Lin Heng led the Battle Heaven Pavilion into the Third Heaven and defeated the Eight Great Imperial Clans in three battles, humiliating their Saint Emperors and securing Mei Chu’s grandmother’s release. After explaining that the clans would endure and hinting he might eventually leave the Nine Heavens, Lin Heng sent the Pavilion to war against the Fire Clan.

• Lin Heng revealed the Battle Heaven Pavilion’s strength at the Peak of Fallen, and its disciples defeated the Eight Great Imperial Clans’ thirty-six Ninth-Grade Heavenly Venerables in the first battle.
• The Eight Great Saint Emperors armed three fighters with Nirvana Spirit Treasures, but Lin Heng’s Evil Avatar, Good Avatar, and Sun Yuan absorbed the weapons’ Powers of Origin, and Eternal Ages destroyed the treasures.
• Lin Heng rejected the Fire Separation Saint Emperor’s offer to concede, and the Ascenders helped prevent the Saint Emperors from interfering as Sun Yuan and the avatars killed the three fighters.
• Lin Heng fought eight fighters empowered by Origin Spirit Pearls, drained their energy before their planned self-destruction, and killed them in the third battle.

After breaking the Fire Clan’s resistance and helping the Fire Separation Saint Emperor reconcile with his people, Lin Heng entered the forbidden ground to confront the Thought Avatars. He freed the Thunder Punishment and Wood Clan Saint Emperors, gained the Avatars of Desire and Evil, and began a dangerous contest with Wrath while the Metal Clan Saint Emperor moved to kill him.

• Ao Zhantian warned the Fire Separation Saint Emperor not to interfere, while Battle Heaven Pavilion forces routed the Fire Clan and besieged its Heavenly Origin Fire Prison.
• Situ Jiannan’s forces shattered the prison’s formation, and Yan Juantian resisted surrender until Lin Heng’s Evil Avatar killed him and Yan Jiuyin led the Fire Clan experts in swearing allegiance.
• The Fire Separation Saint Emperor apologized to the surrendered Fire Clan members, persuaded many to return, and broke through after admitting his mistakes.
• Ao Zhantian told Lin Heng about the forbidden ground and the returning foreign tribes, while Dijiang explained that the ground held the Thought Avatars of Mu Chen’s emotions and desires.
• Lin Heng entered the forbidden ground alone, overcame the Thought Avatar of Desire controlling the Thunder Punishment Saint Emperor, and sent the freed Saint Emperor outside.

The Fire Separation Saint Emperor secretly agreed to cooperate with the outsiders in exchange for a path beyond the Nine Heavens’ limits, and by the end he had secured his clan’s support.

• Lin Heng won the Fire Separation and Six Desires Thought Avatars’ spiritual power, collected rewards from Mu Chen’s eight former sites, and helped the leaders of the Thirteen Factions destroy the forbidden land’s evil thoughts.
• Miao Shanrou and Lin Miaoyin visited Liu Ling’er, where Lin Heng found them on warm terms with his mother, but the other Saint Emperors later interrogated the women about their connection to him.
• The Lei Clan Ancestor revealed his fear of Lin Heng’s potential and gave the Thunder Punishment Saint Emperor the Ten Thousand Li Rivers and Mountains Map, warning him to attack only when sure Lin Heng could not return.

Lin Heng exposed the Fire Clan’s collusion with the foreign race, then led the Nine Heavens into the enemy world while Dijiang killed the Fire Separation Saint Emperor. The arc ends as Lin Heng and the Nine Heavens forces confront the Three Umekawa Brothers at Gourd Valley.
