Hmm... Volume 2 is finished. How should I put it...
Shaoshao feel that the second volume is poorly written; even Shaoshao writing it myself was very difficult for me.
Sigh, I can only blame myself for this.
After all, when I was writing the second volume, I only had a very rough outline.
I basically just write whatever comes to mind. (doge)
The main focus of the second volume was actually on enhancing Hela's power and refining the world's lore.
For example, this volume focuses on the [Five Calamities], which is one of the most important parts of it.
This also reveals Hela's identity; she is also one of the [Five Calamities].
But Hela has many more secrets waiting to be discovered; this is only a part of what Hela's secrets have been revealed.
This only reveals the tip of the iceberg regarding the world's worldview; the next volume will likely fully reveal it.
Then there are the same problems as in the previous volume.
The main character has too little screen time.
Well...
It can only be said that Shaoshao is too incompetent, because Hela has no emotions, and many plot points require emotional elements to drive them forward.
Of course, it's not that being overly rational means there's no story to tell; it just means Shaoshao lack of ability.
After all, he's just a novelist who's been writing for less than a year; he's still a newcomer.
(;_;)
However, I will definitely put a lot of thought into the plot of the next volume and increase Hela's role in it.
Shaoshao will continue to work hard!
The character development and descriptions in this volume are Shaoshao good, but not quite perfect.
Take Hela, for example.
Sigh... I can only say Shaoshao I, as the author, have failed Hela, the protagonist.
Mingming being the main character, he feels like a tool used to drive the plot.
My writing about her emotional changes was also terrible; although I improved my writing skills, it still made her seem very frustrated.
As for the character design, everyone has probably already noticed.
Hela inherited some of Xing Lan's chuunibyou (delusional) tendencies and narcissism, but lost some of her naivety and cuteness.
There's nothing inherently wrong with it; it's just that my writing was too abrupt, and the transition wasn't natural enough.
Sigh, it's true, I feel like Shaoshao is losing confidence and has less and less motivation to write novels.
If it weren't for the fact that the royalties are enough for me to survive, I probably wouldn't have wanted to write anymore.
Sigh, never mind, I've gone off on a tangent.
Ahem, next up is about Aidan.
As you all probably recognize, Shaoshao even dedicated several pages to describing him.
To be honest, Shaoshao is quite confident in his public persona.
Socially anxious, withdrawn, and insecure, yet undeniably kind.
His feelings for Hela were also extremely complex.
Even Aidan doesn't know whether her feelings for Hela are love or admiration.
Another issue is his combat strength.
Based on conversations with them on the [Ground], we can roughly determine that Aidan's strength is above ' Starlight ', but not yet at its limit.
But I personally feel that he has managed his combat strength quite well, and it shouldn't collapse in the future.
Probably...
There's not much to say about the other people.
And in this volume, [Four Seasons] is arguably the most important character.
At the same time, through them, I also want to express that not all Variant are heartless.
[Autumn] is a typical example.
Unwilling to give up her body for the sake of her beloved, she ultimately met her death.
Shaoshao don't really know much about love, since I've never been in a relationship and have never been in one since I was born.
But I think love shouldn't be defined.
I believe that as long as two people love each other, it can be considered love, and there is no such thing as a forbidden love.
Just like Yixue and Jixue, one is human, and the other is Variant.
But they still loved each other, disregarding the opinions of others, and were even willing to give their Life for each other.
Oh, right, I have something to say here.
That's right, Gu Gongming doesn't like Jixue at all; that was just Brown joking.
Gu Gongming said he would only give unconditionally to the people he liked because he was too proud to admit it.
That's not wrong, because he likes everyone in the team!
Haha, speaking of the [Godslaying] Squad, it should have brought quite a shock to all of you readers.
Especially Xiunuosi in it (evil grin)
I don't know if you initially thought he was a man or a woman.
In this squad.
Brown is a captain who seems like a thug.
Lei Yong, a vice-captain with a system.
A domineering CEO, Gu Gongming.
A magical girl and her autistic older sister, Meng Yuan and Meng Yuan.
A Variant and its little wife, Jixue and Yixue.
And, Xiunuosi physiologically male but psychologically female.
Each of them has their own story, and they are not stepping stones for Hela's power.
And as you've noticed, almost all of the strongest among them possess outrageous superpowers.
In contrast, the power of the [Five Calamities] is simply pure power, which is the biggest difference between humans and Variant.
As before, if you encounter any problems, just @ me, and I will generally correct them and reply.
If you have any suggestions regarding illogical plot points or writing style, please feel free to @ me.
Please tag me if you can; I'm unlikely to see comments that are just personal remarks.
But remember, don't tag people just for pranks, or you'll get Shaoshao upset.
If you have any questions about this sentence, please feel free to comment in this chapter.
In short, in the next volume, I will probably reveal the secrets of this world.
The secrets of the Light God Society and the Night Star should also be able to be written.
I might write a little more in the next volume, at least more than this one.
And I really want to finish this book as soon as possible (⑉꒦ິ^꒦ິ⑉)
However, I will definitely not end it too hastily; I will leave you with the best story.
Hehe, by the way, do you guys like Ye Linwan? I guess I really like the Ye Family.
There's much more to their family's story, so please stay tuned.
However, I will absolutely not try to whitewash them; after all, a villain is a villain.
Well, let me digress for a moment.
Shaoshao is currently working on her next book.
We have a general outline now.
As for the genre, it's urban fantasy/cultivation. I wonder if any of you are interested?
But don't worry, Shaoshao, I will still write this book seriously. Once this book is finished, I will immediately start the next one so that you can seamlessly transition to the next one.
Sigh, please don't make the protagonist of your next book a non-human.
It's really hard to write about creatures without feelings.
Look at the number of words I wrote (ಡωಡ)
Okay, that's enough. I've added another filler chapter. I'm so happy!
See you in the next volume, everyone!
Well, as I said before, try to avoid keeping as many books as possible.
Okay, I'll post as many comments as possible; your encouragement is my greatest motivation!
Thank you all Shaoshao!
