Arc 13The Three-Front War

Yunyi pressed his campaign to remake the world as the New Soviet Union and the United States invaded Japan alongside the Great Asian Alliance. The arc left Japan’s defenses collapsing, with American forces advancing toward Tokyo and Yunyi fighting the New Soviet army in Fukushima.

  • Yunyi captured the Japanese beachhead, confronted Masaki Ichijo, and offered him a chance to deliver a no-surrender message to Japan’s leaders.
  • Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba, and Masaki met Yunyi, who described his plans for a new order and gave Tatsuya three days to decide whether to join him.
  • Mayumi Saegusa brought Kasumi and Izumi home, while Yunyi secured the Saegusa Family’s support and the Master Clans saw Maya Yotsuba and Koichi Saegusa hand leadership to younger successors.
  • Virginia Balance gave Yunyi evidence of the American military’s parasite experiments, faked Lina’s death, and entrusted her to Yunyi before dying, and Lina vowed revenge on the American military.
  • Yunyi gathered resources for the war effort as the New Soviet Union entered the conflict, Japan conscripted magicians, and American forces prepared to attack.
  • Yunyi explained his intentions to Tatsuya and the others, then offered to restore some of Tatsuya’s emotions in exchange for a deal with Tatsuya and Miyuki.
  • Lina attacked American Parasite Soldiers at Tokyo Bay, and Yunyi shielded her before using Fool’s World to destroy the enemy position.
  • Yunyi summoned lightning beasts against the New Soviet army in Fukushima, then called on the Four Spirits of Heaven, and the Vermilion Bird’s firestorm burned the army.
  • Andreevich used Mist Dispersion to break Japan’s defensive line at Tokyo Bay, allowing American forces to advance toward Tokyo’s government centers as the defenses collapsed.
Chapters 301–325 Vol. 4 Read

Ch. 301Defense Line

The Great Asian Alliance’s bombardment forced Katsuto Jumonji to maintain Phalanx until the attack stopped for the landing force. As Yunyi’s troops approached the Japanese coast, he activated Celestial Magic against the defenses held by Jumonji and Masaki Ichijo.

  • Yunyi ordered the Great Asian Alliance fleet to keep bombarding Katsuto Jumonji’s Phalanx and told Liu Yunde that reinforcements were being sent to Jinhae Naval Port.
  • Yunyi explained that Xiaoxue controlled the magician troops within the Alliance, while Shen Yi’s forces and the fleet were kept under separate safeguards.
  • Masaki Ichijo urged Katsuto Jumonji to withdraw the defense line, but Jumonji kept Phalanx up until the bombardment stopped and then collapsed from exhaustion.
  • Masaki Ichijo stayed at the coast to defend against the landing force as Yunyi approached aboard an assault craft.
  • Yunyi spread his Domain Magic over the coastal defenses and activated Celestial Magic: Star Sin.

Ch. 302Breaking the formation

Yunyi's magic devastated Japan's coastal beachhead, allowing the Great Asian Alliance to land and seize the camp. Katsuto Jumonji survived but was carried away gravely wounded, while Liu Yunde found the Alliance's Jinhae Naval Port in a shocking state.

  • Yunyi cast a spell resembling Meteor Stream, and its beams killed or wounded Japanese defenders across the beachhead.
  • Masaki Ichijo survived the attack with one arm severed, but Yunyi mocked him before he died.
  • The Great Asian Alliance's landing force occupied the beachhead, and Yunyi ordered the wounded Japanese soldiers abandoned in a nearby town.
  • The landing force reported that Katsuto Jumonji's body was missing, while Japanese logistics soldiers carried the wounded Katsuto toward a town and sought help.
  • Liu Yunde arrived at Jinhae Naval Port with the returning Alliance fleet and froze at the condition of the port.

Ch. 303Preparing for the Counterattack

Japan’s military high command argued over the loss of Tsushima Fortress while Yunyi prepared to launch a counterattack. He let Masaki Ichijo and the surviving Japanese soldiers leave with a warning for Japan, then told Liu Yunde to bring the reinforcements and their equipment to the front.

