The calls for help on the radio stopped completely.

Only a rapid rustling sound remained.

Chen Mo looked in the direction from which the artillery fire was coming, and just as arcs of electricity surged beneath his feet, a figure blocked his way.

Yelena clutched her chest, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.

Please wait a moment.

"Wait for what? We can't wait."

Chen Mo walked past her and casually said, "Your people are being mowed down by the enemy's humanoid battleships in the rear. If we chat a little longer, the rescue operation can be directly changed to body retrieval."

Yelena turned and took two steps after her.

The injury tugged at her chest, and her breathing became erratic.

She knew very well that she had no right to order the person in front of her around.

Military rank meant nothing to him; neither country, stance, nor honor could stop a monster who could clear out German positions with a wave of his hand.

Moreover, Chen Mo had already heard the location of the advanced cyborg on the radio.

They lost the only intelligence they could exchange.

"Ahem, wait a minute, we can make a deal."

Chen Mo stopped and turned to look at her.

Yelena released her hand from her chest, and the lingering chill in her palm slowly dissipated.

"First, rescue the troops behind the second line of defense and get them to evacuate. After the battle is over, I will give you my body, my abilities, and everything I know."

Several team members nearby simultaneously changed their expressions.

Ivan was the first to rush over and grab her arm.

" Yelena, do you know what you're saying?"

"Know."

"You just saw what he did to those Germany!"

That's how I know what he wants.

Ivan gripped his hand even tighter.

After those black and red spikes pierced through the German lines, not a single intact body was left behind. Everyone present could clearly see what would happen to a living person who made a deal with such things.

Yelena was handing over more than just her abilities.

It was her fate.

"We can still hold the line," another team member said urgently. "Reinforcements will arrive soon; you don't need to resort to this method!"

The people at the radio station won't receive any reinforcements.

Yelena shook off Ivan's hand and looked at her teammates behind her.

"As commander, I order you to stay here, gather the wounded, and no one is to come with you."

"Sorry! I refuse to comply."

Ivan stood in front of her, "If anyone's going to make a trade, it'll be me. I'm stronger than you; he should need me more."

"He has just devoured twenty-two cyborgs whose abilities are similar to yours."

Yelena's voice wasn't loud, but it left Ivan speechless.

Chen Mo already possessed strength, endurance, and tough skin.

However, the ice-based abilities did not appear; at least, they did not see them.

Yelena walked past Ivan and came to stand in front of Chen Mo. There was only one step between them; if Chen Mo stretched out his hand, he could touch her immediately.

She voluntarily stepped into the death zone.

"Don't worry, I won't run away. I'm prepared for the worst."

Chen Mo looked down at her.

"Is this how you do business here? You come up here and put yourself on the counter right away? Typical Russians."

"This is the only thing I can offer right now."

"The question is, what makes you think you're worthy of being a military unit?"

Yelena did not answer immediately.

Another explosion came from afar, and flames lit up from behind the low hillside, followed by the sound of heavy machine gun fire.

The second line of defense is still engaged in combat.

Every second wasted could mean someone's death.

"I cannot judge."

Yelena met Chen Mo's gaze, "I can only gamble that you still want an ability that hasn't been devoured."

"Betting on my preferences is quite risky."

I had no other choice.

She pointed to the eastern hillside.

"The second line of defense connects to three rear trenches, and our soldiers are retreating through the central passage. I'm familiar with the terrain there and can take you around them to find the Battleship Class cyborgs who have broken into the rear."

This condition is useless.

Chen Mo's perception could cover the entire battlefield, and killing everyone wouldn't be difficult for him, but he liked this kind of person.

"Let me make this clear first."

Chen Mo raised his hand and pressed it against her shoulder.

"I'm only responsible for handling valuable targets; I can't guarantee saving everyone. Shells don't discriminate; some just fly into the fire on their own, and I don't have time to retrieve them all."

Yelena's body tensed.

The monster that had wiped out the German positions in a second was right in front of her, its body still stained with the lingering scent of blood. She could smell the faint stench of blood mixed with the smoke of gunpowder, and she could feel the power in that hand.

"Can."

" Yelena!"

Ivan stepped forward again.

Chen Mo turned and glanced at him.

"Don't worry, inspect the goods first, then pay. I'm a fair businessman; at most, I won't offer returns."

Ivan didn't find that statement reassuring at all.

He tried to stop them, but they had already disappeared.

The ground suddenly caved in.

The shockwave kicked up mud and water, forcing nearby team members to raise their hands to shield themselves. When Ivan opened his eyes again, all he could see was a rapidly receding black shadow.

Damn it!

Ivan slammed his fist into the edge of the trench.

The young soldier beside him hesitated for a moment.

Should we give chase?

Ivan looked at the deep pit Chen Mo had created, then at the black dot that was almost gone.

How do I pursue her?

The young soldier thought about it carefully.

"Well, we still have a little gas left to power the vehicle."

Ivan glared at him.

"Drive your beat-up car to gather the wounded."

"Yes."

The young soldier ran a few steps, then added in a low voice, "I think that person will save her."

"Why?"

"He seems to like the commander very much."

Ivan clenched his fist again.

He decided that once the war was over, he would definitely apply to have this new recruit transferred to the mess hall.

A cold wind rushed towards me from mid-air.

Yelena felt a sudden tightening on her shoulders, and the surrounding battlefield blurred into a mass of colors. Chen Mo used his telekinesis to protect her body, but the speed still made it difficult for her to open her eyes.

"Left!"

Braving the strong winds, she shouted, "Lower your altitude after we cross the hillside! There are our air defense positions ahead!"

"It looks like it's gone."

Chen Mo did not slow down.

In my perception, only scattered, ordinary life fluctuations remained in that area. Several powerful auras were moving behind the trenches, and with each contact, the life signals of swarms of soldiers would disappear.

These Battleship Class robots are indeed far more powerful than the previous Tank Class cyborgs.

At least the life energy is abundant enough.

The two crossed the hillside.

The second line of defense appears below.

Yelena's pupils suddenly contracted.

The trenches had been torn open in the middle, and broken guns and wrecked bunkers were scattered in the mud. Several tanks were blocking the retreat route, one of which had been lifted into the air by a huge force and rolled down onto the evacuating crowd.

The soldiers below looked up.

The tanks blocked out a large portion of the sky.

No one had time to escape the fall zone.

Yelena suddenly raised her arms, blasting out the last bit of cold energy from her body. The white ice flow rushed towards the tank, quickly covering the body and tracks, but her strength was almost exhausted, and she was simply unable to support the tens of tons of steel.

"Stop it!"

Golden light shone from Chen Mo's fingertips.

The next instant, the falling tank exploded in mid-air.
