"You might want to prepare yourself mentally, because your workplace isn't on Earth."
Thor said
"What about my employee benefits and salary? You're not going to sell me out like Nick did, are you?"
Hill raised questions, but she didn't care at all where she worked; at the very least, she needed to know if she had followed the right person.
"Uh... I'm not too sure about the salary, you'll probably have to talk to Emma Frost in person. The benefits will definitely be good. If you want a Iron Man Armor or superpowers, that's easy, I can make it happen for you."
"If you have any other needs, you can mention them, like wanting to commute to work in a dinosaur."
"Dinosaurs? You mean I'm going to work in the Jurassic period?"
"Come on, you'll see when you get there."
The portal opened again, Thor stepped inside.
Tony glanced at Hill. "Let's go. This city, the setting of Point Breaking, suits you quite well. None of the external chaos and threats you're worried about exist."
"Really? Looks like I've found a good boss." Hill raised an eyebrow and went in second.
" JARVIS, please inform Pepper that we need to rehire a security consultant."
"Yes, sir. Is there anything else?"
"That's all. Keep an eye on those goblins for me. Let me know immediately if they make any noise."
"Yes, sir."
After giving JARVIS his instructions, Tony entered Frost City.
" Thor, you have excellent taste. I want this man. He'll come to my house tonight."
Emma Frost had a very good first impression of Hill, and after reviewing the woman's memories, Maria Hill was exactly the kind of talent she needed.
She gave Thor a look, then walked out with her new secretary Hill.
Wow!
Seeing this, Pietro whistled inappropriately, " Thor, she's practically a queen!"
Thor, too lazy to deal with this eccentric fellow, turned to the Avengers and said, "Alright, now you can explore the city to your heart's content. Carter will show you around and let you experience the local customs and culture."
"Let's go. I hope you won't be too surprised when we get there."
Captain Carter nodded in acknowledgment and led the way outside.
" Banner, what do you think? Should I buy a few dinosaurs and build a Jurassic Park?"
I'm sure my unborn daughter will love it!
Tony followed Captain Carter, turning to look at Dr. Banner, who was still deep in thought.
"Hmm... anything's fine, but I suggest not buying carnivorous dinosaurs."
"You're right. Let's go find Valeria; that little girl is indeed quite intelligent."
Once the Avengers had disappeared from sight, Betsy spoke calmly, " Thor, you ran so fast back then because you knew what was going to happen, right?"
"Hmm, what happened after we left?"
Thor pretended not to know anything and looked at Betsy.
"Is the enhancement plan you provided for Emma Frost satisfactory?!"
"Hmm... I'm really satisfied. What's wrong?"
"You have no idea how arrogant that bastard Emma Frost is! When she's in a bad mood, she uses her unpredictable abilities to toy with me, and she even makes me do things she knows I can't do! When I can't do them, she calls me stupid..."
Betsy had clearly been bullied terribly by Emma Frost lately. Usually a woman of few words, she seemed unable to stop talking, as she recounted Emma Frost's misdeeds.
"Don't worry, Betsy, I'll teach her a lesson tonight."
Thor smoothed down Betsy's slightly agitated expression and gave her his promise.
"No, Thor, I mean, you get stronger too, I want to take revenge myself!"
Betsy clenched her fists, her bones cracking, and gritted her teeth.
"So what do you plan to use as compensation?"
Thor was suddenly seized by a playful mood. Emma Frost and Betsy were so funny, always trying to outdo each other. They truly were sisters who had been through thick and thin together!
"This is the deposit; the balance will be paid later."
Betsy lifted Thor's chin and leaned in to meet his gaze. The delicate fragrance of purple orchids seeped into Thor's mouth through her soft lips.
Thor felt the soft, delicate body, wrapped his arms around her, and pulled her into his embrace. A faint blue light flashed, and the two disappeared from their spot, returning to the quaint wooden house to begin a special enhancement program for someone.
The night in Frost City is magnificent, with the bright moonlight hanging high in the sky, surrounded by Sparkly stars.
The city at night is illuminated by colorful neon lights. Every now and then, a high-speed hover train or a person riding a pterosaur flashes across the sky. Occasionally, you can even see a Spider-Man or two, swinging on their Silk as they travel.
Natasha from the Prime Universe said to Hawkeye Clint beside her, " Clint, I just saw a version of myself dressed in a really 'punk 'Matt. I really don't understand why she dyed her hair green?"
"I don't know, maybe you and Hulk are having an affair."
Clint made a timely joke, which earned him a big eye roll from Natasha in the Prime Universe.
Tony and Banner began discussing science based on what they had seen and heard along the way, Captain America Steve and Captain Carter chatted and laughed.
Pietro had long since disappeared, while Wanda quietly followed behind the group, observing the city called Frost.
When science fiction from the future collides with creatures from history, a strange and wonderful atmosphere permeates the entire city.
There are also strange and wonderful creatures walking around on the street, including various shapes of superheroes and villain variants.
She could sense that most of the people here were genuinely content with their lives, and even felt a touch of happiness.
Completely different from Earth in her Prime Universe, this was just a borough of New York. The emotions she could feel most every day were panic, fear, anger, and a variety of other negative emotions.
Positive emotions exist, but compared to negative emotions, they are utterly insignificant.
Wanda is now genuinely curious about how Emma Frost, the city lord in the white suit who exuded an aura of "I am the queen," managed to do it.
Wanda! Try this! It's a hot dog made by Spider-Man, and it's pretty good!
Pietro suddenly appeared in front of Wanda, taking a big bite of his hot dog while handing her another hot dog he was holding.
"Did you pay, Pietro?"
Wanda didn't immediately take the hot dog; instead, she asked a question.
" Wanda! Are you kidding me?! Do I look like someone who eats food without paying?"
"Didn't Captain Carter just give everyone ten thousand Frost?"
These two hot dogs only cost four Frost! And they tasted amazing!
"I'm really curious, if Spider-Man has this skill, why is he still so poor?"
"He can easily make a fortune just by opening a small stall, can't he?"
