Arc 58The Hidden Prince and the Divine Domain

Sun Fei uncovered the secrets of the Diablo World and began refining its Divine Domain with faith as Zenit faced Barcelona’s assault. The arc ended with Emperor Yassin revealing that Sun Fei was his son, the lost Third Prince of Zenit, and that he had been switched at birth with the old King of Chambord’s newborn son.

  • Sun Fei fought through Metal Shamo, absorbed the Dread Beasts’ energy, and discovered a one-way teleportation array as Ernst’s group investigated the spreading desert and Evil Water Swamp.
  • Sun Fei bound silver crystal souls into Mithril Battle Armor Golems, while Ernst asked him to help the Behemoth Beastmen migrate as disasters devastated their lands.
  • Sun Fei failed to condense the Power of Faith by ordinary means, then learned from the Diablo World’s remnant consciousness that he could use it to refine a complete Divine Domain.
  • Barcelona besieged Saint Petersburg, but Chambord’s defenses held, and Emperor Yassin, Hasselbaink, and Lampard fought the Barcelona Demigods to a standstill.
  • Yassin told Akinfeev that Mushnikov had saved the Third Prince during the palace upheaval and that he had hidden the child after heavenly signs marked him as a target.
  • Granero confronted Christo at the western gate, but Christo ordered crossbowmen to fire until Lampard intervened and left with Granero.
  • Yassin revealed that Sun Fei was his son with Julie and the Third Prince, whom Mushnikov had secretly switched at birth with the old King of Chambord’s newborn son.
Chapters 1434–1458 Vol. 15 Read

Ch. 1434The Desert Floating in the Sky

As Barcelona invaded Zenit’s Southern Frontier, Strategist Arjen urged Prince Dominguez to avoid a direct battle without reinforcements. In the Land of Exile, Sun Fei traveled with the Orc leaders to a vast airborne sandstorm where the Dread Beasts were beginning to riot.

  • Arjen told Dominguez that Zenit lacked the troops to defeat Barcelona in a direct battle and needed reinforcements.
  • Arjen silently hoped the King of Chambord would return in time to help defend the empire.
  • Ernst led Sun Fei and the Orc leaders toward Metal Storm and the Evil Water Swamp after learning that the Dread Beasts had begun to riot.
  • The group flew for hours before landing near a vast scarlet sandstorm that churned in place.
  • Nash explained that the storm held ancient Dread Beasts and that Orc troops and Ernst’s totem arrays kept them from escaping.

Ch. 1435Discovery in the desert (two-in-one)

Sun Fei joined Pope Ernst and twenty-five Behemoth Beastman experts on an expedition into the expanding blood-red desert to discover its cause. As Sun Fei fought through the Dread Beasts and absorbed the mysterious energy released by their deaths, he revealed a power that left Ernst wondering what he had just witnessed.

  • Fox High Priest Nash explained that the desert had been expanding rapidly and that something unusual had happened at its center, so Ernst selected twenty-five experts to venture inside with Sun Fei.
  • Sun Fei, Ernst, and the beastman experts entered the desert, where they encountered Dread Beasts and Sun Fei discovered that he alone could sense and absorb the energy released from their corpses.
  • The group fought through increasingly numerous and powerful Dread Beasts as the desert's winds grew dangerous, and Sun Fei volunteered to lead the way.
  • Sun Fei unleashed his full strength, destroying hundreds of Dread Beasts with golden punches and absorbing their energy as the group advanced faster.
  • Dozens of giant humanoid Dread Beasts attacked with magic weapons, but Sun Fei dispelled their weapons and smashed more than a dozen of them apart with his warhammer.
  • Ernst watched Sun Fei's invisible wave of power destroy the Dread Beasts' magic and seemed to recognize something extraordinary about it.

Ch. 1436Ambushed?

