Background and History
Transmigration and Imprisonment
Zhou Qing arrived in the world of Desolate Era several chaos cycles before the Three Realms era familiar to him. His Heartforce talent earned him a place as Ancestor God Fantian’s youngest disciple in the Maha Sect. After his heavenly tribulation, he possessed both an Empyrean God body and a Celestial Immortal cultivation base 1.
His prospects collapsed during the Cold Mountain Chaos Kingdom’s invasion. Fantian died defending a pass where the eldest prince of Nine Directions also fell. The enraged King of Nine Directions punished Fantian’s entire sect: ordinary disciples were sold into slavery, while higher-ranking members such as Zhou Qing were imprisoned 1.
Recognizing his prison as the seventeenth World Prison that Ji Ning would eventually obtain, Zhou Qing endured in hope of future release. Several chaos cycles strengthened his Dao-heart but nearly exhausted his divine and magic power. The Infinite Simulation Panel appeared as his remaining resources approached depletion 1.
First Simulation: Zhou Xian
His first simulation placed him in the Seven Wonders World as Zhou Xian. He joined the Three Immortals Palace, obtained the Pure Yang Immortal Mansion, and cultivated toward the panel’s objective of becoming an Empyrean God or Celestial Immortal within a thousand years. The attempt ended at the Heart Demon Tribulation 1 2 3 4 5.
Rather than select the failed life’s memories, Zhou Qing retrieved the mansion itself. Its supplies restored his original body and made continued survival possible 5.
Successful Simulation: Wu Xian
As Wu Xian, Zhou Qing cultivated among the monsters of the Wujiang Immortal Mansion, received Immortal Wusui’s guidance, and eventually escaped through a spatial passage. At Golden Light Cave, he explored with Xuanshu and endured Perfected Taiyi’s reincarnation trial 6 8 10 11 12.
Following the successful tribulation, Zhou Qing integrated Wu Xian’s memories and overwhelmed the Shaoyan patriarchs attacking him. He subsequently enslaved Shaoyan Chou, seized the World Prison stele, and eliminated Chou’s eighteen bodies. Possessing the stele placed the prison under his control but did not immediately free his original body 15 16 17.
Daoist Disciple and Great Emperor of Fengdu
The opportunities at Golden Light Cave connected Zhou Qing to the Daoist Sect. Sanqing accepted him as a disciple, named him Taixu, and gave him the Ten Thousand Flowers Precious Lotus. Zhou Qing later accepted appointment as Great Emperor of Fengdu, using his access to the Six Paths of Reincarnation to study the Dao rather than interfering extensively in Netherworld administration 18 23 24.
While searching for Immortal Duohe, he killed the Western Ghost Emperor Bai Qi and exposed an enormous Annihilation Dark Gold mine. Sanqing freed its enslaved miners, while Zhou Qing brought Duohe to Fengdu and arranged a position for him. The Daoist Sect received seventy percent of the mine, with Zhou Qing awarded thirty percent of the sect’s share 25 26 27 30.
Returning to the Seven Wonders World, he found that the failed Zhou Xian life had left no corresponding ancestor in the Zhou Clan. He also reunited with Wusui and resolved to remove the Skyburner Venomwind trapping the world’s inhabitants, repaying the world that had given him hope during his imprisonment 28 29.
World Prison and Bodhi’s Inheritance
After Wu Xian’s original body became an Empyrean God, Zhou Qing entered the World Prison from outside and obtained eighteen bottles of Chaos Spirit Liquid. Using multiple bodies, suppression techniques, illusions, and prolonged ranged attacks, he stripped prisoners of treasures and techniques. Over roughly 150 years, he plundered nearly a hundred True Gods and first-tier True Immortals 30 31 32 33 34 35.
His progress in fusing Time and Space fulfilled Patriarch Bodhi’s challenge. Bodhi formally accepted him as the inheritor of his Path of Time and Space and taught him the complete method 35.
