Hagrid had recently acquired a dragon egg.

Harry and the others had only just learned about it.

When Hermione took the two boys to the library and found information about Nicolas Flamel, they immediately rushed off to find Hagrid and told him about Nicolas Flamel.

Then Hagrid, who had grown up drinking Veritaserum, accidentally let slip that he had a dragon egg.

Ron looked utterly bewildered, while Harry looked at Hagrid worriedly and said:

"Hagrid, they said you grew up drinking Veritaserum. You should drink less of it!" Harry looked completely sincere, and a huge question mark rose above Hagrid's head.

"Huh? Who said that? You can't just drink that stuff whenever you like, Harry. Veritaserum is only used when questioning important criminals." Hagrid even gave Harry a serious explanation.

Hermione, who saw through the truth: ...was it possible... they were just joking?

In any case, Quirrell was dead now, and nobody knew where Voldemort had run off to. The Philosopher's Stone should be very safe now, yes.

But they couldn't rule out that he might possess someone else and return, such as a certain new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor.

Lockhart, who was in the middle of a lesson, talking a mile a minute about the life experiences he had stolen, suddenly felt his smile stiffen and a chill run down his spine.

The third-years listening below all looked at least somewhat dead inside, because nothing this man talked about had anything to do with Defence Against Dark Magic Class.

Some Gryffindors, led by Fred and George, were secretly playing on their phones in the back row.

Cedric, sitting in the middle, maintained an awkward but polite smile throughout. He could understand why the people in the group called Lockhart a disgrace to Ravenclaw.

Come to think of it, was this gentleman really a Ravenclaw?

It was a little hard to believe.

"Hey? There are unicorns in the Forbidden Forest?"

"So there's a three-headed dog at the end of the third-floor corridor!"

There were people gathered around both Fred and George, the two groups secretly reading the chat with them.

So there were unicorns in the Forbidden Forest?! George was shocked. He and Fred went there for walks every day, but had never run into one.

Did Professor Snape Wash His Hair Today: Speaking of which, I'm really curious what Fantastic Beasts are in the Forbidden Forest. When I watched the movie, the poor unicorn was attacked by Voldemort, and there weren't any unicorns in the later movies either. Red Lily: The original book described it. After Hagrid left, the substitute teacher showed them unicorns QAQ I want to see them too. Did Professor Snape Wash His Hair Today: And from the description in the book, unicorns sound so lovely. I really want to see one in person. Yuanzhang: I actually really want to try out those traps from the first movie www. The giant Wizard's Chess and the Flying Keys look so exciting! My Wife Grindelwald: Exactly! Professor Snape's Harry: I really do want to transmigrate. Draco's Bangs: Honestly, same. Bug Ming: If I ever transmigrate, I'll personally kick away Fred's boxed lunch. Azkaban's Flower-Planting Rabbit: If I ever transmigrate, I'll personally kick away Professor Lupin and Tonks's boxed lunches. Harry on My Left, Little Sirius on My Right, Ced at My Back, Twins Underfoot: Or they could transmigrate here instead. That would work too. Kerun: Wow, reverse transmigration! I approve! Draco and Harry Must Be Real: I really want to see them looking completely confused in the modern world, then having fans mistake them for cosplayers and swarm them for autographs. Shi Man: ! That could work! Grindelwald's Favorite: So, is any author going to write it?! (Offers pen) James-Brand Shampoo: Aaaah! It could also be waking up to find my fave suddenly dropped into my home! [Admin] Yan: ? Wow, what level of renaissance is this? Tom Riddle's Sweet Little Wife: I remember there being lots of stories like that on Tieba hundreds of years ago? Bug Ming: Ah, that takes me back to a certain Q Reading app. All the stories there were like that back then! My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: ? Wow! Cho: That sounds interesting? Cho: Kind of want to read it? Harry's Runaway Glasses: Unfortunately, when I went looking, a lot of those old stories had disappeared qwq Riddle's Quill: Hehe, good thing I saved backups back then. [Admin] Holy Crap: Actually, they're in our group files /shy [Admin] !: ...I remember now, damn. [Admin] Yan: Hahahahaha, it was back when we first made the group! The author put them in there- My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: Group files? Let me see. Azkaban's Flower-Planting Rabbit: ? Aren't there also some rather questionable things in our group files? Draco's Runaway Hair: Hmm... what were they again? Cho: What's this "Overbearing Draco Falls in Love with Me"? Is it the same kind of story? My Older Brother Is Farting: ? My Older Brother Is Farting: "The Great Snake-Lion War"? What's that? Zabini's Feather: ! Yabai! It's embarrassing old writing from the early days! Bug Ming: Wait! Don't click on The Great Snake-Lion War! Kids can't read that one! /reaches out My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: ? You're kidding. Is there anything I can't read? [Admin] Holy Crap: We're doomed, I actually forgot about that. [Admin] Yan: We're doomed, we're going to corrupt the children. [Admin] Malfoy's Official Wife: Wow, you still haven't deleted those things? [Group owner] ?: ? [Group owner] ?: @! Didn't you say you'd deleted all that awful stuff? [Admin] !: QAQ I missed a few. Riddle's Quill: I feel like some incredible things happened in this group before.

