Bibi Dong was Qian Xunji’s disciple and suffered sexual assault at his hands. The experience left her deeply averse to secret-chamber coercion and convinced her that personal strength and careful planning were essential to protecting her position 3 4 24.

She requested Bai Guyue as her guard, prompting Qian Xunji to have him forcibly brought to Spirit Hall. Over the following years, Bai Guyue became her confidant. His criticism helped her abandon her lingering attachment to Yu Xiaogang and question his supposedly original Martial Soul theories. By the opening chapter, she had devoured Qian Xunji and succeeded him as Pope 1 4 9.

Marriage Proposal and Breakthrough

Immediately after becoming Pope, Bibi Dong announced her intention to make Bai Guyue her papal consort. When he refused and attempted to leave, she ordered Yue Guan and Gui Mei to keep him inside Spirit Hall while accommodating his other requests. She delayed the wedding until she could become a Titled Douluo and withstand the Worship Hall’s opposition 1.

To accelerate her plans, she threatened to abandon the Rakshasa inheritance unless its god lent her a divine weapon. After securing the Rakshasa Demon Scythe, she followed Bai Guyue to Sunset Forest, where he selected two Immortal Herbs that raised her to Level 90 2 5 7 8.

In the Star Dou Great Forest, she lured a Hundred-Thousand-Year Death Spider Emperor into an ambush. Yue Guan and Gui Mei immobilized it, allowing her to kill it with the scythe. The weapon then amplified her anger into a frenzy; Bai Guyue restored her composure by threatening to abandon her. Absorbing the beast’s ring and paired arm bones subsequently brought her to peak Level 93 17 18 19 20.

Securing the Wedding and Succession

Bibi Dong viewed her papacy as a temporary arrangement intended to last only until Qian Renxue matured. Rather than surrender power to the Qian family, she planned for Bai Guyue or their future child to succeed her 8 9.

She obtained the Worship Hall’s acceptance of her marriage by arranging breakthrough opportunities for Golden Crocodile Douluo and Azure Luan Douluo using Bai Guyue’s Immortal Herbs. The wedding took place before assembled guests, with Yue Guan announcing the ceremony’s completion 23 33.

Afterward, Bai Guyue exchanged an herb for Qian Renxue for the Seven Great Enshrined’s support, including approval of the couple’s future choice of Holy Son or Holy Daughter. Bibi Dong regarded this agreement as a foundation for their family’s eventual control of Spirit Hall 38.

Rakshasa Trials and Motherhood

The Rakshasa God assigned Bibi Dong a First Trial requiring one hundred sexual encounters with Bai Guyue in the secret chamber within a year, each leaving him unable to get out of bed. She completed it in half a year, then protested when its rewards omitted Soul Power levels. By invoking Bai Guyue’s divine backing, she secured a promise that her next trial would include them 42 52 53.

On the day she completed the First Trial, the Goddess of Life identified Bibi Dong’s nausea as pregnancy. Bibi Dong initially questioned whether a divine blessing might endanger the children, but welcomed it after learning that it would improve their health and physique. She later went into labor expecting a boy and a girl; subsequent chapters identify the children as Bai Qingyun and Bai Qingyao 52 53 56 60.

Strengthening Her Faction and Second Martial Soul

Bibi Dong helped subdue the Sky Azure Bull Python during Bai Guyue’s Seventh Soul Ring hunt. Rather than kill it immediately, the group brought it to Spirit Hall for her Soul-Devouring Spider Emperor to absorb later 62 63 64.

She also rewarded Yue Guan, Gui Mei, and Dugu Bo with Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones, took Hu Liena as her disciple, and arranged for her to live in the Pope’s Palace. Li Yuan’er’s herb-assisted breakthrough further strengthened the Pope’s faction 66 67.

After obtaining six rings for her second Martial Soul, Bibi Dong began absorbing the Silent Spider Emperor’s Hundred Thousand Year ring. Later, at Blue Tyrant Academy, she overpowered Liu Erlong and challenged her devotion to Yu Xiaogang before Bai Guyue wagered for control of the academy 69 70 71.

Personality

Bibi Dong is intensely possessive of Bai Guyue and repeatedly disregards his refusals. She confines him before their wedding, uses forced kisses and threats to secure cooperation, and often interprets his resistance as concealed affection. She later openly delights in his inability to leave her 1 3 4 5 28 39.

Her affection also includes trust, generosity, and genuine investment in his advancement. She confides her frustrations to him, offers him both Hundred Thousand Year arm bones, and celebrates his divine inheritance without jealousy. Although she frequently interrupts him with affection, she recognizes the importance of his cultivation and God Trials 4 16 18 45.

As Pope, she is ambitious, calculating, and confrontational. She uses cultivation resources as political leverage, refuses to defer automatically to the Worship Hall, and intends to end the Qian family’s control of the papacy. Betrayal is something she explicitly warns her subordinates against 8 20 21 23.

Her behavior toward her children is sharply divided. She threatens to disown Qian Renxue unless she accepts Bai Guyue as her father, while eagerly planning the twins’ upbringing and future. When considering the twins’ divine blessing, she places their safe birth and health above additional power 38 51 52 53.