Among the techniques taken from prisoners was True Immortal Qifeng’s Waterflame Jindan Refining Technique. Zhou Qing obtained a million jin of Nine Flame Paste from the Daoist Sect’s treasury and sought its complementary material, Ice Heart Marrow, in the Moonlit Pool 35.
Royal Grandson Simulation
The next simulation made Zhou Qing a grandson of the King of Nine Directions—the ruler he blamed for his imprisonment. This life took place near the war that had destroyed his original prospects. After abduction and abandonment in the Realm Ruins, his simulated self survived, returned to the kingdom, and studied under Godlord Miejue 36 37 38 39 40 41.
Serving as the seventeenth World Prison’s warden proved fatal: unlike the prison in Zhou Qing’s original experience, a prison housing a favored royal grandson attracted enemy attention. Immortal Daoyi killed the simulated self. Zhou Qing rejected the memories and targeted the World Prison Command Talisman after discovering that retrieving the Moonspirit Bracelet or an Ancestor God golem would cause unsurvivable backlash 44 45.
Moonlit Pool
A clone traveled to the Moonlit Pool while other bodies continued their activities elsewhere. Zhou Qing defeated the Yaksha guardian, befriended Empyrean God Xiuke after an initial misunderstanding, and overcame the Snowfiend through a Space Power breakthrough 46 47 48.
On Volcano Island, he advanced his fused Time-and-Space power and completed Dark World. He then carried Xiuke and the Seven Ancient Dragon Gods in his estate-world treasure to challenge the Purgatory God 49.
Zhou Qing defeated Purgatory God through a prolonged battle supported by Dark World and Heartforce illusions. In place of choosing another treasure, he obtained permission to take Ice Heart Marrow. He began refining two Pure Yang jindans during the journey to Ten Thousand Mountains Island, where he befriended the imprisoned Empyrean Gods and agreed to spar with Empyrean God Feiyou 51.
On the Path of Ten Thousand Blades, he studied the guardians’ claw techniques and incorporated their principles into his own. After defeating nine guardians and attaining fourth-level Claw Power, he returned to Thousand Stars Island. The trapped Empyrean Gods all chose to enter his pocket-world treasure and accompany him to the final challenge 61.
He defeated the tenth guardian, reached Fallen Moon Island, selected three treasures, and swore Lifeblood Oaths before receiving the Fallen Moon Temple inheritance. This included the Withered World God and Nine Origin Annihilation techniques. The Fiend King’s promised opportunity then led him through a lake to the temple housing Violetjewel 62.
Violetjewel’s spirit refused to accept him as its master because his Sword Dao was inadequate, but allowed him to memorize World God Beixiu’s extensive collection of techniques. He spent half a month doing so and obtained the Only True Body method, though the spirit withheld the Heart Sword Technique 62 63.
Ink Bamboo’s Pursuit and Elder Yuan’s Recruitment
After Zhou Qing killed True Immortal Dayan, Dao Ancestor Ink Bamboo confronted him. Zhou Qing acknowledged the killing, refused to disavow his revenge, and requested Sanqing’s assistance. He then used Void Evasion and fourth-level Space Power to escape across the major worlds of the Three Realms 55.
The pursuit lasted three months. Zhou Qing deliberately avoided minor worlds and instead crossed major worlds protected by powerful True Gods and Dao Ancestors, making indiscriminate destruction politically costly for his pursuer 55.
Elder Yuan intervened and tried to recruit Zhou Qing as a disciple. Knowing Yuan’s intentions were hostile, Zhou Qing repeatedly declined and insisted on obtaining his master’s consent. When Yuan threatened to take him by force, Sanqing and Bodhi arrived. Sanqing recovered Zhou Qing from Yuan’s restraint, rejected the proposed apprenticeship, and later warned him that Yuan’s behavior toward old friends seemed false 56.
True God Advancement and Thousand Winds City
After leaving the Moonlit Pool, Zhou Qing advanced Wu Xian’s body to True God and used Only True Body to merge seventeen bodies. The resulting Half-Step Ancestor God body possessed tremendous brute strength. With a divine body comparable to a Supreme Xiantian Spirit-Treasure, he could fight True God Shiyu by attacking without defending, compensating for inferior combat technique through strength and durability 63 64.