Fred, George, Lee Jordan, and the other Gryffindors gathered around the screens all looked curiously at the prominent words on the files displayed on the two screens:

"The Great Snake-Lion War."

Class was over by now, and they had gathered in the corridor, ready to enjoy the story with the somewhat familiar name.

"From the title, it looks like a story about a battle between Slytherin and Gryffindor," Angelina said confidently.

Fred rubbed his hands together. "Why don't we open it and see for ourselves?" George reached out excitedly and opened the file. A little loading circle began to fill.

Professor McGonagall's Cat Teaser: ? So what is "The Great Snake-Lion War"? I just clicked on it, and it said it had been deleted. James-Brand Shampoo: /silence Draco and Harry Must Be Real: Hmm... well, look at my name.

Harry had always thought that, since he had even read those comments so bold they might as well have taken their pants off, there was nothing left that could shatter his worldview.

But...

He really had been too young.

Blaise skimmed through the file at lightning speed, finishing it before it was deleted. But his feelings refused to settle long afterward. His brain seemed to have crashed, and he sat in a chair in the common room, contemplating the secrets of the universe:

"Can a human being really write something like that?"

Theodore, his roommate, gave him a puzzled look.

The corridors of Hogwarts fell unusually silent.

Fred froze solid. After a long moment, he slapped a hand over his eyes and shook George's shoulder with the other, howling, "George! My eyes! My eyes!!"

Harry hadn't even finished reading before he turned bright red and crouched in a corner, shutting down. Ron wanted to comfort him but didn't even know where to start.

Harry had it so rough. Not only was it with Malfoy, but he was also the one on the bottom. Ron wiped away nonexistent tears, crouched beside Harry, and patted his shoulder. "It's okay, Harry! Look, not many people have read it! It's all fake!"

Hermione tried to pick up the pieces of her shattered worldview. Hearing Ron comfort Harry like that, she couldn't help thinking, You'd be better off saying nothing.

Over in Ravenclaw, where there were no classes that afternoon, Cho sat on her bed, having just finished the worldview-shattering Draco/Harry fanfic. Cho felt that she had acquired some strange new knowledge.

"So... boys can do that too..."

It was Cho's first time seeing something like this, and she couldn't help blushing a little. Some strange tastes were quietly awakening in her heart (?)

(Everyone, please just laugh this off! Don't get too hung up on the characterizations! Go easy on me!)

Beside Fred, George held his head, having lost the ability to speak. George opened his mouth, wanting to say something to cover up the awkwardness. At that moment, George's thoughts went all the way back to the Big Bang.

The other Gryffindor kids behind them all wore expressions of utter shock. Lee Jordan coughed, said he still needed to go to the library, and slipped away first.

The crowd then scattered quickly, leaving the corridor much emptier in an instant.

But Malfoy, one of the key figures, had missed this historic moment. When he returned to the common room after finding his head of house and asking his questions, Blaise looked at him with a complicated expression, then came over, patted his shoulder, and said, "Good thing you weren't there. Thanks for your hard work."

Malfoy: ???

"What are you talking about?" Still carrying a pile of extremely heavy Potions materials, Malfoy was wondering why his head of house had looked at him so strangely before leaving, then said he was going to assign him extra work. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been carrying these heavy materials back.

"Never mind that. On my way back just now, a bunch of those damned Gryffindors kept staring at me. The way they looked at me made me uncomfortable all over!! Hmph! One day I'll have my father expel every last one of them." Malfoy grumbled on and on.

"They're always like that, looking like a bunch of stupid lions," Pansy said matter-of-factly. "Draco, let me help you carry those!"

