What changed after their identities were exposed?

Maybe nothing much, but for us, it meant having something more to look forward to in life.

When reality knocked us down and we felt like we fucking couldn't go on, we could take a look at the group chat and see the characters we truly loved right there, keeping us company and chatting with us. Okay, we could live a few more days ✓.

Stepmother Literature: I never realized magic could be this close before.

Bug Ming: There's only a screen between us.

James-Brand Shampoo: So can we watch a live Quidditch match? (expectant.jpg)

My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: Maybe you can ask Little Ronnie for a recording.

My Older Brother Is Farting: It's a recording of Harry's first Quidditch match. It should be worth a lot in the future.

My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: We mean the future of the wizarding world~

[Admin] Yan:?

Professor Snape Doesn't Wash His Hair: Why do I get the feeling the twins are better at using their phones than I am?

Fred and George's Off-Campus Girlfriend: Be confident. They are.

Professor Snape's Underpants: I'm jealous of you people in the twins' group. You can actually chat with them... As for our Professor Snape group...

Professor Snape Is Mine: ...So you still aren't planning to change your names?

James-Brand Shampoo: Hahahaha, I finally know why Professor Snape wouldn't accept my friend request.

Little Tom's Plastic Surgeon: ? So you really aren't planning to change your names?

Proprietress Number Two: They saw right through us ages ago. Why change them?

Proprietress Number Two: My perverted nature has been completely exposed, wahhh... Hehe.

Magpie: ...

I'm the Twins' Dog: Teacher Number Two, it had to be you.

Bug Ming: 6

The Christmas holidays were drawing to a close. Much as they hated to bring it up, some people still hadn't finished their homework, and it would be checked once classes resumed. The common room had been full of people studying these past two days.

Even Professor McGonagall would have praised them if she'd seen it.

Ron looked up blankly from his sea of schoolwork. He had finally finished the Potions essay Snape had assigned. Meanwhile, Harry had finished his Herbology homework with the help of the group members.

Harry was really curious how they knew all this stuff...

On that subject, a certain group owner, Red-Lipped, White-Toothed The Chosen One, had this to say:

I don't know Herbology, but you think I don't know biology? I don't know Potions, but you think I don't know chemistry?

I don't know spells, but you think I don't know English?!

With enough effort, there was no way they couldn't find a substitute or an answer. Even Hermione had to marvel at how impressive it was when she saw it. The answers weren't all correct, but they could actually help Harry and Ron.

"I obviously joined to watch them chat and have fun." Ron was baffled. "How did it turn into them tutoring me on my homework?!" The phone he had always treasured so much felt a little hot to the touch now.

"I think this is actually a good thing. Classes start tomorrow, Ron, you should know that." Hermione came over carrying a stack of books, with a phone resting on top of the uppermost one-it was hers.

Ron glanced at Hermione, then at his homework.

"I know, but homework always has this magic that makes you want to put it off until the last day..." Ron tilted his head back to look at the ceiling. Harry nodded. "But we'll finish it today!" Probably.

They wouldn't say that "probably" out loud, but Hermione could already tell from their expressions...

Still, the two of them didn't seem like the sort to leave their homework undone, so Hermione put down her books, sat down, and picked up her phone to open the chapter she was currently reading.

"I'm almost finished with this book. Honestly, if the diary hadn't been handed over to Dumbledore, everything in here would have come true: young Voldemort, the Basilisk, and Ginny being controlled..." Hermione said. Ron suddenly grew much more serious when he heard Ginny's name.

"But none of that has happened now," Harry said, putting down his quill. "Apart from Dobby, all our problems are solved, aren't they?"

"Is there something we've overlooked?" Ron asked, equally puzzled.

Hermione closed her eyes in silence, then slowly said, "Professor Lockhart. In the original timeline, he would have lost his memory because of the Basilisk and your broken wand, Ron. We wouldn't get Professor Lupin until next term..."

Harry and Ron looked at each other, their expressions gradually turning horrified.

*Things were gradually getting serious.

Little Angel Luna: I mean...

Little Angel Luna: How come most people have their faves here already?

Little Angel Luna: Where's our Luna? Baby Luna, where did you go? (shedding tears.jpg)

Luna's Underpants: Exactly! Baby Luna started school this year too, wahhh...

