arrogant and possessive of his standing. Already the school's strongest student before awakening his divine ability, he dismisses Lin Feng as merely fortunate and envies his more powerful Battle Body Divine Ability. He considers Lin Feng undeserving of an Essence-Augmenting Pill that he himself has never received 37.

He relies on intimidation and his uncle's influence to get his way. When Lin Feng refuses his demand, Qian Wei decides to cripple him, believing the school will not punish him over a fallen genius. Public humiliation drives him into a murderous rage; only after Lin Feng immobilizes his saber does his confidence give way to fear 38 39.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Attempt to Seize the Essence-Augmenting Pill

Li Lin informs Qian Wei that Huang Wei has rewarded Lin Feng with an Essence-Augmenting Pill. Resenting the reward, Qian Wei accepts his uncle's suggestion to take it for himself. He expects the pill to raise his cultivation to the Qi Sea Third Layer 36 37.

Qian Wei intercepts Lin Feng at the school gates and initially frames his demand as borrowing the pill. When Lin Feng mocks him, he openly orders him to hand it over under threat of death. His imposing presence has no effect on Lin Feng 37.

Defeat at the School Gates

Qian Wei attacks with the intention of crippling Lin Feng in one move, but a single slap sends him sprawling. Enraged by the humiliation, he draws his saber and attempts to kill Lin Feng 38.

Lin Feng blocks his saber barehanded and slaps him away again. Qian Wei then activates Skin Hardening and renews his attack, only for Lin Feng to crush his saber Qi and hold the blade immobile. A final slap knocks him unconscious in midair 39.

The defeat ruins Li Lin's plan to undermine Huang Wei through Qian Wei's victory, costing him his bargaining chip in the contest for vice principal 40.
