When Kou Yan and Kong Rong arrived and tried to remove the Nether King, it sprang up and struck Kong Rong with terrifying force.

• Lin Heng and the Three Evils found Kou Yan and Kong Rong battling the Nether Marshal zombie on the eighth level, then descended to the ninth level to avoid them.

When the Evil Venerable touched the heart, its force injured him and summoned the Nether Ancestor’s phantom.

• Kou Yan failed to escape through the blood curtain and returned to help Kong Rong fight the Nether King.
• Lin Heng signed in on the Netherworld Ship’s tenth floor and received the Nether Ancestor’s Heart.

• The Three Evils defeated the Desolate Beasts in a valley but found no sign of Huang’s inheritance.
• The Three Evils found Barbarian Race powerhouses fighting two Demon Race Great Saints in a black-leaved forest and attacked both sides.

Ao Lie attacked the Three Evils, forcing them to flee through the caves beneath Desolate Tomb Mountain. They escaped into a chamber containing a chained Netherworld Clan arm that appeared to belong to the same ancient being as the arm that formed the Evil Emperor’s Netherworld Black Lotus.

• Ao Lie struck the Three Evils with his dragon claw, badly injuring them, but the Evil Emperor used the Netherworld Black Lotus to shield them.
• The Three Evils fled into the cave network while Ao Lie pursued them in his dragon-headed, human-bodied form.
• After reaching a dead end, the Three Evils opened a strange iron door and entered a passage whose force stirred illusions in their minds.
• The Three Evils reached a cavern and discovered a black, armored arm bound by chains.
• The Evil Emperor recognized the arm as the same kind as the one that had formed her Netherworld Black Lotus, and the Evil Venerable guessed that an ancient Netherworld Clan expert’s body had been sealed in separate pieces.

The Three Evils watched the Netherworld Black Lotus free an arm, then followed its claws upward through Desolate Tomb Mountain. They found another sealed corpse they identified as the Nether Ancestor’s, and wondered why Huang had not destroyed it completely.

• The Netherworld Black Lotus clawed at the chains binding an arm while the cavern’s seal fought back, until the arm joined the lotus in tearing through the chains and ceiling.
• The Three Evils followed the claws through an iron door, which also opened the entrance for Ao Lie, the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon, to enter the mountain tunnel.
• The claws led the Three Evils to another cavern, where they attacked the chains sealing a mutilated Netherworld Clan corpse.
• The Evil Thearch recognized the corpse as the Nether Ancestor’s, and the Evil Emperor and Evil Venerable speculated that Huang had defeated him in an ancient battle.
• The Evil Thearch questioned why Huang had sealed the Nether Ancestor’s remains instead of destroying them, and the Evil Venerable noted that the Nether Ancestor’s heart and another arm had later been aboard the Netherworld Ship.

The Three Evils followed the Nether Ancestor’s reassembling corpse upward and were caught when Huang’s trap activated, binding them alongside the corpse. Ao Lie reached the cavern but stayed outside, leaving the Three Evils trapped as the story ended.

• The Three Evils returned to the iron door, found the Five-Clawed Golden Dragon waiting below, and went back to the cavern rather than risk passing it.
• The Nether Ancestor’s claws broke their chains, rejoined the body, and absorbed the Netherworld Black Lotus before opening a passage upward.
• The Three Evils followed the corpse through the iron door and entered a cavern where the Nether Ancestor’s head joined its body.

Lin Heng and Yue Linglong entered Desolate Tomb Mountain, where Lin Heng gained the Ancient Saint Body and found Ao Lie confronting the trapped Three Evils. After Lin Heng endured Ao Lie’s dragon breath unharmed, Ao Lie attacked him.

• Ao Lie refused to attack the immobilized Three Evils, ignored their taunts, and waited outside the cave as the days passed.
• Lin Heng and Yue Linglong reached the cave and sensed that a Supreme Saint dragon had driven the Three Evils there.
• Lin Heng signed in at Desolate Tomb Mountain and activated the Ancient Saint Body, strengthening his physique.
• Lin Heng and Yue Linglong found Ao Lie and the Three Evils deeper inside the mountain, and the Three Evils called Lin Heng their son.

Lin Heng sent Ao Lie flying with one punch, then followed the chained captives through a hidden iron door into a hall where Huang's will and a restraining formation threatened them. He left Yue Linglong outside and entered the hall to investigate and see if he could check in there.

• Ao Lie attacked Lin Heng with a punch, but Lin Heng struck back and sent him crashing into the cave, where chains bound him.
• Lin Heng entered the cave and watched as the Nether Ancestor's Heart joined the corpse, causing the chains to pull the corpse, the Three Evils, and Ao Lie through an opened iron door.
• Lin Heng and Yue Linglong followed the captives through the iron door into a passage leading to a grand hall.
• The Three Evils recognized the hall's force of will as Huang's and warned that it was meant to erase the Nether Ancestor's will.

Lin Heng obtained the Huang Pearl in Huang Hall and used its power and the hall’s formations to wear away the wills controlling the Three Evils and the Nether Ancestor’s corpse. He made Ao Lie swear a soul oath and become his servant, then recovered the Huang Pearl after the Three Evils’ victims regained control of their bodies.

• Lin Heng found the Huang Pearl, a Heaven-Reaching Spirit Treasure that could attack and protect souls, embedded in Huang Hall’s dome.
