• Hela infiltrated Godslaying Technology Company to reach its Battle Armor storage room, while Aidan wrestled with the realization that his dream had become corrupted.
• After Hela learned that Lisa had hired attackers to kill her, Fulan killed Lisa and fought the Black Death Gang’s crow-masked leader, who later recognized Hela as Life.

Aidan and Fulan became entangled with the Godslaying squad as the Four Seasons attacked the city. After Aidan and Kевire fell to Summer and Autumn, Hela joined the squad to fight Winter, Spring, and Autumn.

• Hela and Fulan rescued Fuluolan and the other children from the Black Death Gang, but the city was sealed as the Godslaying squad arrived.
• Aidan and Fulan encountered Yixue and Jixue, were brought to the Godslaying Technology Company, and faced Captain Brown’s persistent recruitment efforts.
• Hela tried to escape the city with Tuote and Weier, but Meng Yuan stopped them, while Winter froze the city’s protective shield and Spring began breaking it.
• Brown and the Godslaying squad confronted Winter, while Aidan and Fulan left the company with the children before Hela sent them back and joined Aidan and Fulan in flight.

Aidan survived the battle, while Ground punished Hela and the Four Seasons before Aidan left to protect the children and free prisoners. The story then followed Ye Yiqing’s escape and a mysterious girl released from a submerged rock, before showing Hela’s new life with her mother and Zhao Rui.

Hela adapted to life beneath the sea, began training to become a guardian, and discovered her extraordinary strength as Variants went berserk. While helping a Sea Herring in Ten Thousand Sharks Valley, she encountered Night Star Nangong Wu, and her sudden loss of control left them facing the pursuing Titan Giant Shark.

• Hela learned that she needed [Ocean]'s permission to leave the undersea world and that she could seek guardian status by earning the approval of [Ocean] or other guardians.
• The female shark-person arranged for Hela to stay with Tang Tang and learn about the surface, and Hela began exploring the ocean world and adapting to its customs.
• Hela joined Spirit Shark on patrol, then secretly attacked and devoured a shark while sleepwalking, with no memory of what she had done afterward.
• As wounded Variants began rampaging, Hela protected Sea Herring and helped Spirit Shark and Mingsha fight a behemoth, then killed it with a panicked blow.
• Hela suspected that the behemoth's flesh caused the madness after a shark that ate its corpse went berserk, but she ate the meat herself and found it delicious.
• Spirit Shark fought a black-haired woman and an invisible man, then sought help from White Foam Shark, who reported Hela's arrival to [Ocean].
