• Hela transformed from blood mist into a powerful white-haired girl, while Sea Dragon and the other Sea Shark Dragons pursued Nangong Wu and the human squad.
• Nangong Wu escaped the shark and encountered Liu'er and Lin Wushuang, who killed him, leaving Yan Wusheng devastated when the squad found his body.
• Hela recovered memories of destroying City C and begged Sea Dragon to kill her, but she regenerated and threatened everyone before he took her to Ten Thousand Sharks Valley.

Hela partnered with the Light God Society after Nan Tian revealed the origins of Variants and his plan to wipe out humanity. She then sought Tuote in Russia and helped investigate the Star God Group, reaching a hidden laboratory with Meng Yuan and her sister.

• Lei Yong evacuated the survivors from the undersea world, but left Nangong Wu’s corpse behind, prompting Yan Wusheng to abandon his Night Star credentials.
• Ye Yiqing secured the Sea Shark Dragons’ alliance by offering to revive their dead, while Hela attacked his group before accepting a partnership in exchange for promises of resurrection and answers.
• Hela swallowed [Ocean], absorbed its Power of the Source, and left the Ocean World to meet Nan Tian.
• Nan Tian showed Hela humanity’s wars and the origins of Variants, then offered her wishes in exchange for helping use the Tree of Terra to wipe out humanity.
• Hela accepted cooperation with the Light God Society as an equal and traveled to Russia to find Tuote.
• Tuote reunited with Hela, revealed that her cells had helped create [Artificial Variants], and enlisted her help investigating his grandfather’s possible connection to the Star God Group.
• Hela infiltrated the Star God Group’s welcome party for the [Godslaying] Squad and joined Meng Yuan and her sister in following the controlled Telake and Yifan into its secured basement.
• Hela found a concealed switch, and Meng Yuan opened a hidden room containing specimens and a silver-white monster whose growing metal bamboo was cut away by a laser.

Meng Yuan learned the truth about the Variants and was captured after Nan Tian revealed her nature and took her away. Hela reached the capital, reunited with Aidan, and fought off the Fallen God Group, but [Ground] arrived and trapped Aidan in a pillar of flesh.

• Meng Yuan discovered that researchers had tortured people and sealed their resentful souls beneath glass, then learned Telake had concealed the experiments to preserve their results.
• [Silver Ghost] escaped her culture tank and killed Telake, while Hela and Brown fought her and Nan Tian took the wounded Meng Yuan away.
• Nan Tian told Meng Yuan that she was a dependent life-form created by Meng Yuan’s wish, then revived her and brought her to the battlefield with Hela.
• Hela and Nan Tian left with Meng Yuan, and Hela later took a USB drive of Variant research to a church before traveling to Aketan with Tuote and Weier.
• Hela and Yuliu traced an attack on their lodging to the Fallen God Group, where Hela found Liu Ruqing and reunited with Aidan, who had spent five years searching for her.
• Liu Ruqing detonated bombs throughout the building, but Aidan protected himself and Yuliu from the resulting blue flames as Hela regenerated and fought attackers.
• Hela killed the Night Stars’ attackers, then X warned that [Ground] had arrived early, and [Ground] attacked Hela and Aidan, blasting Hela apart and trapping Aidan inside a pillar of flesh.

After the battle with the Light God Society, Hela and Aidan settled near the Shimizu Residence, and Hela took a job at a media company. While trying to reach Gu Gongming, she encountered Han Xiaoxiao outside Pearl Tower and sensed that her life force was rapidly fading.

• Hela and Aidan helped defeat Ground, and Hela kept him alive and took him into custody before Lin Wushuang transported them away.
• The Light God Society fought the [Godslaying] Squad: Ye Linwan and Ye Qing joined the battle, Nan Tian killed Lei Yong, and the surviving fighters regrouped at the Shimizu Residence.
• At the Shimizu Residence, Ye Linwan recognized Aidan, but Nan Tian stopped the confrontation and Hela later moved into a separate house with Aidan and Xiao Huan.
• Hela, Tuote, and Aidan discussed exploiting the news about the battle, and Hela gave a reporter a photo of Gu Gongming with his right hand missing to secure a media job.
• Hela passed her interview by crushing a fruit knife and became Qin Fengfeng’s assistant, then claimed she had been in a relationship with Gu Gongming and led Qin to his address.
• Qin Fengfeng and Hela watched Pearl Tower while waiting for Gu Gongming, and Hela secretly ate at the café as they waited.
• Han Xiaoxiao arrived at Pearl Tower with Twin Tails and a screen-faced robot, and Hela sensed that Han Xiaoxiao might die within two years.