He also used the Kuitian Taihao Pagoda to accelerate the Second Primaltwin’s cultivation to fifty times the normal flow of time. He subsequently traveled through the chaos and reached Thousand Winds City 65.
Following arena battles, Bai Zhi informed him that he had grade-C access and 131 Eternity Points. He spent fifty points on the six-piece Wanxiang Claws, then contemplated a giant tortoise statue representing the Space-Time Dao. Nearly two hundred years of study raised his Power of Time and Space to the fourth level 67.
Swallowed Star World Simulation
When the panel became available again, Zhou Qing began a simulation in the Swallowed Star World as an ordinary human born in the Cold Star Divine Kingdom. Its objective was to become Undying within one hundred thousand years. After completing this life and processing its memories, he attained fifth-level Power of Time and Space. He tested his improved strength against Thousand Winds City’s puppets, defeating C-4 through C-7 but failing against C-8 because of his comparatively weaker divine body 67 72.
His Swallowed Star World self continued cultivating after the simulation. He spent more than two hundred years creating Space Rift, an Undying Peak Secret Technique, before traveling aboard an F9-class spaceship to the Cold Star Empire’s Imperial Capital Star 83.
His return was celebrated by God Lord Cold Star and the empire’s leading figures, who remembered his rise as the Space Blade World Lord. He reunited with his former teacher Scott and secured him a place in the Initial Universe. He also repaid God Lord Cold Star with the Water Moon Sword, remembering the academy training, weapons, and Life Fruit that had supported his early survival 84 85.
His talent drew hostile attention from the Zerg, whose investigators inferred that his transformation was connected to the Space Phantom special lifeform that had disappeared from the Second Battlefield. After he defeated a King-level Immortal assassin, human Universe Venerables allocated further resources to him, including the Heavy Gloom Claw, ten drops of Beast God Blood, and a place in the Thunder God General Inheritance 85 86 87.
The Lord of Darkness accepted Zhou Qing as his disciple, with the Chaos City Lord’s agreement. To conceal the relationship, Zhou Qing was instructed to present himself publicly as the Lord Youhou’s disciple. He received high-grade Supreme Treasure armor from Youhou, the Azure Flame Divine Lamp and Darkness Codex from his actual master, and strengthened his human clone through Blood Luo Crystals and Beast God Blood 88 89.
The Thunder Divine General Inheritance raised his Divine Power Amplitude to ninetyfold. He subsequently fought the Demon Race’s Samsara King for months, gaining fame as Black Armor King. After rival peak races identified his simultaneous mastery of major Time and Space Law branches, they treated him as a major threat; the Zerg placed him at the top of its Assassination Ranking 91 93 97.
While preparing to return to Chaos City for safety, his Space Phantom clone answered a mysterious call beneath Heavenly Pit Continent. A stone gate led it to a starry realm containing a gigantic black hole. Studying this birthplace of the Space Phantom allowed Zhou Qing to complete the Space Law and comprehend Time Deceleration 97.
Defense of the Six Paths of Reincarnation
As the Three Realms’ great tribulation approached, Zhou Qing studied the Heavenly Dao of Destruction to advance toward Ancestor Immortal and free his original body. Upon receiving fate’s warning of the coming conflict, he recalled Wu Xian’s true body to defend Fengdu. The merged Second Primaltwin brought the Kuitian Taihao Pagoda back to the Three Realms, while a seed clone was sent to the World Prison 74.
He met Ji Ning’s soul at Lord Cui’s residence before reincarnation and bestowed a breath of Pure Yang primordial Qi. This strengthened Ji Ning’s future talent, protected his life, and prevented Meng Po Soup from erasing his memories. Zhou Qing then deliberately directed him into the Path of Humans while calling it the Path of Devas, judging that familial and romantic love would better complete Ji Ning’s life 74 75.