  • Japan’s military high command blamed the intelligence department after learning that a magic resembling Maya Yotsuba’s “Meteor Stream” had breached their defenses.
  • Masaki Ichijo woke in Yunyi’s camp, and Yunyi told him that the Japanese survivors could leave the next morning.
  • Yunyi offered Masaki Ichijo a chance to have his severed arm healed by someone in the Yotsuba Family if he delivered Yunyi’s message to Japan’s military high command and the Ten Master Clans.
  • Yunyi told Masaki Ichijo that Japan must bear responsibility for starting the war and that he would not accept surrender.
  • Yunyi contacted Liu Yunde, confirmed that the reinforcements had been picked up, and ordered him to bring them and their equipment so the counterattack could begin.

Ch. 304Passing on a Message

Maya Yotsuba brought Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba to the hospital, where Tatsuya restored Masaki Ichijo’s arm and delivered Yunyi’s warning to Japan’s leaders. Tatsuya and Miyuki tried to contact Yunyi about arranging a meeting, but when he did not answer, Tatsuya called Mayumi Saegusa instead.

  • Maya Yotsuba offered to heal Masaki Ichijo’s arm and asked to speak with him alone.
  • Tatsuya Shiba used magic to restore Masaki’s arm, then told him Yunyi would accept no surrender and Japan would face the consequences of starting the war.
  • Tatsuya explained that he and Miyuki wanted to meet Yunyi to learn what changes he intended to make, and Masaki asked to join them.
  • Masaki learned that Tatsuya and Miyuki were Yotsubas, while Gouki Ichijo returned and saw that his son had recovered.
  • Tatsuya and Miyuki tried to contact Yunyi, but when he did not answer, Tatsuya called Mayumi Saegusa, who picked up.

Ch. 305Request for Peace Talks

Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba, and Masaki Ichijo met Yunyi and Mayumi Saegusa at the Ogasawara villa to discuss peace talks as Japan faced collapse on two fronts. Japan’s military and government had failed to secure negotiations with America or the Great Asian Alliance, and the chapter left Tatsuya about to explain his request to Yunyi.

  • Tatsuya Shiba, Miyuki Shiba, and Masaki Ichijo arrived at the villa under guard, and Xiaoxue escorted them inside.
  • The visitors found Yunyi playing five in a row with Kasumi and Izumi Saegusa, who went upstairs to fetch Mayumi Saegusa.
  • Yunyi invited Tatsuya and the others to sit down, and Mayumi joined them before Yunyi asked Tatsuya what he wanted to discuss.
  • Japan’s leaders faced the Alliance’s advance to Kyoto, American forces in Tokyo, and the failure of Japan’s requests for peace talks.
  • Japan could not meet America’s demand to hand over Yunyi and a Yotsuba Family magician, leaving the Alliance as its only hope for peace.

Ch. 306Negotiations

Yunyi explained why he intended to conquer Japan and outlined his goal of preventing future generations from being forced to fight. Tatsuya accepted the reasoning, while Yunyi offered to avoid conflict if Tatsuya left Japan, and Mayumi urged Yunyi to stop pressuring them.

  • Masaki asked Yunyi what it would take for him to halt the invasion, and Yunyi refused, saying his army could conquer Japan within a week.
  • Tatsuya asked what Yunyi hoped to gain, and Yunyi said war’s horrors could force the world to recognize the need for change.
  • Yunyi revealed that the Great Asian Alliance had achieved its battlefield gains without deploying magicians, a fact Japan’s military had kept quiet.
  • Tatsuya asked what would follow Japan’s conquest, and Yunyi described wanting to prevent himself and his descendants from being sent to kill on a battlefield.
  • Yunyi proposed that Tatsuya leave Japan to avoid a fight, and Miyuki hesitated when he suggested she would not mind the Yotsuba Clan’s destruction.
  • Mayumi told Yunyi to stop making things difficult for Tatsuya and the others.

Ch. 307Negotiations ②

Yunyi and Mayumi Saegusa tried to persuade Tatsuya and Miyuki to join the force Yunyi planned to establish as a check on wars and protect magicians from conscription. Tatsuya asked Yunyi to halt actions that fueled the war while he considered the offer, and Yunyi gave him three days.

