Sun Fei awakened as Alexander of Chambord and used Diablo’s powers to help repel a siege, save the wounded, and strengthen his hold on the kingdom. As a new enemy assault approached, he confronted Bazel over Gejir’s refusal to defend the city.
Sun Fei strengthened Chambord City’s defenses while developing his Diablo World powers, then led an armored force onto the bridge to break the enemy siege. His fighters destroyed the siege ladders and several boulder launchers, but Langde confronted them with Explosive Flame Slash.
Sun Fei defended Chambord City, punished the imperial delegation’s attackers, and began rebuilding the kingdom’s government and prison. As he prepared for Zenit’s martial contests, he uncovered a hidden ruin beneath the city and learned that the eldest princess had taken an interest in him.
Sun Fei strengthened Chambord City, explored new powers and resources in the Diablo World, and confronted the Holy Church while preparing for his coronation. As Elena and the Rogues arrived in Chambord, foreign observers began closing in, and the arc ended with Sun Fei heading to meet the eldest princess.
Sun Fei uncovered a conspiracy against Princess Tanasha as the investiture ceremony became a battle involving Paris, Arshavin, and hidden assassins. After Angela died and the attackers’ deceptions were exposed, Sun Fei killed Obinna, He Shengzhen, and a disguised assassin, then revealed that he had trapped the summit.
Sun Fei secured his rule in Chambord City, rebuilt its government, and strengthened Elena while a coalition of nine kingdoms marched against the city. Chambord defeated the coalition, captured its kings, and demanded reparations, leaving Sun Fei to consolidate his victory and return to his loved ones.
Sun Fei explored the God and Demon Ruins, prepared Chambord City for his return, and led its army toward the Martial Combat Competition. After Black Rock City enslaved Chambord citizens and attacked the expedition, Sun Fei defeated its forces, freed the prisoners, and resumed his Diablo World quest by killing Duriel.
Sun Fei armed Chambord’s leaders with Celestial Cloths, destroyed Blood Blade, and defeated Chris Sutton while escorting Princess Tanasha toward the imperial capital. As Sun Fei’s expedition neared home, a black-armored army attacked Chambord, where its defenders fought to protect the returning mine slaves.
Sun Fei reached the imperial capital, took Inzaghi as his disciple, and faced new challengers and a covert attack on Paris. The stretch ended with Sun Fei intervening as Blood Blade mercenaries tried to take Isabella from the King of Byzantium.
Sun Fei defeated Krude and fought off the Judgment Knights, then survived an ambush and returned to find Chambord’s influence growing amid imperial turmoil. He investigated a crater in the Moro Mountains and identified traces of the mysterious expert who had attacked him.
Sun Fei destroyed the Blood Blade Mercenary Corps, claimed a share of its spoils, and fought the imperial princes’ allies when they tried to seize more. As the empire’s political crisis deepened, Knights’ Hall cavalry provoked Chambord and met Sun Fei’s warning with a powerful sword imprint.
Sun Fei strengthened Chambord, trained under a mysterious master, and led his fighters through the northern regional competition. As Spartak invaded Zenit and the empire prepared a new legion, Sun Fei stayed out of the succession struggle while Tanasha departed for the campaign.
Sun Fei prepared Chambord’s fighters for the Empire Ranking Competition, recruited Robben, and watched his companions advance through increasingly brutal duels. After a tense encounter with Kaká and Baresi over Angela, a mysterious assassin attacked Baresi, leaving the battle unresolved.
Sun Fei killed Baresi, won the Empire Ranking Competition, and secured new status and military authority for Chambord. As he reached Martial Saint Mountain to witness Krasic and Iaquinta’s battle, Iaquinta attacked him and Krasic intervened.
Krasic defeated the invading masters but died from injuries that could not be healed, leaving Sun Fei to take up his mission and lead the Wolf Fang Legion. After capturing the surviving conspirators, Sun Fei marched toward Ajax, where Koeman’s cavalry attacked the vanguard and demanded to face its true commander.
Sun Fei rescued the Wolf Fang Legion’s vanguard from defeat, broke the Ajax siege, and took control of Twin Flag City. He punished nobles who had abandoned the city and organized its defense, while a green signal rose from the walls toward the Ajax camp.
Sun Fei burned Ajax provisions, held Twin Flag City through the siege, and discovered that the wells concealed a route to the Palace of the Sea God. He reunited with the Wolf Fang Legion after securing the Ancient City of Death, while Fairenton learned of the underwater ruins and prepared to confront the Zenitians.
Sun Fei defended Twin Flag City from the Ajax army and the red-robed master, then sought the Worldstone to awaken Angela and Elena. As the Church arrived and powerful outsiders gathered near the desert waters, the war and the search for the God and Demon Altar remained unresolved.
Sun Fei broke through to Moon Class, recruited Hasselbaink and Arthur, and entered the God and Demon Palace to search for the altar that could save Angela and Elena. As Sun Fei explored the palace and gathered survivors, the wounded King of Black Sand returned to attack Twin Flag City.
Sun Fei fought his way through the God and Demon Palace, claimed a place at the Elemental Altar, and entered its hidden world. There he found the God and Demon Altar and began restoring it with the corrupted Worldstone.
