Lu Yingheng saved Alice’s father and the entire Thymefield Family, securing the peace they subsequently enjoyed. Alice admired him from childhood and secretly fell in love with him, but her shyness kept her from admitting her feelings. Her memories of his kindness included him brushing snow from her hair and taking her through New Eridu’s streets during his spare time 6 9.

During a shopping outing at Lumina Square, Alice unexpectedly rushed into Yingheng’s arms. Embarrassed by her own boldness, she apologized and changed the subject to her father’s invitation for him to visit. Before leaving, Yingheng encouraged her to become less shy so she could make friends 4.

Yingheng’s Disappearance and Apparent Death

While Yingheng staged his death in Crete Hollow, Alice experienced an unexplained feeling of emptiness. After Vivian discovered that he was not responding to messages, Alice sought help from her father. Leoniel could identify no mission that would explain his disappearance 5 6.