"Are you sure they weren't looking for a fight?" Theodore asked, voicing all the possibilities he had considered. Malfoy looked at the ceiling as he thought back, then shook his head. "It didn't look like they wanted a fight. It was more like... pity? Anyway, I hated the way they looked at me!"

The only Slytherin in the know → Blaise chose silence.

[Admin] !: Phew, I promise this time! They're all deleted! Bug Ming: We're doomed, the group's perverted nature is going to be exposed... Draco's Hair Gel Wholesale: Honest question: when did our group ever hide it? Ron Seafood Wholesale Market: Haven't we always been like this? Stepmother Literature: /silence Proprietress Number Two: I think I heard a call from afar? Bug Ming: /pushes her back down. Proprietress Number Two: Holy crap, where did the Draco/Harry fic I finally managed to save go?! Proprietress Number Two: Who deleted my- [Proprietress Number Two has been muted by admin ! for half an hour] [Admin] !: ...Amen (girl praying) [Group owner] ?: ...

Hagrid's dragon egg was about to hatch.

Harry and his two friends arrived just in time to see the Little Dragon hatch, and Ron immediately took out his phone, ready to record this sacred moment.

What boy could resist a dragon?

Draco couldn't either.

First, we knew that Hagrid had a dragon egg and that it was about to hatch. Then, Ron, Harry, and Malfoy all had phones.

So the following scene could be seen.

Ron filmed the Little Dragon hatching.

Malfoy filmed Ron filming the Little Dragon hatching.

The Weasley Twins (?) filmed Malfoy filming Ron filming the Little Dragon hatching.

Hagrid saw the Weasley Twins filming Malfoy filming Ron filming the Little Dragon hatching.

"Who's there!!?" Hagrid spotted a figure outside the window and instantly grew alert. Harry and the others immediately turned around and saw a panicked Malfoy.

Seeing that he had been discovered, Malfoy turned and ran. His phone fell to the ground when he was startled, but he didn't have time to pick it up and could only run first.

Who would have thought one of the twins would intercept him on the spot?

Fred darted out of nowhere, tripped Malfoy, and pinned him down, making it impossible for him to get up, let alone escape.

George picked up the phone Malfoy had dropped, jogged over, and crouched in front of him.

Fred said with a grin, "I didn't expect the Malfoy family's young master to stoop to spying, hmm?" George also smiled and waved the phone in his hand. "Even secretly filming?"

Harry and the others hurried over. Ron was shocked to see his two older brothers there and, for a moment, didn't know whether to scold Malfoy or complain about his brothers breaking school rules yet again.

Malfoy looked thoroughly displeased. "You're all breaking school rules! Just wait until I tell Professor McGonagall. You'll be sorry!"

The Weasley Twins, who had just come out of the Forbidden Forest, exchanged smiles.

"Don't forget you broke school rules to come out here too, young master."

"If anyone gets punished, we'll all get punished."

Only then did Hermione realize that she had gone along with them and broken school rules too.

Whenever Harry saw Malfoy now, he couldn't help remembering that damned The Great Snake-Lion War. Fred and George were doing better, since they weren't the ones involved. Meanwhile, the only other person involved who was present hadn't even read the thing, and Harry felt like shutting down again.

"I told you you shouldn't have come to see me so late..." Hagrid looked regretful that he hadn't sent them away earlier. "Hurry back to the castle! If you're caught, you're done for."

George blinked. "It's fine, follow us!"

"What do you mean?" Ron was still a little confused. Fred grinned wickedly. "How else did you think we usually broke school rules?"

Hermione couldn't help stamping her foot. "You boys!"

She didn't want to be expelled, and she didn't want to lose house points either.

So she could only follow Fred and George back to the castle. George didn't really want Malfoy to know about their secret passage, so he simply covered Malfoy's eyes.

As for what he used to tie it on, never mind that.

As a result, Malfoy kept blathering nonsense all the way, things like "How dare you do this to me!" and "I'm going to tell my father!"

Ron couldn't help gagging him outright.

As for what he used to gag him, please don't mind that either.

Fred, who had just been about to cast a spell, raised his wand and gave him a thumbs-up.

After they returned to their respective common rooms, Ron couldn't help asking, "So why were you there, anyway?"

"It's a secret. Don't ask, or we'll turn your pillow into a spider." George and Fred threatened their little brother with the same grins as ever.

Harry sighed silently, saying he might have nightmares tonight.

Hermione didn't want to talk and went straight back to her dormitory.

Mm.

It was truly wonderful, truly wonderful that they hadn't been caught.
