The arc ended with Danzo exposed for engineering an ambush against the Uchiha, while Aoki returned to Ancient Tanzaku Castle with the clan’s support.

• Shisui tried to stop the Uchiha coup with Kotoamatsukami, but Danzo stole his right eye, and Shisui gave his remaining eye to Itachi before taking his own life.
• Aoki Tsuki developed the Thousand-Armed Kannon, then led Akatsuki intelligence operations in the Land of Fire and expanded the Jashin Cult through public recruitment and covert activity.
• The Jashin Cult abducted and sacrificed Kido Kōsuke and his guards, prompting Konoha and the Land of Fire’s officials to hunt for the attackers.

Aoki Tsuki expanded the Jashin Cult, exploited conflicts in Konoha and Kirigakure, and eventually seized leadership after the Jashin Mask revealed its power. As Akatsuki’s alliances shifted, Aoki Tsuki developed a devastating new technique and headed to a gathering where Kisame challenged him and Orochimaru attacked Itachi.

• Aoki Tsuki spread the Jashin Cult through the Land of Fire, investigated its compromised bases, and fought Konoha’s forces over a codebook before ordering the cult to retreat.
• As the Uchiha coup approached, Obito and Danzo moved against the clan, Itachi carried out the massacre while sparing Sasuke, and Aoki Tsuki’s cult attacked Konoha and took two masks from the Uzumaki Mask Storage Temple.
• Aoki Tsuki joined Akatsuki’s gathering, traded a White Zetsu Clone to Orochimaru for the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu, and recruited Ajisai to help at his shop.
• The Jashin Cult attacked Kirigakure amid Fuguki’s plot against Yagura, while Aoki Tsuki and Zabuza fought the Mizukage and Kisame killed Fuguki before accepting Obito’s offer to join Akatsuki.

Aoki Tsuki strengthened the Jashin Cult and Akatsuki while helping Amegakure fight Iwagakure and negotiate a ceasefire. He then eased the village’s debt crisis and began exploiting Sunagakure’s need for funds and powerful ninja.

• Aoki Tsuki defeated Kisame in a spar, then reported on Orochimaru and expanded his work with Karin, Ajisai, Zabuza, and the Jashin Cult.
• Aoki Tsuki obtained the Tsuchigumo Clan’s Fury technique, improved its formulas to gather Natural Energy, and secured Nuibari for Haku.
• After Hidan escaped and was recaptured, Kikuno Momo awakened her Sharingan and took charge of the Jashin Cult while Aoki Tsuki developed mental communication and refined his Sage Mode plans.

After the One-Tail’s extraction, Tsuki intervened in the fight against Naruto’s transformed Nine-Tails, and continued preparing Neji to rebel against Konoha and the Hyuga Main Family.

• Rasa sent Baki to investigate Kirigakure and tasked Fuki with arranging a covert partnership with Aoki Tsuki, while Tsuki expanded Akatsuki’s mission work and met Orochimaru about a future operation against Sunagakure.
• Aoki Tsuki fought Itachi in the Gobi Desert, broke free of Tsukuyomi, and forced Itachi to defend himself with Susanoo before Sasori and Deidara’s arrival ended their clash.