Sun Fei advanced to the Peak Demigod Class while traveling through Metal Shamo with Ernst and the Orc experts, then revealed he could transform into a Bill Giant Bear. After Sun Fei annihilated a massive Dread Beast ambush, Ernst warned that a hidden presence might be directing the creatures.

  • Sun Fei absorbed the energy released by defeated Dread Beasts and advanced to the Peak Demigod Class while Ernst protected him during the breakthrough.
  • Sun Fei tested his new strength as the group pressed deeper into Metal Shamo, but found that absorbing more energy barely improved his realm.
  • Sun Fei transformed into a giant silver bear, astonishing the Orc experts, and Ernst recalled that Beast God Rexxar had also used the form.
  • Ernst's warning preceded an ambush by thousands of high-ranking humanoid Dread Beasts, and Sun Fei used a wave that nullified their magic before destroying them with his warhammer.
  • Ernst said he had sensed a concealed presence watching the group, and Nash feared that someone was controlling the Dread Beasts.

Ch. 1437The Altar and the Crisis

Sun Fei and Ernst explored the Metal Shamo, where they found blood-colored altars that spawned coordinated Dread Beast armies, while Sun Fei healed and strengthened the orcs and copied a teleportation array. Meanwhile, Dominguez ordered a retreat from the Barcelona army, but five powerful Barcelona experts reached his headquarters and attacked him.

  • Sun Fei and Ernst found an ancient blood-red altar and concluded it had appeared recently, likely connected to the Dread Beast ambushes.
  • When O'Neal was badly wounded by blood magic, Sun Fei healed him and used a paladin aura to restore and strengthen the orcs.
  • Ernst sensed danger ahead, and a newly appeared altar sent out Dread Beast armies; Sun Fei discovered its array was a one-way spatial teleportation array and copied its runes before it self-destructed.
  • Ernst proposed investigating the nearby Evil Water Swamp after the group rested, and Sun Fei shared food with the orcs.
  • Dominguez ordered Zenit's Southern Frontier army to retreat as the Barcelonans advanced, but five Moon Class Great Perfection experts found his headquarters and killed the officers sent to stop them.
  • A Barcelona expert formed a giant Dou Qi palm and reached for Dominguez.

Ch. 1438A Savior Descends from the Sky and the Evil Water Swamp

Dominguez and Old Arjen were nearly overwhelmed by five Barcelona masters until a mysterious man appeared and struck Jeffrén down. Meanwhile, Sun Fei and Ernst reached the Evil Water Swamp, where Sun Fei tested its deadly vapor and learned that an unusual creature could survive there.

  • Old Arjen tried to protect Dominguez from the Barcelona masters, but Dominguez pushed him aside and revealed his Early-Tier Full Moon Class strength.
  • Jeffrén and four other Barcelona masters attacked Dominguez, who was quickly restrained and left unable to defend himself.
  • A mysterious man appeared in a flash of lightning and knocked Jeffrén unconscious with one punch.
  • Sun Fei and Ernst emerged at the Evil Water Swamp, and Ernst explained that its clear water released vapor that could kill even Moon Class Great Perfection masters.
  • Sun Fei tested the vapor with a magic sword, which was quickly ruined, then asked whether anything lived in the swamp.
  • High Priest Nash of the Fox said a peculiar species could survive in the swamp, though it was not a Dread Beast.

Ch. 1439Strange Beasts

Sun Fei watched the Orc Clan powerhouses hunt the strange beasts of the Evil Water Swamp and discovered that their soul fluctuations came from silver crystals embedded in their flesh. Pope Ernst explained that the crystals were useless to the orcs and could regenerate the beasts’ meat after a year in the lake, leaving Sun Fei curious about how they worked.