  • Yunyi agreed to let Mayumi help persuade Tatsuya and Miyuki to join him, while planning to eliminate Tatsuya if he could not win him over.
  • Mayumi explained why she supported Yunyi’s proposed new order and invited Tatsuya and Miyuki to help found it.
  • Miyuki asked how the new order could be put into practice, and Masaki said the force would intervene in wars; Tatsuya confirmed it could be established.
  • Tatsuya asked Yunyi to stop fueling the war while he considered the proposal, saying that he and Miyuki had their own difficulties.
  • Yunyi gave Tatsuya three days to decide and warned that he would act if the Japanese military made an inappropriate move; Tatsuya then left to report back to the Ten Master Clans.

Ch. 308Decision

After leaving Ogasawara, Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba explained to Masaki Ichijo that Yunyi appeared to be waiting for more powers to target Japan so he could turn the forced conscription of magicians against the government. Yunyi later discussed his revised plan with Shen Yi, aiming to use the Ten Master Clans to reshape Japan’s magic community without creating lasting instability.

  • Tatsuya Shiba told Masaki Ichijo that Yunyi could devastate Japan but seemed to have another objective, and Miyuki Shiba suggested he was waiting for additional forces to intervene.
  • Tatsuya Shiba reasoned that a new attack could force Japan to conscript magicians, turning their resentment into support for Yunyi.
  • Miyuki Shiba suggested that the Saegusa family might side with Yunyi under Mayumi Saegusa, while Masaki Ichijo asked how the Yotsuba Clan would respond.
  • Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba gave Masaki Ichijo an answer about the Yotsuba Clan that left him astonished.
  • Yunyi told Shen Yi that he wanted Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba, not the Yotsuba Clan itself, and agreed to assess the Ten Master Clans’ influence before changing Japan’s order.

Ch. 309Decision ②

Yunyi and Mayumi Saegusa brought Kasumi and Izumi back to the Saegusa residence in Japan, where the family began learning about Yunyi’s overseas power and influence. Koichi and Tomokazu prepared to meet them as Mrs. Saegusa listened to her daughters’ account and reconsidered Yunyi’s motives.

  • Shen Yi spent more time with Yunyi, and after he and Mayumi Saegusa left her, they found Kasumi and Izumi had turned their room upside down looking for clothes.
  • Yunyi asked Kasumi and Izumi whether they wanted to return to Japan and see their parents, and Mayumi reassured them that they would tell the family about them.
  • Koichi Saegusa and Tomokazu Saegusa discussed the Saegusa Family’s precarious position before the butler announced Mayumi’s return with Kasumi, Izumi, and Yunyi.
  • Koichi ordered the butler to help receive the visitors and told Tomokazu to go see them.
  • Mrs. Saegusa listened as Kasumi and Izumi described their experiences abroad and Yunyi’s strength, military authority, and research organization.

Ch. 310Decision ③

Yunyi returned to the Saegusa residence to claim Mayumi Saegusa’s dowry and discussed the family’s future and his plans with Koichi Saegusa. He left Koichi shaken by the possibility that Yunyi could command far more Strategic-Class Magicians than anyone knew.

  • Mrs. Saegusa reconsidered whether Mayumi should return to lead the Saegusa Family after noticing the distance between Mayumi and Yunyi, then grew suspicious of Kasumi Saegusa and Izumi Saegusa’s behavior.
  • Tomokazu Saegusa warned that the sisters’ return was risky, but Mayumi said Yunyi’s presence would deter anyone from causing trouble.
  • Yunyi went upstairs to speak with Koichi Saegusa, who asked why he had returned; Yunyi said they had come to receive Mayumi’s dowry.
  • Yunyi told Koichi that the Saegusa Family had few better options and discussed how magicians worldwide followed powerful figures, especially Strategic-Class Magicians.
  • Yunyi asked how many Strategic-Class Magicians Koichi thought existed beyond those he knew, leaving Koichi stunned by the prospect that Yunyi could call on many more.

Ch. 311Decision ④

Yunyi told Koichi Saegusa to announce his plans at an appropriate time, then learned Kasumi and Izumi had fallen for him and said he did not object. After Yunyi left with the three Saegusa sisters, the Shiba siblings and Masaki Ichijo reported on their meeting with him, and Maya asked Tatsuya whether Yunyi’s proposed new order could succeed.

