"If only I had a camera. If a meeting of the century like this happened in another universe, it would be fun."

Thor suddenly appeared behind Emma Frost and Elizabeth. Watching Captain Carter and the Hydra Captain locked in combat in the distance, he made a rare joke.

"Here."

Elizabeth pulled a phone out from somewhere and handed it to Thor.

Thor took it and snapped dozens of pictures in a row before something occurred to him. He looked Elizabeth over several times and chose his words carefully before asking, "Elizabeth, where are the pockets in that outfit?"

Elizabeth didn't answer. Instead, she was on another telepathic call with Emma Frost.

"Elizabeth, did you see how he appeared?"

"Just like Kurt Wagner. He appeared instantly."

Emma Frost's frown deepened. Teleportation was Azazel and Nightcrawler's ability. Did Thor have it too, or had he obtained it through those lousy stones?

It seemed she couldn't give those lousy stones to this guy just yet. She needed to study them first. Even if she couldn't figure them out, she had to wait until this big oaf needed them most before giving them to him.

Her years in business hadn't been for nothing. A timely gift was always worth more than adding to someone's good fortune.

"Elizabeth, don't tell me you have a four-dimensional pocket too?"

Elizabeth still didn't answer. Instead, she rolled her eyes at Thor.

"Emma Frost, with the strength you two have, is there any need to sneak around watching them? All those people together aren't a match for you!"

Thor couldn't understand why the two were being so cautious. The White Queen was an Omega-level Mutant, and Psylocke was a quasi-Omega-level Mutant. With the two of them working together, even Cassandra might not be able to do anything to them here, right?

Besides, when it came down to it, the few people on the other side were still ordinary humans. Super soldiers sounded powerful, but in practice, they were nothing special.

Sure enough, the two captains were fighting one-on-one, Black Widow Natasha was fighting Madame Hydra one-on-one, Iron Fist was fighting the Winter Soldier and Crossbones one-on-one, and S.H.I.E.L.D. Deputy Director Hill was locked in a fierce fight with Baron Zemo.

Everywhere he looked, there were familiar faces!

"Thor, if you're so powerful, why don't you go?" Emma Frost looked back at Thor and gestured with her eyes.

Something was wrong. Very, very wrong.

"Don't tell me Cassandra's here?"

"Close. Her people will be here any moment."

Elizabeth glanced at Thor, puzzled. "You can even block Emma Frost's mental probing, so why can't you sense that convoy?"

"Maybe because I only learned how to do it recently. It's not like I've been using it for decades, as you two have."

Thor used his telepathy and psychic power to probe outward. He had only absorbed three fragments of the law of the mind in total, and his maximum detection range was only about eight hundred meters.

Although he had many abilities, they were all still developing. For the time being, he wasn't as strong as the two Mutants whose abilities had matured.

Hearing this, Emma Frost quickly picked up on Thor's choice of words and reached an answer. It seemed that the more crystal fragments he absorbed, the stronger he became.

She wondered whether she could absorb those crystal fragments too, and how she would go about it.

Her gaze fell on Thor once more, her eyes flickering with unknown thoughts.

"Elizabeth, have you two ever faced Cassandra?"

Thor really didn't understand. After all, from what he'd seen of Cassandra in the movie, she had indeed seemed very powerful, but putting Juggernaut's helmet on her had instantly turned her into an ordinary person. Two top-tier telepathic Mutants working together shouldn't have been afraid of her, right?

Elizabeth gave Thor a long look. "Emma Frost and I haven't fought her, but we've sensed her psychic power. It's enough to rival Charles's, or even surpass it."

After hearing that, Thor understood why the two were so cautious. First, a group of ordinary TVA agents had sent them to this hellhole with pruning batons. Then, after sensing Cassandra's power, they would naturally choose to avoid confronting her head-on for now.

That fit their characters.

"So you're not going to fight for the supplies on the spaceship?"

"There's no need to make an enemy of Cassandra for now."

"Then how long will our supplies last?"

Thor asked.

Elizabeth thought for a moment before slowly answering, "There should be enough food for Emma Frost and me for four or five days."

"What about mine?"

Before Elizabeth could answer, Emma Frost's cold, haughty voice rang out again, full of disdain. "Figure it out yourself. What, is the mighty Thor expecting us two mortals to take care of you?"

What the hell? This little White Queen is so arrogant?!

Just you wait! A gentleman can wait three days for revenge!

When the time comes, even if you beg me, I won't let you off!

On the battlefield not far away, the fighters were still going at it fiercely. Then they saw billowing clouds of dust approaching, and when they looked over, they realized Cassandra's convoy had arrived.

Both sides immediately stopped fighting and prepared to flee.

Unfortunately, they were surrounded before they could get in their vehicles and escape.

Cassandra was infamous in Knowhere, and the followers of this madwoman were all lunatics themselves.

Seeing such a force, the Hydra Captain and Captain Carter both understood that if they didn't join forces, neither of them might escape.

Hydra Squad and Carter Squad temporarily joined forces, preparing to take on this group of crazed Mutants.

Pyro, St. John Allerdyce, looked at the nine people he had surrounded, a cruel smile curling his lips.

"None of these are the people Cassandra wants. Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, Azazel, and Toad, they're yours."

A bloodthirsty smile appeared on Sabretooth Victor's face. "Don't worry. I'll take them apart, bone by bone."

As soon as he finished speaking, Sabretooth dropped to all fours and lunged forward. Facing the beastlike attack, the Hydra Captain smashed him away with his shield and shouted:

"Hail Hydra!"

Then he charged at Sabretooth.

Seeing this, the Winter Soldier and the others hurriedly pulled out their pistols and fired. Lady Deathstrike didn't even bother dodging, letting the bullets strike her body before they were promptly pushed out.

She licked her lips, extended ten sharp adamantium claws, and attacked Captain Carter.

Toad, meanwhile, harassed them from a distance with his exceptionally long tongue and venom.

Black Widow Natasha and Agent Hill kept shooting at Toad as he harassed them from afar, trying to stop the disgusting fellow.

Squelch!

A flash of red smoke appeared, and Azazel suddenly materialized behind Hill. His long tail, like a precise blade, pierced through her back and heart, lifting her into the air in an instant.

"Hill!"

Seeing her companion killed by the enemy in a single exchange, Natasha immediately swung her gun around and emptied the magazine at Azazel.

Azazel flicked his tail, throwing Hill to the ground. Then he darted aside and vanished from where he stood once more.

Toad seized the rare opportunity, his long tongue whipping toward Natasha. Just as it was about to touch her, a metal arm caught it.

The Winter Soldier yanked hard with his right hand, instantly pulling Toad over from a short distance away. Giving him no time to react, he knocked him flat with two punches, then slit his throat with a knife.

"Thanks, Bucky," Natasha said, looking at the Winter Soldier after he stepped in to help her through the crisis.

The Winter Soldier said nothing, instead kicking Toad's corpse aside.

"Callisto, Bullseye, Meatball, Arclight, finish this quickly. Don't be like that piece of trash Toad."

Pyro remained seated in the jeep, watching the scene. Even though one of his accomplices had just died, he felt no stirrings of emotion.

The others nodded. A fat man weighing two or three hundred pounds charged straight ahead, Arclight released shockwaves from both hands, and Bullseye played with the cards in his hand before throwing them out one after another like invitations from the Grim Reaper.

Callisto let out a roar and charged forward as well, only to be stopped by Iron Fist.

Seeing the shockwaves coming, the Hydra Captain and Captain Carter both unleashed their strength, knocking their respective opponents away. Then they threw their shields at the same time to block the shockwaves.

Boom!