  • Fox High Priest Nash explained that the strange beasts were weak creatures that survived in the Evil Water Swamp.
  • Nowitzki crushed a Dread Beast over the lake, and its blood drew countless strange beasts out of the water.
  • Nowitzki, O'Neal, and the other Orc Clan powerhouses chopped up the strange beasts for meat and tossed their silver crystals back into the lake.
  • Sun Fei retrieved a silver crystal and found that its soul fluctuations had vanished, though it was exceptionally hard.
  • Pope Ernst told Sun Fei that the crystals were useless and could produce fresh meat again after a year in the lake.

Ch. 1440Sun Fei's Plan (Two-in-One Chapter)

Sun Fei discovered that the silver crystals contained intelligent beings and persuaded one to pledge its race to him in exchange for stronger bodies and power. After the Behemoth Beastmen left the Evil Water Swamp, Sun Fei trained until his Demigod realm stabilized, then prepared to begin his plan with the crystal and a battle-armor puppet.

  • Ernst explained that silver crystals produced edible meat but released deadly gas outside the Evil Water Swamp, so Sun Fei used spiritual force to reveal the soul inside one crystal.
  • Sun Fei threatened the silver crystal, learned that its race wanted stronger bodies, and secured its promise of loyalty in exchange for power before storing it away.
  • Ernst led the twenty-five Orc Clan warriors away with large stores of Meat Beast meat, while Sun Fei stayed behind and claimed he wanted to train in the Evil Water Swamp.
  • Sun Fei returned to Metal Shamo and fought Dread Beasts to absorb mysterious energy until his Demigod realm stabilized the following day.
  • Ernst sensed Sun Fei's breakthrough and hoped it would bring their plan closer to completion.
  • Sun Fei summoned Basturk to guard him, then took out a mithril battle-armor puppet and the silver crystal.

Ch. 1441Named Number One

Sun Fei modified a Mithril Battle Armor Golem to house the silver crystal’s soul and bound it to him with a contract. After naming the new servant Number One, he watched it struggle to adjust to its powerful body, while Bastürk worried that he might become useless.

  • Sun Fei dismantled a Mithril Battle Armor Golem, modified its magic circuits, and reassembled it with a space for the silver crystal.
  • Sun Fei offered the silver crystal a Soul Master-Servant Contract, and the crystal agreed to trade its freedom for the powerful body.
  • Sun Fei bound the silver crystal to the contract, named it Number One, and placed it in the Golem’s core.
  • Number One tried walking in its new body but fell and asked for time to adjust to its weight.
  • Bastürk feared Number One would make him dispensable and began thinking about how to prove his value to Sun Fei.

Ch. 1442Only One Sword

Sun Fei gave the silver crystal souls Mithril Battle Armor Golem bodies, trained them under Dark Demon Armor Bastürk, and tested the first golem’s formidable strength. On the battlefield, Frank Lampard appeared to protect Zenit, killed four Barcelona powerhouses with one sword strike, and faced Pedro’s attack.

  • The silver crystal adapted to its Mithril Battle Armor Golem body, and Sun Fei taught it how to control the armor’s magic arrays.
  • Sun Fei assigned Dark Demon Armor Bastürk to train the golem and promised him command of the Mithril Battle Armor Golem legion if he succeeded.
  • Sun Fei bound twenty-five more silver crystal souls to Mithril Battle Armor Golems and sent them to train with Bastürk.
  • Sun Fei sparred with the first golem and found that its strength, durability, regeneration, and intelligence made it an exceptionally powerful fighter.
  • Frank Lampard appeared as Zenit withdrew, killed Jeffrén, and then slew four Barcelona powerhouses with a single sword strike.
  • Pedro attacked Frank Lampard from above, and Frank met him with a sword strike while Hasselbaink warned him not to underestimate Pedro.

Ch. 1443The Zenit People's Victory

Lampard and Hasselbaink helped the Zenit Southern Frontier army defeat Pedro’s Barcelona forces, though Pedro escaped and Alves executed thousands of routed soldiers. As Barcelona sent more troops and Zenit prepared reinforcements, Sun Fei oversaw the birth of a hundred Mithril War Soul warriors and sent Basturk to gather silver crystals before returning to the City of Behemoths.

