As the academicians searched for a countermeasure, Daozi revealed the ancient conflict between galactic consciousnesses and the origins of the Snow Tribe’s war.

• The Slaughterers killed the Fish Horse Star scientists, while Gao Jianchuan’s fleet breached the fortress’s containment sphere and Hu Yu brought experimental Expellers into the fight.
• Wen Zhonghua’s Conquerors destroyed tens of trillions of Fish Horse Star warships, and Gao Jianchuan escaped the fortress with data that helped the allied fleets target its weakened section.
• The Yun San leader and Demon Scorpion plotted to delay humanity, while Li Shun brought hundreds of trillions of insects to Boötes and joined the assault on the fortress.
• The allied fleets forced their way into the fortress, but the Fish Horse Star and Mechanical Civilizations destroyed their forces as an insect entered the containment sphere and Li Shun bargained with Ci Ma.

Hu Yu uncovered and defeated the Yun San Civilization’s betrayal while a hidden force sought the Milky Way’s central black hole. Daozi identified the shadow behind Yun San as an earlier Nebula Consciousness, leaving Hu Yu with a new lead into the galaxy’s growing crisis.

• Daozi explained the origins of galactic life and warned that the Fish Horse Star Civilization’s fortress threatened the central black hole as its research neared completion.
• Hu Yu rallied allied civilizations to defend the central black hole while the Fish Horse Star Civilization’s fortress advanced toward the Milky Way.
• The Yun San leader lured Hu Yu to Fang Wei’s insect-infested planet, where the Insect Emperor struck Hu Yu unconscious and an unidentified fleet carried him away.

The fortress reached the galactic black hole as Li Shun arrived with a massive fleet and moved to seize the Insect Emperor’s consciousness.

• The Demon Scorpion leader used his people’s Consciousness Field energy to destroy the Nebula Consciousness entity, and Zu later gave his energy to help the Demon Scorpion people recover.
• The Secondary Universe merged into the greater universe, and Academician Zeng and Academician Gao Zhengyang found reversed proportions of Basic Space and the Void in the Eagle Nebula.
• Hu Yu uncovered the Fish Horse Star Civilization’s plan to replace the Milky Way’s black hole consciousness and learned that the Doomsday and Knight Civilizations had helped create it.
• The Super Fortress entered the fourth dimension, and Hu Yu mobilized the galaxy’s fleets while arranging for Xiao Xiao and Hu Yunhang to undergo the Yanhuang Plan.
• Yan Xue and the Snow Tribe battleship Blizzard joined the battle, but the Fish Horse Star fleet grew to 2.5 quadrillion ships and forced Hu Yu to change tactics.
