Background / History

Bibi Dong was Spirit Hall’s Saintess before becoming Pope. She fell in love with Yu Xiaogang while young and contemplated leaving Spirit Hall with him. Qian Xunji discovered her intentions and sexually assaulted her; Qian Renxue was born afterward. Xiao Yu’s reconstruction of these events places Bibi Dong’s initial relationship with Yu Xiaogang around the age of eighteen or nineteen 138 161.

After Tang Hao gravely wounded Qian Xunji, Bibi Dong took the opportunity to kill him herself and devour his angel bloodline. Consequently, she privately regarded Tang Hao as having enabled her revenge, despite maintaining the public appearance of hostility toward him and his son 138 195.

Her combat experience included hundreds of killings in the City of Slaughter, where she became a Slaughter God. She later demonstrated the ability to switch between her two martial souls without interruption 82.

Bibi Dong reacts to Nine Stars Academy’s rise as a threat to both her team and her political position. Qian Daoliu refuses Worship Hall support for action against Nine Stars Hall and warns her not to undermine Qian Renxue’s partnership 99.

She nevertheless dispatches five loyal Titled Douluo against Xiao Yu, using Tang San as the publicly stated target. The interception fails, further exposing the division between Pope’s Hall and Worship Hall 138 144.

After Qian Renxue retaliates through an assault on Yu Xiaogang, Bibi Dong orders Nine Stars Academy matched against strong opponents in every round to expose its abilities. During the finals, she also draws Ning Fengzhi’s attention to Ye Lingling’s Soul Power restoration, encouraging suspicion of a rival support martial soul 147 176.

Following Nine Stars Academy’s victory, she offers Xiao Yu the future position of Pope if he brings Nine Stars Hall into Spirit Hall. On the return journey, she instead appears with Azure Luan and Mighty Lion Douluo and orders everyone except Qian Renxue killed. Saga defeats her, forcing her to escape using Undying Body 179 181 183.

Soul Hunting Operation

Bibi Dong attempts to seize control of Qian Renxue’s imperial substitute through Ghost Douluo, but Aegaeon prevents the intimidation attempt. She subsequently includes Nine Stars Hall’s Sunset Forest branch among her intended Soul Hunting targets 213 214.

Sea God Island’s intervention forces her to halt plans for simultaneous war against the Clear Sky Sect and Star Luo Empire. She turns toward the Soul Hunting Plan, first proposed twenty years earlier and previously blocked by Worship Hall and other elders 258 261.

Her deployments target the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, and Nine Stars Hall branch. Despite the destruction of the dragon clan, major losses and the failed attack on Nine Stars Hall leave her furious; Xiao Yu’s strength proves far greater than she expected 260 262 281.

Sect Reelection and Imperial Expansion

Spirit Hall announces a new Seven Great Sects selection during Qian Renxue’s wedding, deliberately overshadowing the celebration. Xiao Yu organizes opposition from major sects, empires, and Sea God Island, effectively defeating the proposal before it can proceed 295 296.

Bibi Dong then establishes the Spirit Hall Empire, absorbing sects and territories including the Balak Kingdom. Nearly one-third of its territory is taken from the Star Luo Empire 301 349.

After Yu Xiaogang’s death, she orders war against Heaven Dou. Her senior officials persuade her to withdraw that order and instead pull back border troops, allowing Heaven Dou and Star Luo to fight each other 328.

Fall of Spirit City

Xiao Yu launches a surprise invasion of Spirit City. Qian Daoliu’s Angel Legion remains at Worship Hall rather than reinforcing Bibi Dong, while her Sacred Dragon Legion confronts the attackers 329.

Having completed eight Rakshasa trials, Bibi Dong fights Xiao Yu at unrestricted Level 99. Her domains, duplicate, second martial soul, and Soul Bone weapons fail to secure victory. Asura God secretly strengthens her final attack, but Xiao Yu defeats her with his Soul Bone fusion armor and God of Death Judgment 332 334 335 336 337.

She survives through Undying Body and flees under Asura God’s cover. Her remaining forces are defeated or surrender, ending her control of Spirit City 338.

Rakshasa Ascension and Proposed Alliance

Retreating to the City of Slaughter with Hu Liena allows Bibi Dong to focus entirely on her final God Test. The humiliation of her defeat drives her to inherit the Rakshasa God position before Qian Renxue 346 347.

She returns intending to reclaim Spirit Hall and stop her daughter’s ascension, but witnesses Qian Renxue successfully inherit the Angel God position 347.