  • Lampard wielded his newly empowered Demigod Dou Weapon alongside Hasselbaink, and the pair gained the upper hand against Pedro until he used a potion to strengthen his flames.
  • Hasselbaink revealed his Demigod Dou Weapon, but Pedro struck Lampard with a magic scroll and escaped after the Necromancer’s blade assault left an opening.
  • Hasselbaink slaughtered Barcelona soldiers after Pedro fled, and the Zenit army routed the remaining Barcelona forces within thirty minutes.
  • Alves ordered nearly ten thousand retreating Barcelona soldiers executed, while historical records noted the battle’s outcome and the arrival of further Barcelona and Zenit troops.
  • At the Evil Water Swamp, Sun Fei celebrated the first hundred Mithril War Soul warriors and ordered Basturk to bring back twenty thousand silver crystals before dawn.
  • Sun Fei prepared to return to the City of Behemoths.

Ch. 1444A Great Upheaval in the Land of Exile

Sun Fei returned from the Evil Water Swamp to find the Behemoth Beastmen suffering a rapidly worsening crisis, with expanding deserts, rising numbers of Dread Beasts, and a city gripped by panic. He was summoned to Pope Ernst’s crowded gathering, where a Hyena Clan beastman blamed him for the disasters, revealing divisions among the Behemoth Beastmen.

  • Dark Demon Armor Bastürk sent the hundred Mithril War Souls to persuade the silver crystals in the Evil Water Swamp to swear allegiance to Master Alexander in exchange for powerful bodies.
  • The silver crystals eagerly agreed to serve Master Alexander after seeing the Mithril War Souls’ strength and mobility, while Dick warned them that they would have to sign a Master-Servant Contract.
  • Sun Fei discovered that the Dread Beasts had multiplied and the desert had expanded by more than two hundred kilometers, forcing tens of thousands of Behemoth Beastmen to flee their homes.
  • Sun Fei returned to the city and found it in turmoil, with closed shops, fleeing families, and collapsed buildings and temples in its western district.
  • Fox High Priest Nash brought Sun Fei to Pope Ernst’s crowded tent, where a Hyena Clan beastman accused him of bringing disaster and Woods rebuked the accuser.

Ch. 1445The Worst Crisis in a Thousand Years

Sun Fei learned that a wave of disasters had devastated the Behemoth Beastmen and that their leaders were planning a migration. Pope Ernst asked him to help move the races within two months and prepare to become the next pope, while his own health rapidly declined.

  • High Priest Fox Nash told Sun Fei that disasters had killed more than a million Behemoth Beastmen, destroyed a Black Iron race, and triggered famine and rumors blaming humans.
  • Sun Fei learned that the Ten Golden Races and most powerful Silver races supported migration, though the larger gathering had not reached a final decision.
  • Sun Fei found Pope Ernst aged and frail, and Ernst said his life was nearing its end.
  • Ernst asked Sun Fei to use Chambord City's long-distance teleportation technology to help the Behemoth Beastmen migrate within two months, and Sun Fei agreed.
  • Ernst told Sun Fei that the new pope would be chosen within ten-odd days and that Sun Fei was destined to take the role, then entrusted him to High Priest Fox Nash.

Ch. 1446Mobilization Before the Migration

Sun Fei received texts about condensing a Divinity and gathered silver crystals and Mithril War Souls while the Behemoth Beastmen prepared to return to Azeroth. The story left the orcs increasingly persuaded to migrate and support Chambord City, as Alexander’s reputation grew through staged disaster relief.

