History
Mortal-era record
A Simulated Universe profile depicts twenty-year-old Tang San as a Rank 59 Soul King with Twin Martial Souls, an External Soul Bone, and numerous Tang Sect techniques. Lu Jingming judged the simulated version—limited to eighty percent of Tang San's strength—to be unremarkable after defeating him without using a soul skill. 65
Tang San continued to rely heavily on Hidden Weapons in later simulated battles. Huo Yuhao's Spiritual Detection exposed the trajectories of his Bone-Melting Divine Needles and Mother-Child Soul Chasing Life-Taking Gallbladder, while Ultimate Ice and Tang Ya's Blue Silver Overlord Spear killed him before he could use the Clear Sky Hammer. 213
Sea God schemes
As Sea God, Tang San monitored the lower realm from Sea God Palace and reacted immediately when a “chess piece” in his plan produced an unexpected deviation. He dispatched divine consciousness to investigate the Far North, destroyed part of a serpent shadow with a trident phantom, and brought captured purple Honkai Energy back to the God Realm. 113
His long-term arrangements centered on directing Douluo Star's future and strengthening his family. He prepared Tang Wutong's path to godhood, placed Divine Sense Clones in the Golden Tree and Wang Dong, and planned for Ah Yin to refine the Golden Tree into Douluo Star's Life Core while Tang Hao replaced the planet's Plane Will. 113 169 343 451
The Golden Dragon King's attack on its seal disrupted these plans. Tang San joined the God Realm's response, exchanged divine seats with Xiao Wu to become the Asura God, and helped control the Three Realms Judgment Sword against the Golden Dragon King. 226 227
Battles in the lower realm
A Divine Sense Clone guarded Ah Yin while she refined the Golden Tree's origin. The clone used Sea God power and the Sea of Life to oppose Huanlong, the Great Lord of Annihilation, but its final Body and Halberd as One strike was absorbed by Myriad Phenomena Annihilation; Huanlong annihilated the clone and began corrupting the Golden Tree's core. 342 343 345
Another Divine Sense Clone later appeared to protect Tang Wutong after her defeat. Its conflict with Lu Jingming escalated into a divine battle: Lu Jingming's Eight Thunders Prohibition wounded the clone, Jing Liu intervened when Lu Jingming was exhausted, and Gu Yuena ultimately erased the manifestation with an elemental attack. 364 365 366 376
Final downfall
Tang San regained clarity amid the God Realm's chaotic war after sensing the destruction of his Golden Tree Clone and the disappearance of the Divine Sense Clone linked to Tang Wutong. He also detected Xiao Wu's aura in the lower realm, concealing his restored composure while reassessing the situation. 435
When Xiao Wu returned while suffering memory loss and identified Huo Yuhao—not Tang San—as her husband, Tang San's restraint collapsed into madness. Already wounded by Acheron and attacked by former enemies, he was subsequently overwhelmed by Lu Jingming's divine keys and the conflicting Sea God and Asura powers within his body. 481 482 483
The Demon Empress self-destructed in an attempt to take him with her, leaving Tang San alive but without his left arm or legs and with his divine armor destroyed. Wang Qiuer, Bibi Dong, and Qian Renxue then delivered the final killing blows. 484
Appearance
Tang San is described as an exceptionally handsome young man with long, deep-blue hair flowing down his back while acting as the Sea God. 113
- In his Sea God state, he bears sea-blue divine power and wields the Sea God's Trident. 342
- When occupying the Asura God divine seat, his hair turns snow-white and he wears blood-red Asura armor. 226
- His Asura state is marked by scarlet eyes, blood-red divine light, and the Asura Demon Sword. 480
Personality
Tang San is cautious, calculating, and attentive to even small disruptions in his plans. Rather than immediately escalating his confrontation with the God of Destruction, he chose to withdraw his divine consciousness and assess the unfamiliar Honkai Energy it had obtained. 113
He is strongly motivated by family and treats Tang Wutong as precious despite his stated preference for having a son to advance his broader ambitions. His efforts to protect Ah Yin's refinement of the Golden Tree and his emotional response to Tang Wutong's suffering reflect this protectiveness. 113 343 364
His composure deteriorates sharply when Xiao Wu is endangered or lost. Xiao Wu's apparent death drove him into madness during the Golden Dragon King crisis, while her rejection of him in the God Realm pushed him into a more complete Asura-fueled collapse. 228 481 482
Abilities & Skills
Twin Martial Souls
Tang San possesses Twin Martial Souls, including Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. 65 213

- Blue Silver Grass control — He can raise and direct Blue Silver Vines to restrain opponents, though Huo Yuhao's Eternal Frost Domain froze them instantly. 212 213
- Clear Sky Hammer — He can throw the hammer with immense force, but Huo Yuhao caught it using the Ice Empress's Claw. 213
- External Soul Bone — His Eight Spider Lances emerge when he burns his remaining Soul Power and Life Force in combat. 407

Sea God Authority
As Sea God, Tang San commands sea-blue divine power through the Sea God's Trident. 113 342
- Thirteen Halberds of Gold — A trident art refined to a high level through his Divine Sense Clone. 343
- Thirteenth Form: Body and Halberd as One, Stars Shift — An all-out attack created by pouring the clone's remaining divine power into the trident; Huanlong ultimately absorbed it. 344 345
- Unfixed Wind Waves — Creates rune-covered golden rings that bind and suppress targets from multiple directions. 376
- Never Return — A concentrated trident thrust with extreme piercing power. 365
Asura Divine Power
Tang San can exchange divine seats with Xiao Wu, transforming into the Asura God and wielding the Asura Blood Sword. 226
- His Asura state channels blood-red power associated with slaughter and killing intent. 435 483
- When driven mad, his Asura Divine Power becomes difficult to control and leaves him vulnerable to destabilizing interference from opposing divine forces. 482 483
Divine Sense Clones
Tang San projects Divine Sense Clones into the lower realm for investigation, protection, and contingency planning. 113 169
- A clone can reconstruct past events through residual aura and use Sea God power independently. 113 342
- One clone protected Tang Wutong and fought Lu Jingming in Mingdu. 364 365
- Such manifestations can be annihilated; Huanlong destroyed the Golden Tree clone, while Gu Yuena erased the clone opposing her. 345 376

- Xiao Wu — His beloved and wife. Her apparent loss repeatedly drives Tang San into grief and madness; after losing her memories, she identifies Huo Yuhao as her husband instead. 113 228 481
- Tang Wutong / Xiao Qi — His daughter. Tang San arranged her descent and tasked her with approaching Lu Jingming; he later sends a Divine Sense Clone to protect her. 231 364

- Huo Yuhao — Enemy who repeatedly fights Tang San in the Simulated Universe and later becomes inseparably connected to Xiao Wu. 213 441 481
- Wang Qiuer — Target of Tang San's scheme to provide nourishment for Tang Wutong. She rejects any paternal claim from him and participates in his final execution. 300 377 484
- God of Destruction — Long-standing rival in the God Realm; their silent confrontations are familiar to the other gods. 113
- Ma Hongjun — Former companion who betrays him during the Golden Dragon King battle and later opposes him as the Herrscher of Flame. 227 435