White Gravel: Now that you mention it, that's true...

[Admin] Holy Crap: Ginny and Luna and the others started school this year. Don't tell me they don't have phones? I don't believe it! QAQ

The Weasley Family's Goddess of War: Exactly! I don't believe it either!

My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: ...

What's Wrong with Eating More?: ?

Avada Gnaws at Math: Wait, aren't they right here? Just ask them!

Sister Ginny, You're My Only Sister: @My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me, Fred, ahhhh! Does your sister have a phone? Give us a straight answer! QAQ

My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: Hahahahahaha, not telling!

My Older Brother Is Farting: Wouldn't it be no fun if we told you?

Ron, Let Go of That Hermione and Let Me: ? As expected of you...

Magpie: As shameless as ever, but I like it, hiahiahia--

Snape's Darling Wife: ? Teacher Number Two, how could you steal someone's account!

Proprietress Number Two: ? When have I ever been that restrained?

Tom Riddle's White Moonlight: ...6.

I'm Tom's Underpants Dog: Looks like I won't get to meet young Tom... (looking at the sky, shedding tears.jpg)

A Hydrangea: It's over, her true nature's completely exposed.

Wizard on the Run from Hogwarts: Sigh...

Hello Everyone, My Name Is Quidditch: Actually, we aren't the only ones whose true natures have been exposed.

Wang Qiu: Haha, Senior Wood was even more excited than we were after he was exposed... (world-weary cigarette lighting.jpg)

Flying Broomstick: He really does love Quidditch :-(

Bug Ming: ?

Wood's Underpants: After Wood was exposed, he kept pestering us for all kinds of information on his Quidditch opponents and what might happen in Quidditch in the future. (silence.jpg)

Professor Snape's Underpants: Truly enough to leave the boys speechless and the girls in tears.

Clinging to Newt's Leg: At least you can talk to your idols.

Ling Tong: ...That's rough.

James-Brand Shampoo: Don't remind me. I was in Professor Snape's fan group, and he kicked me out, wahhh... (sobbing.jpg)

Harry's Godmother: ...Look at your name. You're lucky Professor Snape didn't block you.

Was James Potter OOC Today?: He still loves Lily so much.

That Nostril Draco Uses to Look at People: Hahahahahaha, I can't tell who Professor Snape being exposed is more of a torment for.

Oh My Mother: Hahahahaha

Oh My Mother: Professor Snape says: Spare your poor old professor.

Carrying Narcissa Away: I'm dying.

Snape frowned at his screen. These people were getting more and more outrageous.

After they were exposed, he discovered that he had immediately received a notification in the app saying he had become an admin of his own fan group?

After thinking about it for a moment, Snape figured out what the position did and promptly kicked the Weasley twins out of the group chat. Sure enough, he felt a little better afterward.

Still, he really hadn't expected this group of strange fans to be better at Potions than those few Trolls among his students :)

Who were the wizards here?

Snape put down his phone with a dark expression and began brewing the potions Madam Pomfrey needed.

In the Ravenclaw common room, Cho and her friends were gathered together, chatting with the fans over a voice call. Both sides were just ordinary people and ordinary wizards from their respective worlds, so they actually had quite a lot to talk about.

Some of the fans were pretty good at English and acted as interpreters. Although Cho was British Chinese, her family usually spoke English at home, so her Chinese couldn't be considered really, really good either.

Still, everyone enjoyed the conversation.

"So that's the kind of knowledge you study in your world..." a girl beside Cho said in surprise. "Those are Muggle subjects like mathematics, right?"

The fans were very enthusiastic, especially a certain materialist, Diligent Little Eagle.

"Yeah! Actually, a lot of what wizards learn is pretty similar to what we Muggles learn! We just learn it in different ways!"

"Exactly, exactly!"

"History of Magic is actually pretty similar to the history we usually have to memorize!"

"History is torture no matter what world you're in..."

"Huh? Speaking of which, does Hogwarts have any subjects related to physics?"

"Damn this timeline..."

It really was a wonderful feeling, as though an opening had been made in the barrier between two worlds that could never have crossed paths. It was beautiful and dreamlike.