  • Ernst gave Sun Fei a storage ring filled with books about condensing a Divinity, and Sun Fei complained about the mountain of reading.
  • Dark Demon Armor Bastürk returned with 101 Mithril War Souls and reported that he had gathered twenty thousand silver crystals without force.
  • Sun Fei gave Bastürk confidential instructions, and Bastürk led the Mithril War Souls away to carry them out.
  • As natural disasters intensified, the Ten Golden Races and forty-one silver races urged the Behemoth Beastmen to migrate back to Azeroth, while Ernst’s divination supported the plan.
  • The Behemoth Beastmen learned of their alliance with Chambord City and heard claims that Alexander had Behemoth ancestry and Golden Behemoth blood.
  • Golden-armored warriors rescued orcs from disasters and supplied them with food, raising Alexander’s prestige among the Behemoth Beastmen.

Ch. 1447The Road to Godhood (1)

Sun Fei prepared for the Behemoth Beastmen’s migration and then secluded himself to attempt to become a True God. He sensed an enormous flow of faith from people across Azeroth, leaving him surprised by how many believers he had.

  • Sun Fei finished reading Ernst’s ancient books, rested with the Valkyrie, and heard Dark Demon Armor Bastürk’s report before sending him back to help disaster-struck areas.
  • The Beast God Temple sent four Demigod-level powerhouses to accompany Torres to Chambord City, while Sun Fei tasked Torres with preparing teleportation infrastructure and settling land for the Behemoth Beastmen.
  • Sun Fei planned to clear the Endless Forest Sea and the undead-held Anzhi Empire, and to seek Zenit territory for the migrating Behemoth Beastmen.
  • Sun Fei secured his bedchamber and began his attempt to attain True Godhood by sensing the Power of Faith.
  • Sun Fei discovered that an immense Power of Faith came from Chambord City, Black-Robed Holy Temple believers, and people across Zenit and other regions, then noticed something strange.

Ch. 1448The Road to Godhood (2)

Sun Fei tried to turn his domain into a world with the Power of Faith, but the faith vanished each time, leading him to suspect his Diablo World power was the cause. He returned to Diablo World and entered the mysterious reward portal, where its long-silent voice finally addressed him.

  • Sun Fei gathered the Power of Faith flowing to him and attempted to integrate it into his domain, but it disappeared when he tried to condense it into points.
  • Sun Fei repeated the process and, after the Power of Faith vanished again, suspected that his strength from the Diablo World made ordinary methods of godhood unusable.
  • Sun Fei returned to Diablo World after a month away and appeared in the hall where he had defeated Baal.
  • Sun Fei entered the purple portal to the reward world, where the mysterious voice greeted him and said they could finally talk properly.

Ch. 1449The Road to Godhood (3)

Sun Fei questioned the mysterious voice about its identity, the Diablo World, and why he had been chosen, but it withheld most answers. The voice revealed that the peaceful world beyond the purple portal was his reward for clearing all seven classes: a complete Divine Domain world that could make him its master.

  • Sun Fei asked the mysterious voice who it was, and it said it was a thousand-year-old remnant consciousness that would soon disappear.
  • The voice explained that the Diablo World was a real world created by powerful beings on the Azeroth Continent, not a computer game, though it withheld further details.
  • Sun Fei asked why he had been chosen and why he could absorb mysterious energy, but the voice teased that he would soon learn the truth and said he was beyond comparison with mortals, gods, and demons.
  • Sun Fei asked about the world beyond the purple portal, and the voice revealed it was his reward for clearing all seven Diablo World classes.
  • The voice said the portal led to a complete, perfect Divine Domain world that Sun Fei could master at once.

Ch. 1450The path to godhood (4)

Sun Fei learned that mastering the power of faith would let him refine the Divine Domain world and inherit power that had originally been his, then began the dangerous process. Meanwhile, Granero watched Barcelona’s army surround Saint Petersburg and reflected on Zenit’s devastating defeat.

