Arrival on the Primal Star

In the Primal Universe, there was a Barren Star Domain far from all the major Universe Countries.

This star domain had no habitable planets or valuable resources, and even Star Pirates couldn't be bothered to visit it under ordinary circumstances. But once every ten thousand years, it became the focus of every powerful being in the Primal Universe.

Because the entrance to the Primal Star lay here.

Six figures appeared out of thin air in the void.

They were Chaos City Lord, Lord Peng Gong, Lord of Darkness, Lord Huang Jian, Lord of Ice Peak, and Qin Yuan. Six Universe Masters had arrived at once, and the auras they released warped the void around them.

"Another quarter of an hour," Chaos City Lord said calmly, glancing in a certain direction in the void.

Qin Yuan followed his gaze. With his Universe Master Level perception, he could clearly "see" an extremely well-hidden spatial rift slowly expanding deep in that part of the void. Within the rift, he could vaguely make out the phantom image of an enormous star.

That was the Primal Star.

The Primal Star was not an ordinary planet, but an independent Miniature Universe. It was as large as a galaxy, with a world of its own inside and laws utterly different from those outside. Only at certain times did a rift appear in the spatial barrier between the Primal Star and the Primal Universe, allowing living beings from outside to enter.

"Remember what I told you before," Chaos City Lord's voice reached everyone's ears. "After entering the Primal Star, keep communications open and call for help immediately if you run into danger. Don't be greedy for treasures. Your lives matter most."

"Yes!"

The six answered in unison.

Time passed, minute by minute, second by second. The rift in the void grew wider and wider, gradually expanding from the width of a hair to several meters, then tens of meters, then hundreds of meters...

Finally, when the rift reached a kilometer across, an ancient, boundless aura poured out of it and spread throughout the star domain.

"It's open!"

With a low shout, Chaos City Lord was the first to turn into a streak of light and rush into the rift.

The other five followed close behind without hesitation.

Qin Yuan's vision blurred, and the scenery around him abruptly changed.

A vast, boundless expanse of land appeared before him. The ground was dark red, as though it had been soaked in countless streams of blood. Three suns of different colors hung in the sky-one gold, one silver, and one blood-red-casting an eerie light.

Cosmic energy filled the air, so dense it had nearly taken physical form, more than a hundred times denser than in the outside world. A day of cultivation here was equivalent to a hundred days outside!

But Qin Yuan had no mind to cultivate, because he could sense at least a dozen auras no weaker than his own scattered in every direction across the Primal Star. They all belonged to Universe Masters from the universe's major factions.

"Split up and proceed according to plan," Chaos City Lord's voice sounded in everyone's ears. "Remember, two to a group. Don't act alone."

"Yes!"

Lord Peng Gong and Lord of Ice Peak flew east, while Lord of Darkness and Lord Huang Jian flew west. In the blink of an eye, only Chaos City Lord and Qin Yuan remained.

"Follow me," Chaos City Lord said, then flew north.

Qin Yuan followed close behind.

As they flew, Chaos City Lord spoke. "Qin Yuan, how much do you know about the Primal Star?"

"I only know that it's the ruins of an Ancient Civilization's battlefield, filled with opportunities and dangers," Qin Yuan answered truthfully.

"That's right, but it's not the whole picture," Chaos City Lord said. "The Primal Star was actually formed from the Divine Kingdom of a fallen ancient God King. That God King was immensely powerful in life, only one step away from becoming a Hunyuan Lord. His Divine Kingdom held countless treasures, and he had also set up countless restrictions within it."

"After the God King fell, his Divine Kingdom drifted through the Universe Ocean until it finally met the barrier of the Primal Universe, forming the Primal Star as it is today. The spatial rift that appears once every ten thousand years is actually an instinctive reaction left over in the Divine Kingdom."

Qin Yuan was shaken as he listened.

Formed from a God King's Divine Kingdom? A God King was a being two major realms above a True God! It was the Divine Kingdom of a peak God King-no wonder it was so vast inside and held so many treasures.

"So most of the treasures on the Primal Star were part of that God King's collection when he was alive?" Qin Yuan asked.

"More than that." Chaos City Lord shook his head. "Over countless years, innumerable powerful beings who entered the Primal Star have also left their own treasures and inheritances here. Some fell on the Primal Star, and their Supreme Treasures and secret techniques became part of it. So the treasures on the Primal Star will only grow more numerous, never fewer."

He paused, then continued, "The area I'm bringing you to this time contains hidden ruins I discovered the last time I entered the Primal Star. I wasn't strong enough then to break the restrictions around the ruins. I brought you along this time to see whether we can break them together."

Qin Yuan's heart stirred.

What level of ruins would have restrictions that even Chaos City Lord couldn't break?

After flying for roughly half an hour, the two arrived before an enormous canyon.

Steep cliffs rose ten thousand zhang on either side of the canyon, their faces covered in densely packed runes. The runes emitted a faint golden glow, and though countless years had passed, they remained perfectly intact, showing just how skilled the person who had placed the restrictions had been.

"This is the place." Chaos City Lord stopped, gazing gravely at the canyon entrance. "This is a typical ancient God King Level restriction, with a combined application of the Time Law and Space Law at its core. The last time I tried to break it, I was nearly trapped by its counterattack. Fortunately, I withdrew in time and escaped injury."

Qin Yuan examined the runes at the canyon entrance carefully, and a system notification suddenly sounded in his mind:

Qin Yuan's heart jumped. A True Supreme Treasure was something that surpassed a Peak Supreme Treasure, and there were only a few in the entire Primal Universe. Even a single fragment was enough to drive Universe Masters mad.

"City Lord, breaking this restriction requires two people working together," Qin Yuan said. "One for the Time Law and one for the Space Law. Which are you better at?"

Chaos City Lord glanced at him, a trace of surprise flashing in his eyes. "You can see how this restriction is constructed?"

"I know a little," Qin Yuan said modestly.

Chaos City Lord was silent for a moment, then nodded. "I specialize in the Space Law. I've also studied the Time Law, but only at the beginner level. What about you?"

"I've reached proficient level in both the Time Law and the Space Law," Qin Yuan said truthfully.

Chaos City Lord's eyes lit up. "Good! Then you'll break the time component, and I'll break the space component. Remember, both components must be broken in sync. The slightest deviation will trigger the restriction's counterattack. Are you ready?"

Qin Yuan took a deep breath and nodded. "I'm ready."

The two walked toward the canyon entrance at the same time, stopping about ten meters from the wall of runes.

Chaos City Lord raised his right hand, his five fingers loosely spread. A vast surge of Space Law power poured from his palm, transforming into countless fine spatial threads that reached toward the spatial runes on the wall.
