"Two years ago, I told the Dean about the Mirror Shadow Beast you mentioned. The Dean said you were lying to me, so he grounded me and said that you left because his conspiracy was discovered and you abandoned me!"
After listening to Oscar's choked sobs, Lu Yu Lu Yu instantly understood the whole story, and her eyes narrowed into slits.
He patted Oscar on the back and said.
"Silly boy, why are you crying? Who told you we abandoned you and ran away?"
Oscar raised his red eyes and said, feeling wronged, "But the dean kept saying that. Every time I came to see you these past two years, no one was there. I thought..."
"What did you think? Did you think we were deliberately avoiding you?" Lu Yu interrupted him, smiling reassuringly.
"Didn't I tell you? I'm going to the Far North to find Soul Beast. I don't know when I'll be back."
Lin Tian spoke up at the opportune moment, "For the past two years, we've been to Snow Drifting City in the Far North, spending two whole years in the Frozen Forest, searching for traces of the Mirror Shadow Beast. We haven't returned to Suotuo City at all."
