Earth-1610B Universe, Queens Cemetery, New York.
May Parker was wearing a black trench coat and holding a pure white chrysanthemum in her hand.
The edges of the petals shimmered with a faint red and blue glow, standing out starkly in the dim cemetery.
She stopped in front of a Tombstone; the inscription on the stone read "The Grave of Parker, Spider-Man Peter, the City Hero."
May Parker bent down and gently stroked the Tombstone before placing the chrysanthemums on the cold stone slab.
She stood up, adjusted the collar of her trench coat, and stared quietly at the Tombstone for a good ten minutes.
" Peter, I'll come talk to you again tomorrow."
She had just turned around and taken two steps when she heard the soft sound of earth turning over behind her.
May Parker stopped immediately, quickly reaching into her trench coat pocket and finding a metal cylinder.
That was a simple self-defense device that Peter left in the laboratory before his death. It was filled with a high concentration of anesthetic, enough to easily incapacitate an adult elephant with a single injection.
She turned around, her thumb resting on the fire button on the metal cylinder, her finger trembling slightly.
The soil in front of the Tombstone began to churn violently, and a pale hand emerged from the earth.
May Parker took a step back, raised the metal cylinder in her hand, and aimed it at the hand.
Immediately afterwards, another hand broke through the ground and grabbed the edge of the Tombstone.
The soil parted to both sides, and a naked young man crawled out of the grave, covered in mud, his chest heaving violently.
The young man shook the mud off his head, looked around blankly, and finally his gaze landed on May Parker.
" Aunt May?" Peter Parker wiped the dirt from his face, revealing that familiar face. "I... I wasn't my skull smashed by Kingpin? Is this Hell?"
May Parker dropped the metal canister from her hand, which hit the grass with a dull thud.
" Peter...?!"
She lunged forward and wrapped her arms tightly around Peter's neck.
Tears fell onto Peter's muddy shoulders, leaving two white streaks.
Peter coughed twice as he was being strangled, then raised his mud-covered hand and gently patted May Parker on the back.
May Parker finally realized something, turned her head, and glanced at the area below the Tombstone.
The white chrysanthemum, shimmering with red and blue light, vanished without a trace, leaving not even a single petal behind, as if it had never existed at all.
" Aunt May, what happened?" Peter looked down at his unharmed body, even the old scars from the previous battle were gone. "How did I come back to life?"
May Parker loosened her grip and hastily wiped away the tears on her face.
" Kingpin dead." She sniffed and cupped Peter's face in her hands. "All the murderers who killed you are dead, and the rest of their henchmen are in prison."
Peter stood there, stunned, his mouth slightly agape.
"I'm asking, how did I survive?" He pointed to himself, then to the pit.
"He's a Spider-Man from another universe." May Parker took off her trench coat, dusted it off, and draped it over Peter's bare body. "He saw that I was an old man all alone and felt sorry for me, so he gave me a little gift."
"And this gift just happens to be my favorite, doesn't it?"
Peter clutched the collar of his trench coat, looked down at the ditch at his feet, and said nothing; his mind was a complete mess.
"Come on, son," May Parker said, pulling Peter's arm. "Let's go home; I bet you're starving."
"Yes, Aunt May, there's nothing to eat in Hell." Peter swallowed hard and followed May Parker outside. Being Spider-Man, he quickly adapted, his tone becoming relaxed and returning to normal.
" Aunt May, I'm going to eat five big slices of apple pie today!"
"Okay, Peter, I'll make as much as you want."
Prime Universe Earth-199999, Malibu Coast Villa.
The motion-sensor lights in the underground parking garage flashed twice, illuminating the dozen or so rare sports cars parked in the center with a cool white light.
A ring of red ripples, barely perceptible to the naked eye, spread through the air, tearing a gap in the space.
Two middle-aged people, a man and a woman, dressed in retro 1990s suits and long skirts, appeared out of nowhere, their feet stepping on the smooth epoxy floor.
Howard Stark shook his head, reached out and steadied himself by holding onto the hood of the sports car next to him.
Maria Stark leaned against the wall, breathing heavily, her hands covering her chest.
" Maria, are you hurt?" Howard walked quickly over, placed his hands on his wife's shoulders, and checked her body from head to toe.
Maria shook her head, pushed Howard's hand away, and looked around.
" Howard, where is this?" She stared at the holographic projection control panel on the wall, where pale blue data streams were moving. "Where's Sergeant Barnes? He was just smashing our car window, his robotic arm..."
Howard turned his head, looked at the row of extravagantly designed sports cars, and then looked up at the mechanical assembly arm on the ceiling.
"I don't know." Howard walked up to a sports car, tapped the carbon fiber shell, and it made a crisp sound. "But the technology here is at least thirty years ahead of Stark Industries. Look at the air intake design of this engine; it's simply outrageous."
"Unauthorized personnel detected." Six miniature machine gun turrets descended from the ceiling, their red laser sights instantly landing on Howard and Maria's chests.
JARVIS announced over the loudspeaker in the garage, " Mr. Stark has been notified. Both of you are to remain where you are and refrain from any unnecessary movements."
Howard raised his hands, shielding Maria behind him, and stared at the turrets.
" Mr. Stark?" Howard repeated the title, then quickly realized something. "What's the name of this Mr. Stark you're talking about?"
" Tony Stark," JARVIS responded.
