Background / History

Wen Qingkong possesses the Four Pillars of Pure Yang, a fate associated with isolation and loneliness. After integrating memories from a previous life as a soldier, he initially lacked ambitions for power or wealth; learning that martial arts existed was what first drew his interest. 1

He worked as a Corpse Seamstress at Corpse Seamstress House Number Nine. His stitching can trigger a Revolving Lantern that reveals a deceased person’s life; more importantly, it allows him to inherit their cultivation, martial arts, memories, and other knowledge. His first major acquisition was the Shaolin Golden Bell Shield from a dead monk. 2 3

After gaining the Thirteen Taibao Horizontal Training from Zhou Wu, Wen Qingkong’s body became durable enough to shatter a kitchen knife against his arm without injury. 13 The death of Xie Qianyu subsequently elevated him into the Martial Arts Grandmaster realm and gave him access to the martial world’s higher power structures. 32
