Background

Tang San is the son of Tang Hao and inherits twin Martial Souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. His Blue Silver Grass initially appears ordinary because his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline has not awakened. Tang Hao directs him to seek the Blue Silver King after reaching Level 50, explaining that the awakening will elevate his plant Martial Soul to a level comparable to the Clear Sky Hammer 194.

At Shrek Academy, Tang San forms close bonds with Xiao Wu and Dai Mubai. He and Xiao Wu develop a coordinated fighting style after living and training together for six years at Notting Academy, while his friendship with Dai Mubai begins after their fight at the Rose Hotel and is strengthened by their shared humiliation at Xiao Yu’s hands 60 215.

Tang San acquires the Eight Spider Lances after absorbing a Man-Faced Demon Spider Spirit Ring. The external Spirit Bone initially has only 1,500 years of age, but later evolves to the ten-thousand-year level through another Man-Faced Demon Spider ring 72 186 296.

Following Tang Hao’s death, Tang San inherits six Spirit Bones, maps to the Blue Silver Forest, City of Slaughter, and the secluded Clear Sky School, plus the responsibility to avenge his family and restore the sect 194. Tang Xiao and Tang Yuehua subsequently care for and train him; Tang San comes to regard Tang Xiao as a second father 199 241.

Appearance

After awakening as the Blue Silver Emperor, Tang San becomes more slender. His dark hair turns dark blue with faint golden coloration 241.

  • Blue-gold aura released through his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline 241
  • Dark-blue hair threaded with gold after his awakening 241
  • Uses the Eight Spider Lances as an external Spirit Bone in combat 166

Personality

Tang San is determined, proud, and highly ambitious. He repeatedly pursues strength through dangerous or morally compromising means, including challenging opponents far stronger than himself, hunting former allies, and devouring Spirit Masters and Soul Beasts for cultivation 165 299 305 307.

He is deeply attached to those he considers family. Tang Hao’s death leaves him unable to calm his emotions, while Tang Xiao’s care earns Tang San’s sincere respect. His attachment to Xiao Wu drives his decision to pursue the Thousand Jun Ant Emperors and seek revenge for her death 215 241 297.

Over time, Tang San’s pursuit of power erodes his moral restraint. He rationalizes devouring enemy Spirit Masters, drains Tang Xiao’s life force through the Eight Spider Lances, and destroys the Blue Silver Forest to gain strength 307 326 305.

Abilities & Skills

Twin Martial Souls

Tang San possesses the Blue Silver Emperor and Clear Sky Hammer, giving him access to two separate Martial Soul paths and the potential for eighteen Spirit Rings 125 163.

Divine Artifacts and Divine Power

Tang San becomes involved with both the Sea God and Asura God.