  • Koichi agreed to announce Yunyi’s news at an appropriate time and wished him success.
  • Mayumi revealed that Kasumi and Izumi had fallen for Yunyi, and Izumi confirmed it when Koichi questioned them.
  • Yunyi said he did not object to Kasumi and Izumi, then left the Saegusa home with the three sisters.
  • The Shiba siblings and Masaki Ichijo submitted reports about their meeting with Yunyi to the Master Clans.
  • Masaki went to meet Gouki Ichijo, while Tatsuya and Miyuki returned to Tokyo and shared information with Maya.
  • Maya asked Tatsuya whether Yunyi’s plan to establish a new order could succeed.

Ch. 312Decision ⑤

Maya Yotsuba approved Miyuki and Tatsuya’s course regarding Yunyi’s proposed new order, then announced she would resign as head of the Yotsuba Family and name Miyuki her successor. As an emergency Master Clans Conference began, the other families were still weighing whether to support, oppose, or stay neutral toward the coming transformation.

  • Tatsuya estimated Yunyi’s plan had at least a fifty percent chance of success and said it could reshape the world even if it failed.
  • Maya relinquished her authority to Miyuki, easing Tatsuya and Miyuki’s concern that the Yotsuba Clan might oppose them.
  • Katsuto Jumonji decided his family would take neither side, believing the Jumonji Family could not stop the transformation and had no right to choose for other magicians.
  • At the online emergency Master Clans Conference, Maya announced that she would step down and Miyuki would succeed her as head of the Yotsuba Clan.
  • The heads of the Mitsuya and Mutsuzuka Families questioned Maya’s timing, but she said the younger generation should make decisions about the transformation.

Ch. 313Decision ⑥

Maya Yotsuba and Koichi Saegusa announced their resignations and successors at the Master Clans Conference, while Yunyi agreed to meet Lina and her superior in Okinawa. The story left the conference about to address its main business and the Okinawa meeting scheduled for the following day.

  • Maya Yotsuba announced that she would step down, and Koichi Saegusa revealed that Mayumi Saegusa would succeed him as head of the Saegusa Family.
  • Koichi Saegusa explained that he wanted younger leaders to guide the families, while Maya Yotsuba doubted that his stated motives told the whole story.
  • Maya Yotsuba introduced Miyuki Yotsuba as the Yotsuba successor and identified Tatsuya Yotsuba as a Strategic-Class Magician and Miyuki's fiancé.
  • Kazuki Jumonji urged the Ten Master Clans to turn to the matter at hand.
  • Yunyi agreed to meet Lina and Colonel Virginia in Okinawa the next day, and Lina considered leaving the American military.

Ch. 314Decision ⑦

Yunyi and Lina met with Virginia Balance in Okinawa to discuss the fate of Lina’s STARS team and Virginia’s choice in the war. Virginia arranged to have Lina declared dead and entrusted her future to Yunyi, who killed Virginia; Lina then found Virginia’s final message explaining her actions.

  • Virginia Balance gave Yunyi intelligence showing that the American military had forced soldiers into parasite experiments, and Lina broke down as she read it.
  • Virginia declared that she would remain loyal to her country but asked Yunyi to help Major Sirius avoid the higher-ups’ schemes.
  • Virginia sent American military high command a message and magical image declaring Lina dead after she was exposed during an infiltration mission.
  • Virginia entrusted Lina’s future to Yunyi, who killed her with a bolt of white lightning.
  • Lina confronted Yunyi, then opened Virginia’s bloodstained terminal and found Virginia’s last words to her.

Ch. 315Decision ⑧

After learning that Virginia sacrificed herself to protect her, Lina vowed revenge on the American military, while Yunyi prepared to exploit the widening international conflict. The Master Clans Conference approved Yunyi’s proposal with four families, and Yunyi traveled to the Great Asian Alliance’s base to pursue his next move.

  • Lina read Virginia’s final message, changed her appearance with disguise magic, and vowed to take revenge on the American military; Virginia’s house then exploded as planned.
  • Yunyi brought Lina to the Ogasawara villa and learned from Mayumi Saegusa that New Soviet Union troops had taken Hokkaido and India had sent forces toward the border.
  • Yunyi told Mayumi to use her access to locate Andreevich and Leonid, who might be with the New Soviet Union army.
  • Miyuki Shiba told Yunyi that the Yotsuba Clan, Saegusa family, Ichijo Family, and Mutsuzuka Family supported his proposal, while Jumonji and Futatsugi remained neutral and Mitsuya and Yatsushiro opposed it.
  • Miyuki said her brother had gone with her aunt to pick up Fumiya's mother, and Yunyi inferred that Maya Yotsuba intended to remove his restrictions.
  • Yunyi used the Gate of Transfer to travel from the villa to the Great Asian Alliance's base in Aichi Prefecture.