Howard turned his head and met Maria's gaze. Both of their faces were filled with astonishment.
In front of a two-story red brick building on the outskirts of Sokovia.
Wanda, wearing a dark red trench coat, stood outside the rusty iron gate.
Pietro, dressed in a silver tracksuit, stood beside her with his hands in his pockets.
" Stark bought this land." Wanda reached out and pushed open the iron gate, the hinges making a harsh scraping sound. "He had it renovated according to our childhood memories."
For the first time ever, Pietro didn't reply. He stared at the familiar old locust tree in the yard and scrambled his toes on the ground twice.
Wanda walked along the brick path to the door and placed her palm on the wooden door.
The air inside was filled with the sounds of laughter from a sitcom playing on a television, mixed with the clatter of spatulas against a frying pan, and even the aroma of fried eggs.
Pietro moved his feet, and a silver afterimage swept through the air.
He appeared instantly in front of Wanda, shielding her behind him, his entire body tense.
"There are outsiders." Pietro lowered his voice and assumed a fighting stance.
Ignoring Pietro's wariness, Wanda pressed the doorknob and pushed the door open.
The living room is furnished exactly the same as it was more than ten years ago.
The old fabric sofa, the wall clock, and the chipped tea set on the coffee table.
In the open kitchen, a middle-aged man with stubble was facing away from them, flipping fried eggs in a frying pan with a spatula.
Nearby, a woman wearing an apron was cutting tomatoes.
Hearing the door open, the man turned around, holding a spatula.
"Who are you?" Olek Maximoff asked, looking at the two young men standing in the doorway, shielding Iryna behind him.
Iryna put down her knife, wiped her hands, and peeked out from behind Olek.
Pietro froze on the spot, his usually super-fast reflexes completely shut down, his hands hanging limply at his sides, his lips trembling slightly.
Wanda looked over Pietro's shoulder at the two faces that had only appeared in her dreams. A red Chaos Magic flickered at her fingertips before instantly extinguishing.
Tears streamed down her cheeks and landed on the wooden floor.
She finally understood what Thor meant by the "surprise."
" Pietro Wanda?" Iryna tentatively uttered the two names.
Although the two people in front of me are adults, their facial features still retain the outlines of their childhood.
Pietro charged forward with such speed that he left no afterimage.
He crashed into Olek and Iryna, causing them to stumble back a step and slam their backs against the Luciferian table.
"It's me." Pietro buried his face in Oleksandr's shoulder, his voice muffled, and clung tightly to his father's waist.
Wanda walked over slowly, her steps a little unsteady.
Iryna reached out and touched Wanda's cheek, wiping away her tears.
"You've grown up, my children. You must have suffered a lot while we were away," Iryna said softly, her eyes reddening.
Wanda threw herself into Iryna's arms, hugging her neck tightly with both hands, and burst into tears.
The Knowhere, Valeria's laboratory.
America the two mothers and introduced them to the people around them.
Tony sat in a metal chair, his hands clasped over his stomach. He was about to ask Reed to look into the information about the " Inheritors " that Thor had mentioned earlier.
A glaring red urgent communication suddenly popped up on his personal terminal.
Tony tapped the screen, and JARVIS's projection appeared in mid-air.
"Sir, two intruders have appeared in the underground garage of the Malibu villa." JARVIS pulled up the surveillance footage. "They appeared out of nowhere, bypassing all the outer security perimeter."
Tony glanced at the screen casually and picked up his glass from the bar.
The next second, he flicked his wrist, and the whiskey in the glass spilled onto the back of his hand.
He suddenly stood up from the chair, knocking over the metal chair behind him, which crashed onto the metal floor with a loud bang.
Everyone in the hall turned to look at him.
Tony stared intently at the middle-aged couple on the holographic screen, their hands raised and locked onto by a laser sight.
" JARVIS," Tony's voice was weak and trembling slightly, "Zoom in on the image. Compare facial features."
The camera zooms in, and Howard and Maria's faces are clearly visible on the screen.
"Match complete, 100% match, confirmed as Howard Stark and Maria Stark," JARVIS reported.
Tony turned his head and looked at Thor, who was sitting on the sofa drinking.
Thor raised the bottle, waved it at Tony, and made an arc.
"You're welcome." Thor tilted his head back, took a sip of wine, and his Adam's apple bobbed up and down.
The reactor on Tony's chest flickered violently twice. He raised his hand, pointed at the screen, and then at Thor.
"You did this?" Tony strode to the coffee table and placed his hands on the glass surface.
Thor slammed down the bottle, making a crisp sound. "It's just a small favor. I never go back on my word. You're always complaining about opposing this and that, so I'm just giving you a little bit of family warmth."
Tony gripped the edge of the coffee table tightly with both hands.
"Are they... real?" Tony asked, his eyes fixed on Thor.
"One hundred percent original, I pulled this back from the brink of death." Thor leaned back on the sofa, his fingers tapping on his knees.
"Their memories are stuck in the last second before they died. Let's go back and give them a crash course, otherwise they'll still think it's the 1990s outside."
Tony whirled around, nanoparticles spreading from his chest and instantly covering his entire body.
" JARVIS, activate maximum security. No one is allowed near the garage." Tony's thrusters spewed blue flames. "I'll be right back."
With a thought, Tony opened a portal, then transformed into a streak of light, rushing directly into the golden portal and disappearing from sight.