Cho thought for a moment. "Physics? I think Muggles do study that, but among the subjects we study... there doesn't seem to be one." Cho smiled apologetically.

A little eagle trapped in History of Magic poked her head over. "Do you have any better study methods? I mean, for history."

Hey, now that was a subject the group members were wide awake for.

People from two worlds chatted happily through an ordinary phone.

Though the phone wasn't ordinary anymore either.

As they chatted, one fan suddenly brought up another well-known Ravenclaw.

"Oh? Speaking of which... didn't Luna start school this year? Did she get a phone too?"

A voice full of anticipation rang out. Diligent Little Eagle and Cho's other fans looked over. Hey, wasn't that Luna Is an Angel on Earth! No Arguments Accepted from the group next door?

Cho's Girlfriend: ! Oh no, they're here to gather intel!

I Am Cho's Dog: Cho! Don't tell them! Let them find out for themselves!

[Group owner] Diligent Little Eagle: Ah, exactly!

Cedric and Cho Forever: Speaking of which... is there anyone Cho likes right now?~

Cedric and Cho Forever: I don't mean anything by it, really, I'm just curious!!!!

Cho blushed a little when she saw their messages on the screen. Someone she liked?

Cho's friends beside her were quietly laughing and getting ready to tease her when a voice suddenly spoke up nearby:

"Is it Cedric?"

Cho and the other little eagles turned to look. Luna had come over and was standing beside them, though they didn't know when she had arrived. To be honest, Luna wasn't very popular with the other students in the house because the girl was a little too strange, but they were all classmates.

Besides, Luna had received one of those phones at the start of term too, so they couldn't very well say anything to her face. After all, their studies were usually their more important focus.

Luna Is an Angel on Earth! No Arguments Accepted: ? Wait, did I just hear Little Angel Luna's voice?!

Luna's Underpants: !! Where's Luna?!

Kerun: Oh no, the Luna fans have flown over.

Luna was a smart girl with quite a personality. No one in the group had yet realized that Carrot Earrings was Luna herself, but if Ginny were exposed, Luna might be found out soon afterward too, right?

So she and Ginny had played a little game to see whose fans would discover her first.

The two were actually quite close, since they had started school in the same year and both received phones. Ginny also had a tiny bit of the twins' personality deep down, so she agreed.

And so Luna had become determined not to reveal her identity so early.

But now it seemed...

"It looks like I might lose," Luna muttered to herself. She moved away and headed toward the dormitory, leaving the other students feeling a little awkward. The blush faded from Cho's face.

They happily resumed their conversation.

The Christmas holidays ended.

Hermione felt that if Professor Lockhart was still teaching Defence Against Dark Magic Class next year, she definitely wouldn't learn anything new... Even so, she had to stand firm in her resolve.

Ron looked at Hermione as her conflicted expression turned determined. "So... are we really going through with this plan?"

Harry fell silent too, because they were about to use what they were originally supposed to experience to put Lockhart back on the plot's original track.

But getting Lockhart to willingly cast Obliviate with Ron's broken wand seemed a little difficult.

"I'm sure, Ron. No matter what, I have to take responsibility for my future! Even though I can study on my own, I'd still like a more reliable teacher," Hermione said firmly.

Ron glanced at Harry and whispered, "Have we been a bad influence on Hermione?" This wasn't the sort of thing Hermione would do. Harry was more concerned about what Hermione had said: "Even though she could study on her own."

And so the strange plan was made.

Completely unaware and still in the dark, Lockhart was in his office looking in the mirror as he prepared to write new autographs to send his fans in return.

I couldn't quite understand why he needed to look in the mirror, but perhaps that was just Lockhart.

School life settled back into its usual routine. While chatting with the group members every day, the twins also packaged up some of the prototypes they had made. They planned to test them themselves first, then, if there were no problems, find a way to send some surprises to the fans.

Professor McGonagall, for her part, was very fond of these lovely children. Like Snape, she thought the children knew more magic spells than her own students did (they knew them but couldn't actually cast them at all, haha).

Under a barrage of praise from his fans, second-year Neville gradually grew more confident!

Everything was moving toward a bright future!

Everyone was working to make changes to avoid that future.