When the Seamless Gate attacked the Netherworld, Zhou Qing defended the Six Paths of Reincarnation. He slew Swordmaster Darknorth and fought Dao Ancestor Demon Hand, eventually suppressing her with Three Heads and Six Arms and six Wanxiang Claws. After Bodhi, True Immortal Yuding, and Sun Wukong entered the battle, Demon Hand was struck, admitted defeat, and escaped with Ink Bamboo 75 76 77.
The assembled Nuwa Faction major powers recognized Zhou Qing as a leader-level figure. Sanqing praised his growth, Bodhi acknowledged him as a fellow expert in Time and Space, and Suiren thanked him for preserving the Six Paths of Reincarnation. The leaders then discussed a response to the Seamless Gate through the Hall of Myriad Clans 77.
Infinite World, Discipleship, and the Original Body’s Advancement
Zhou Qing created the Infinite World and acted as its guide. He explained to Ji Ning that escape required either ten consecutive hell-level missions while mortal or one hell-level mission after becoming an Empyrean God or Celestial Immortal. He later revealed his identity as its creator and guide and accepted Ji Ning as his personal disciple 83 104.
At his Dao attainment ceremony in the Fengdu Imperial Garden, nearly all Nuwa Faction True Gods and Dao Ancestors attended personally or through avatars. Using fifth-level Heartforce and an investigative secret art, Zhou Qing identified more than sixty Nuwa Faction major powers with abnormal conditions linked to Elder Yuan. He estimated that Yuan controlled more than a hundred True Gods and Dao Ancestors across both factions and resolved to seek a way to save the affected Nuwa Faction experts before the final war 103.
He also guarded his acquaintances against Yuan’s manipulation. When Yuan attempted to recruit Zhang Xuanshu, Zhou Qing intervened, stating that she already had a master. Wusui, Duohe, the Wujiang monsters, and Xuanshu were all under his watch; he had also brought Xuanshu into the Infinite World as a precaution 102.
Within the World Prison, Zhou Qing’s original body cultivated eighteen bodies, advanced them to True God and first-tier Ancestor Immortal, and fused seventeen together. The resulting body possessed Half-Step Ancestor God divine strength and magic power approaching a Chaos Immortal’s. He then traveled to Thousand Winds City, took the Thousand Winds Token from his clone, and introduced himself to Bai Zhi as Taiyi, Taixu’s master. He defeated the Class B puppets through B-5 before facing a puppet with peak Ancestor God strength 104.
Appearance
- Original introduction: A young man in tattered clothes, nearly drained of divine power 1.
- After recovery: Wears white, has a jade-like, flawless face, and resembles an elegant young master 5.
- Wu Xian body: Of the monster race, with fur and claws; his claws serve as his principal close-combat weapons 18 22 47.
- Combat form: Uses Three Heads and Six Arms, later equipping all six hands with matching Wanxiang Claws 77.
Personality
Zhou Qing is exceptionally patient and survival-minded. His imprisonment lasted several chaos cycles without breaking his Dao-heart. In simulations, he favors secure foundations, lasting defensive treasures, and avoiding unnecessary confrontations over immediate gains 1 3 5 12 13 14.
His caution does not replace ambition. Integrating Wu Xian’s memories reminds him that his original goal was not merely survival, but genuine freedom. In the royal simulation, he chooses the Primordial Power route because he refuses to settle for an ordinary World Realm foundation 15 41.
He is ruthless toward enemies and willing to use enslavement, coercive memory searches, and resource deprivation. Nevertheless, he distinguishes revenge from indiscriminate slaughter: he spares Immortal Duohe when killing him would be unnecessary and considers eliminating the Shaoyan patriarchs sufficient without exterminating their entire clan 10 16 17 33 35.
Gratitude also guides his actions. He remembers Sanqing’s generosity, assists former companions, and seeks to repay the Seven Wonders World for providing the resources that saved his life 18 27 29.