  • The mysterious voice told Sun Fei that he needed the power of faith to refine the Divine Domain world and warned that he could not advance beyond peak Demigod Class if the process failed.
  • The voice explained that Sun Fei’s experience points were primordial divine power and that the power he had gained was his to reclaim.
  • Sun Fei followed the voice’s instructions and began infusing the Divine Domain world with power of faith, entering a state of complete oblivion.
  • Granero surveyed the Barcelona army outside Saint Petersburg and recalled how quickly it had conquered Zenit’s Southern Frontier and defeated its forces.

Ch. 1451The Sun in the Dark

Granero recalled how the battered Zenit army retreated to Saint Petersburg and how Chambord City’s magic and weapons helped the capital withstand Barcelona’s siege. As the fighting continued and Zenit’s prospects seemed bleak, Granero wondered where Sun Fei was.

  • Granero watched the defeated Zenit army arrive at Saint Petersburg, and the city hurriedly prepared its defenses.
  • The Barcelona army attacked the capital, but its magical shield and Chambord City’s weapons held off the assault and inflicted heavy losses.
  • Granero learned that Zenit’s Southern Frontier campaign had collapsed after three more Barcelona Demigod-level masters arrived and routed the imperial army.
  • Chambord City’s warriors protected the retreating troops, while Lampard was gravely wounded and more than half of Chambord’s elite soldiers were killed or injured.
  • Granero wondered why Yassin and Alexander had not intervened and hoped Sun Fei would appear to save Zenit.

Ch. 1452Demigod Battle

Three Barcelona Demigods attacked Saint Petersburg’s magic barrier, while Emperor Yassin, Hasselbaink, and Frank Lampard rose to defend the city. The battle began with Lampard unexpectedly trapping two of the enemy Demigods in spheres of silver light.

  • Busquets, Alves, and Masiqielanuo appeared above the Barcelona camp and began testing Saint Petersburg’s magic barrier.
  • Granero realized Busquets was searching for a weakness in the defensive formation, while Zenit’s crossbow bolts failed to reach the Demigods.
  • Emperor Yassin, Hasselbaink, and Frank Lampard appeared beyond the barrier, restoring the Zenit soldiers’ courage.
  • The three Zenit powerhouses attacked, and Lampard fired two streaks of silver light that imprisoned the Barcelona Demigods on either side.

Ch. 1453Kill You in Three Moves

Emperor Yassin and Hasselbaink fought Masiqielanuo and Busquets while Lampard used star power and golden armor to face Alves, bringing the battle to a stalemate. The Barcelona warriors withdrew, but Busquets tried to persuade Yassin to serve Barcelona, and Yassin ended the chapter by taunting Alves that he could kill him in three moves.

  • Emperor Yassin and Hasselbaink attacked Masiqielanuo and Busquets, while Busquets recovered from his wounds with the aid of his companion and potions.
  • Lampard summoned the power of the stars, donned golden armor, and fought Alves with a Demigod Dou Weapon, matching the Demigod despite his lower realm.
  • Emperor Yassin stopped the battle, and Masiqielanuo, Busquets, and Alves withdrew after neither side gained an advantage.
  • Busquets praised Zenit's strength and urged Emperor Yassin to end the war and enter Barcelona's service, but Yassin refused.
  • Emperor Yassin declared that he could kill Alves in three moves, and Alves's anger gave way to sudden fear.

Ch. 1454Empress of Light

Granero questioned the decision to give Christo command of the western gate while Barcelonan forces gathered outside Saint Petersburg. In the imperial palace, Emperor Yassin spoke with Akinfeev about their long friendship and recalled the loss of Empress Julie and their missing third son.

  • Granero estimated that about three hundred thousand Barcelonan troops had assembled outside Saint Petersburg and noted that Barcelona could not send more forces north.
  • Granero learned that Christo had replaced General Di Santo as commander of the western gate and went to investigate the surprising appointment.
  • Akinfeev asked Emperor Yassin whether he truly trusted Christo with the western gate’s defenses.
  • Emperor Yassin reminisced with Akinfeev about their decades of service and their eight fallen companions.
  • Emperor Yassin recalled that Empress Julie had died and their third son had disappeared during the upheaval twenty years earlier.

