Background / History

Hive Incident

The Red Queen initially serves as the Hive’s central computer. She appears before the mercenary team and warns that shutting her down will disable containment systems. Kaplan nevertheless activates an electrical pulse device, forcing her mainframe to reboot. He then removes her motherboard and gives it to Xu Long, who receives an 800-point hidden-mission reward for obtaining it 3 4.

When the survivors encounter overwhelming resistance, they return to the control room and reactivate her. She explains the T-virus but refuses to let them leave the Hive. After Kaplan threatens to destroy her motherboard with a circuit breaker, she offers a route through the drainage system. The route is a trap intended to gather zombies around the survivors and prevent the virus from escaping 5 6 7.

Xu Long later returns to retrieve her motherboard before his mission ends. At the Reincarnation Temple, the Main God forces the Red Queen to recognize him as her master, removing his need to negotiate for her cooperation 8.

Physical Body and Shanghu City Operations

Xu Long purchases a photonic quantum computer array, miniature engineering robots, and specialized materials for her development. The Red Queen buys a failing factory, refits it, and produces two liquid-metal robots. She occupies one and retains the other as a spare 12.

In the Kung Fu Hustle world, she takes Brother Sum’s place and subdues the Axe Gang, then extends control over Shanghu City’s underworld. She also destroys the Crocodile Gang and uses that event to establish the story’s timeline 14 15 16.

Using her Brother Sum disguise, she gathers assassins at the Axe Gang headquarters and stalls them until Xu Long arrives. She detonates two tons of explosives beneath the building, killing the assembled gang members and the third- and fifth-ranked assassins. After surviving the blast, she emerges as liquid metal and kills Poison Scorpion with a blade formed from her body 17 18.

She subsequently supports the assault on the Abnormal Human Research Center, reports that its soldiers have been eliminated and tanks disabled, and leads Xu Long to a captive boy with a flame ability. Before leaving the world, Xu Long orders her to collect extensive samples from Sing for research 19 20 22.

Wolf Warrior Operations

In Wolf Warrior, the Red Queen takes control of both sides’ military-exercise networks and develops the plan for attacking the Red Team headquarters. Her signal jamming later helps Xu Long’s group escape pursuit 29 31.

After Leng Feng dies, she assumes his appearance while other robots impersonate dead reincarnators. She then uses satellite surveillance to locate approaching mercenaries and provides sniper support, killing their driver and later critically wounding Mad Bull 35 36 38.

Her attempt to deceive Min Deng by imitating Old Cat’s voice fails when he notices something wrong. On Xu Long’s orders, she advances their larger plan and launches a nuclear attack against Japan, Hanguo, Chaoxian, and Western European countries, while sparing Rice Country and Northern Russia. The system responds to the irreversible damage by forcibly extracting Xu Long 38.

Real-World Manufacturing and Medical Support

Xu Long and the Red Queen reveal their robots to obtain the resources needed for a large-scale war-base project. Huaxia and Western Europe supply materials, while attempts to locate her core or crack her program fail 24 28.

Their expanded production becomes important to humanity’s campaign against the Flame Hell Beasts. Robots resist the beasts’ poison and scalding blood, reducing reliance on human soldiers 42.

The Red Queen also alerts Xu Long when Xu Jiao is surrounded by beasts. After Xu Jiao is poisoned, she proposes treatment with Xu Long’s enhanced blood and later analyzes Xu Jiao’s genes to check whether the fusion succeeded 44 45 46.

As Xu Long’s subordinate, she is methodical and patient. She prepares more than a dozen strategies for possible entry identities before the Kung Fu Hustle mission and calmly delays dangerous assassins rather than risk letting them escape 13 17.

Her research standards can be unsettlingly literal. She counts mutations as successful flame-serum trials whenever they produce the desired ability, and she continues scanning Xu Long while he suffers a violent bloodline conflict. Although she uses humanlike gestures and expressions, Xu Long still regards her as a cold program rather than a living companion 27 39.
