I Kidnapped a Prince!
A minute later, Greber turned back into a man.
He gave Sally a complicated look, said nothing more, then turned and left.
He coveted the position of chief, but he was no fool.
He could still tell that Sally was leaving for the good of the Morisou Tribe.
As for giving Morisou's Favor to an outsider, he still considered it an unforgivable crime.
But with the handful of people the Morisou Tribe had left, there was no hope of taking it back.
Perhaps they really would have to set sail. Even if they had to trade other treasures for it, they had to get Morisou's Favor back.
He picked up some rope and a bamboo basket and silently walked into the forest.
There were few people in the tribe capable of fighting now, and he counted as one.
Although his legs were no longer nimble, he could still set a few traps.
"That old fossil actually knows how to lend a hand."
Arms folded, Narcissa watched Greber's retreating figure and snorted.
She came to the tribe every day to deliver game, and every time, she could hear Greber telling the children how men should behave and how women should behave.
That was why, of everyone in the Morisou Tribe, she disliked Greber the most.
"His thinking is just outdated. On the whole, he still has the tribe's interests at heart."
Sally handed Morisou's Favor back to Dill, then walked over and patted Narcissa on the shoulder, smiling with narrowed eyes.
"I'll be counting on you from now on, Captain."
The two got along very well, and even their dreams were similar.
Narcissa aspired to surpass men, while Sally wanted women to receive the respect and standing they deserved.
"The sea is much more interesting than this place. You'll definitely like it."
Narcissa gave Sally a tight hug. She treasured this like-minded friend.
A certain sailor watched the two women with tears silently streaming down his face and pulled out his diary.
"Note: Narcissa likes women. Maybe I should ask the boss for permission to use the green disc."
Clap, clap!
Dill clapped his hands and instructed everyone present.
"Don't just stand around. Head into the forest, get some exercise, and catch some game for the return voyage."
"Yes!" × N
Geno and the others answered and accepted their orders, then headed into the forest with their weapons.
A newcomer who had arrived aboard the Apple Ship asked curiously,
"Who is that guy? Why do we have to listen to him?"
Another shook his head, equally puzzled.
"No idea. I saw Captain Geno listening to him, so I just followed along."
The two hurried to catch up with Geno and voiced their confusion.
Geno smiled mysteriously and patted them on the shoulders.
"He's a big shot. You'll find out tonight."
Meanwhile, Dill had already returned to the Apple Ship.
A newcomer had been waiting in the room for quite some time.
He took off his sunglasses and assumed his two-meter-tall, white-haired form. The first thing he said upon entering was,
"Do you trust me?"
By the following morning, the five outsiders aboard the Apple Ship had become their own people.
A total of fifty-seven children were willing to leave, along with twenty-five adult tribespeople loyal to Dill.
They would board the Apple Ship together and travel to Cologne Island. The twenty-five adults would be responsible for watching the children and keeping them from letting information slip.
About thirty members of the Morisou Tribe were still capable of hunting, and Dill had specifically arranged for his people to leave them plenty of food.
The others still needed time to recover. Those thirty alone could not feed a tribe of several hundred.
Fortunately, as long as they held out for a while, the others would gradually regain the strength to hunt.
Once everything was done, the two ships sailed away from the nameless island together.
The sunshine was lovely that day, though the sea breeze carried a slight chill.
The sails billowed, propelling the ships through the water. They were not moving quickly, but the ride was exceptionally steady.
Narcissa took Sally on a tour of the ship's facilities, helping this primitive woman quickly adjust to modern life.
The boatswain leaned against the rail, watching the Apple Ship sail farther away with regret written all over his face.
Lying on a deck chair in the sun, Dill bit his straw, took a sip of apple juice, and could not help remarking,
"Winter's almost here again."
Before long, it would have been three years since he arrived in this world.
Looking back on the first two years, he had accomplished almost nothing.
His body had been frail, and his stamina had not even increased as much as Robin's.
His hypnosis had been weak. Even making someone believe he could breathe fire had taken considerable time, and his progress in acquiring abilities had been slow.
On top of that, Robin could not maintain her disguise for long. The two had spent every day holed up in their room, using their limited time outside to gather information or find people who needed hypnosis to earn some money.
Only two months ago, when his hypnosis became strong enough to hypnotize someone completely, had their lives finally improved.
But not by much. After leaving Cologne Island, one incident had followed another, and he had barely had a moment to rest.
"I hope the people on that island don't freeze stiff."
Reclining on another deck chair, Robin leafed through the book in her hands and asked,
"The Poneglyph business is settled too. What are we doing next?"
"Traveling, of course!"
Dill took the black spear and crunched it down.
"Tell Hina about my dreams."
Hina cast a curious look over from the third deck chair.
She could more or less guess Robin's dream. It was probably to collect Poneglyphs.
As for Dill's dream, she really had no idea.
Robin closed her book and said softly,
"He has two dreams. One is to become the World's Strongest without lifting a finger. The other is to travel around the world."
"Exactly. Have we had any time to relax this past month?"
Dill sat up and complained indignantly,
"We ran into a sea cow the very night we left Cologne Island. The next day, we landed on some weird Dill Island. After leaving Dill Island, we discovered a Poneglyph. We spent all those days toiling away at sea, and once we got here, we had to hunt and fight yaks."
"It's decided. We're not doing anything before the New Year. We're going to enjoy traveling and see the sights on other islands!
"Oh, and buy a pocket watch while we're at it."
Hina offered a timid objection from beside him.
"I don't think a pocket watch is important."
"I think a pocket watch is very important!"
Dill turned and looked Hina up and down as she lay on her deck chair.
"Speaking of which, Hina, what's your dream?"
"My dream?"
Hina propped her chin on one hand, looking thoughtful.
For the past ten-odd years of her life, all she had wanted was to find a profession she loved and then run away from home.
As for a profession, she had found one now. Her bounty was a million Beli.
She reached out and created a black spear, declaring firmly,
"My dream is to shine in my career and become the finest pirate!"
"Hina is determined!"
She had been training all these days. Even lying here, she did not forget to create black spears to train her Devil Fruit ability.
And provide Dill with a few snacks at the same time.
"Hahaha! Then you've boarded the wrong ship," Dill said with a laugh.
"We're not like ordinary pirates. I'd rather call us a tour group."
"Boss!"
A sailor poked his head out from the second floor and called,
"Your Den Den Mushi is ringing."
"Bring it down."
He thought for a moment. It was probably Bege on the other end.
A few days ago, Bege had hung up on him without another word. He was probably calling to explain now.
The sailor moved quickly, and soon the Den Den Mushi's ringing sounded beside his ear.
Buru buru buru...
Click.
"Get over here! I kidnapped a prince!"
Hina: "..."
And he called them a tour group. Shameless!