Ch. 1455Memories of the Past

Emperor Yassin revealed to Akinfeev that Mushnikov had secretly stayed in Saint Petersburg and saved the Third Prince during the palace attack twenty years earlier. Akinfeev learned that the prince had survived, and Yassin began explaining why he had not brought him back.

  • Emperor Yassin recalled the loss of Empress Julie and the disappearance of his newborn Third Prince, whom he had never forgotten.
  • Emperor Yassin told Akinfeev that Mushnikov had stayed behind in Saint Petersburg instead of accompanying him on the mission twenty years earlier.
  • Emperor Yassin revealed that Mushnikov had thwarted the attackers and saved the Third Prince during the palace assault.
  • Akinfeev reacted with joy and asked where the Third Prince had been and why Yassin had not returned him to the capital.
  • Emperor Yassin began recounting how he discovered a secret signal Mushnikov had left in the palace four days after his return.

Ch. 1456The Third Prince's Whereabouts

Emperor Yassin told Akinfeev how Mushnikov rescued the third prince during the palace upheaval and brought him to Chambord City. He explained that he had kept his son’s survival secret because powerful enemies sought to kill him, and that the child’s brain injury led Yassin to abandon plans to train him as Zenit’s ruler.

  • Emperor Yassin explained that Mushnikov left signals while fleeing north with the third prince and died of his wounds after reaching Chambord City.
  • Yassin said he later found Mushnikov, Julie, and his child by following the signals.
  • Akinfeev wondered why Yassin had not brought the third prince back to the imperial capital, and Yassin recalled the heavenly signs at the child’s birth.
  • Yassin revealed that the signs had prompted the palace upheaval and that he had hidden the child to protect him from a powerful organization.
  • Yassin said he secretly watched his son but discovered the boy had suffered brain damage and lacked martial aptitude.
  • Yassin explained that he had stopped trying to raise the third prince as a ruler and hoped he could instead live peacefully as an ordinary man.

Ch. 1457That's Him

Emperor Yassin revealed to Akinfeev that Alexander, the King of Chambord, was his long-lost third prince. At Saint Petersburg’s west gate, Granero confronted Fourth Prince Christo over his conduct during the siege, but Christo trapped him under the aim of magic crossbows.

  • Emperor Yassin told Akinfeev that Alexander was his son with Julie, the third prince of the Zenit Empire.
  • Akinfeev celebrated Alexander’s extraordinary talent, then questioned what had happened to the old king of Chambord City’s son.
  • Granero arrived at the west gate and rebuked Christo for summoning the other gate commanders while Barcelona’s forces threatened the city.
  • Christo ordered his soldiers to seize Granero, and magic crossbows were aimed at Granero and his men.
  • Christo taunted Granero, claiming that even Dominguez could not stop him from having Granero shot.

Ch. 1458Chambord City's Weapons Were Not to Be Aimed at Their Own People

Fourth Prince Christo tried to force Granero to kneel by aiming Chambord City's defense crossbows at him, but Frank Lampard intervened and led Granero away. Emperor Yassin then explained to Akinfeev how the third prince had been saved through a child-swapping scheme and expressed guilt over the death of the old King of Chambord's son.

  • Christo ordered the crossbowmen to fire on Granero after Granero insulted him and challenged him to give the order.
  • Frank Lampard stepped out, declared that Chambord City's weapons were not meant to kill their own people, and made clear that he stood with Granero.
  • Lampard and Granero left with their companions, while Christo berated an officer who suggested sending the Judgment Knights after Lampard.
  • Emperor Yassin told Akinfeev that Brother Mushnikov had secretly swapped the third prince with the old King of Chambord's newborn son to protect the prince from his enemies.
  • Yassin acknowledged that the scheme had cost the old king's son his life and said he had always tried to repay the old King of Chambord by caring for his small kingdom.