He retains considerable emotional detachment after his immense lifespan. He acknowledges that threats against his acquaintances would disgust him rather than shake his Dao-heart, yet still takes precautions to protect them. His bonds with the Three Realms and gratitude toward Sanqing and Bodhi lead him to oppose Elder Yuan’s control of the Nuwa Faction despite his own origin outside the Three Realms 102 103.
His strategic thinking includes exploiting political restraints rather than relying solely on speed or force. During Ink Bamboo’s pursuit, he deliberately chose major worlds whose powerful protectors discouraged indiscriminate destruction. He also concealed his original body’s identity in Thousand Winds City by presenting Taiyi and Taixu as master and disciple 55 104.
Abilities and Skills
Infinite Simulation Panel
A panel that sends simulated selves into other lives and offers rewards based on their outcomes 1.
- Successful simulations: Can produce a clone; the Wu Xian life also supplies Zhou Qing with its accumulated memories 1 15 16.
- Failed simulations: Can still provide an item or memories. Item retrieval requires Zhou Qing to withstand backlash proportional to the treasure’s value 5 45.
- Selection flexibility: During the royal simulation’s reward retrieval, he rewinds its timeline to seek a survivable alternative treasure 45.
- Limits and protection: Simulations have a cooldown; the panel conceals his transmigration memories from others 5.
- Cross-world simulation: Can assign an identity and cultivation objective in the Swallowed Star World, rather than only within the setting of Desolate Era 67.
- Transfer of comprehension: Processing the Swallowed Star World’s memories enables Zhou Qing to advance his Power of Time and Space to the fifth level 72.
Heartforce and Illusions
His earliest exceptional talent, developed under Fantian and refined through imprisonment and simulated experience 1 15.
- Reinforces attacks without an obvious external sign, allowing a claw strike to exceed an opponent’s expectations 25.
- Enables illusions, bewitchment, enslavement, and compelled cooperation with memory searches 16 33 47.
- Depends on available Heartforce reserves; prolonged peak-strength fighting becomes easier once he can rely more heavily on Primordial Powers 35.
- His Power of Illusion reaches the fourth level by the final stages of the Moonlit Pool trials 61.
- At fifth-level Heartforce, an investigative art from his inheritance detects abnormal conditions even in magic-power or divine-power avatars of major powers. He uses this to investigate Elder Yuan’s victims during his Dao attainment ceremony 103.
Space, Time, and Their Fusion
Zhou Qing develops spatial destruction, traversal, world formation, and eventually fused Time-and-Space power 22 35 49.
- Uses Grand Teleportation for travel and spatial interference to disrupt enemies’ teleportation attempts 15 22 23.
- Initially combines separate Time and Space powers; genuine fusion is a later, distinct achievement 30 35.
- Learns Bodhi’s complete Time and Space method, comprising the Slanting Moon, Square Inch, and Three Stars parts 35.
- At its second level, his fused power is no weaker than third-level Space Power 49.
- Void Evasion: Fourth-level Space Power raises his mastery of this traversal art beyond ordinary Dao Ancestors’ evasion techniques, although it remains inferior to Ink Bamboo’s abilities 55.
- Contemplation of the Space-Time Dao statue and later integration of Swallowed Star World memories raise his fused power to the fourth and fifth levels respectively 67 72.
- He divides the Path of Time and Space into five branches: destruction of time and space, Space-Time World, travel through time and space, avatars of time and space, and indestructibility of time and space. He specializes in the first two, giving him a greater combat focus than Bodhi 72.
Dark World
A suppression art that uses Space Power to contain chaos power and form a world around an enemy 23.
- Becomes heavier and harder to escape with each successive level 23.
- Requires both spatial comprehension and relevant Five Elements and Eight Trigrams attainments 23.
- Can be stabilized with the Ten Thousand Flowers Precious Lotus; Zhou Qing uses it against Bai Qi and the Snowfiend 25 47.
- Reaches its final stage, the Qian Heaven Realm, after his fourth-level Space Power breakthrough 49.
- Used together with Heartforce illusions to weaken Purgatory God during their prolonged battle 51.
Claw Techniques
His signature offensive techniques develop from spatial destruction into attacks incorporating Time, Space, Heartforce, and divine-power amplification 22 30 46.
- Named techniques include Space-Rending Claw, Sky Rend Claw, Heaven-Trapping Claw, Heaven-Severing Claw, Heaven-Slaughtering Claw, and Heaven-Exterminating Claw 22.
- Uses Three Heads and Six Arms to deliver simultaneous claw attacks 47 48.
- Incorporates the principles of Void Great Destruction into his own moves rather than directly adopting the art 49.
- Of his nine original claw techniques, the first four become too elementary for frequent use. Sky Rend Claw is his most natural attack, Heaven-Exterminating Claw is his strongest, and Heaven-Slaughtering, Heaven-Severing, and Heaven-Trapping Claws are best suited to clearing weaker enemies 52.
- Studies the claw arts of the Path of Ten Thousand Blades guardians, reaching fourth-level Claw Power and refining his combat skills toward the limits represented by their techniques 61 62.
- Combines six matching Wanxiang Claws with Three Heads and Six Arms to suppress Dao Ancestor Demon Hand, whose additional arms lack equivalent Chaos Wonders 77.
Divine Body and Power Amplification
- Immortal Golden Body: A protective ability whose second level makes his body comparable to a mid-grade Xiantian Spirit-Treasure 31.
- Great Extinction Divine Power: Condenses destructive runes using Annihilation Dark Gold to amplify divine-power output 27 31.
- Eight-Nine Arcane Art: Confirmed as mastered when he meets Empyrean God Xiuke 46.
- Eighteen Fiendgods of Taowu: Produces multiple bodies for survival, parallel activity, and more efficient Dao comprehension. Zhou Qing also applies it to Wu Xian’s Second Primaltwin 21 32 35.
- Memory sharing: Continues between his bodies even after one enters the isolated Moonlit Pool 46.
- Only True Body: Obtained among World God Beixiu’s techniques. Fuses separate bodies, including their divine bodies, golden cores, and souls; merging seventeen bodies produces Wu Xian’s Half-Step Ancestor God body. His original body later uses fusion to gain Half-Step Chaos Immortal magic power 62 64 104.
- Golden Statue divine ability: Its first part makes his True God body comparable to a Supreme Xiantian Spirit-Treasure 64 67.
- Waterflame Jindan Refining Technique: Uses Ice Heart Marrow and Nine Flame Paste to refine Pure Yang jindans, providing a route to improve the quality of his Ki cultivation 35 51 74.
Swallowed Star World Abilities
- Space Law: Masters Space Lockdown, Space Strangulation, and Teleportation before eventually comprehending the complete law through the black hole at the Space Phantom’s birthplace 83 97.
- Time Law: Masters Time Stop and later Time Deceleration 88 97.
- Space Rift: A self-created Undying Peak Secret Technique capable of shattering space across a million kilometers during a test. The Heavy Gloom Claw’s Space Strangulation patterns complement it 83 87.
- Space Phantom special lifeform: Possesses a Space Phantom clone associated with a special lifeform whose innate Gene Multiplier is 200. Its three innate secret techniques are estimated to be at least Undying Peak Secret Technique level, though Zhou Qing initially uses them without understanding their underlying principles 83 85 97.
- Genetic enhancement: Eight Blood Luo Crystals and ten drops of Beast God Blood raise his human clone’s Gene Multiplier to eighteen 89.
- Thunder Divine General Inheritance: Raises Divine Power Amplitude to ninetyfold at the 9,000th step. Together with genetic enhancement, this allows his human clone to unleash 162 million times a Peak World Lord’s power 90 91.
- Material and soul attacks: By the conclusion of the inheritance, he possesses both material-attack and soul-attack secret techniques at the peak of the Immortal level 91.

- Monitors acquaintances who might be targeted by Yuan and uses his Dao attainment ceremony to investigate a broad gathering of Nuwa Faction major powers and their avatars 102 103.