Ch. 316Decision ⑨

Yunyi and Liu Yunde assessed the war in Japan as the New Soviet Union joined the fighting, while Yunyi arranged for resources to keep the Alliance’s missile production running. Yunyi planned to draw the magician units of Japan, America, and the New Soviet Union into battle, but he was unsure how to break the New Soviet Union’s military magicians’ will to fight.

  • Yunyi told Liu Yunde that he would keep using missiles and had sent teams to demand resources from powerful families and officials.
  • Yunyi threatened his grandfather, Old Master Yun, into handing over the Yun Family’s resources, and the other old men also complied.
  • A messenger brought news that the New Soviet Union’s military had entered the war, leaving Liu Yunde concerned about fighting Japan, America, and the New Soviet Union at once.
  • Yunyi predicted that Japan would establish a defensive line at Fukushima and transfer magician units there to face the New Soviet Union.
  • Yunyi rejected Liu Yunde’s suggestion to take Tokyo and said he wanted the magician units of all three sides drawn into the fighting.
  • Yunyi wondered how to destroy the New Soviet Union military’s will to fight, since its magicians had little reason to resent their military service.

Ch. 317On the Eve of War ④

The New Soviet Union prepared to invade Japan, while Japan scrambled to build defenses and the US military responded to the chaos caused by Sirius’s reported death. At dawn, the New Soviet and US forces began their operations.

  • Andreevich and Leonid planned the New Soviet advance, deciding to prioritize ground forces and air support and to divide their efforts if they encountered the Great Asian Alliance.
  • Andreevich left with two elite squads to infiltrate Tokyo, while Leonid prepared the main New Soviet forces to advance from Hokkaido the next morning.
  • Japan’s military redeployed troops, ordered civilians in the northeast to evacuate toward the Kanto Region, and conscripted teachers, students, and combat-capable magicians.
  • The US military reeled from news of Sirius’s death and dispatched a Strategic-Class Magician to the front.
  • At dawn, the New Soviet forces and the US military began their operations at the same time.

Ch. 318Reunion

Yunyi reunited with Mayumi, Tatsuya, and Miyuki at First High School before Katsuto brought Masaki and Hirofumi Itsuwa to meet them. Yunyi confronted Hirofumi over the destruction of the Itsuwa Family and argued that Mio Itsuwa’s attack on the Great Asian Alliance’s fleet justified his retaliation.

  • Mayumi reflected on how her life had changed as she sat with Yunyi in the Student Council room.
  • Tatsuya and Miyuki arrived, and they joked with Yunyi about Tatsuya being head of the Yotsuba Family and its Guardian.
  • Yunyi transferred files to Tatsuya, then Suzune arrived with Masaki, whom Yunyi teased as the Prince.
  • Katsuto entered with Hirofumi Itsuwa, prompting Yunyi to prepare to attack until Katsuto intervened and explained that Hirofumi wanted to know why Yunyi had destroyed the Itsuwa Family.
  • Yunyi cited Mio Itsuwa’s use of Abyss against the Great Asian Alliance’s fleet as his reason for striking back.

Ch. 319The Situation ②

Yunyi explained that he destroyed the Itsuwa Family because it had grown too close to the military, and warned that Retsu Kudou was using Hirofumi Itsuwa to divide his allies. As the New Soviet Union occupied northern Japan and the Great Asian Alliance controlled the south, Yunyi said no one could stop what he planned to do next.

  • After Katsuto Jumonji took Hirofumi Itsuwa away, Yunyi admitted he had intended to kill him, and Masaki Ichijo asked why Yunyi had destroyed the Itsuwa Family.
  • Yunyi said Itsuwa had grown too close to the military and described how the military and political sides helped preserve the balance among the Ten Master Clans.
  • Yunyi said Retsu Kudou had sent Hirofumi Itsuwa to test Yunyi and undermine the other families’ support for him.
  • Yunyi predicted that military officials were contacting the other families, and Mayumi Saegusa asked whether their support would affect his plans; Yunyi said it would not.
  • Tatsuya Shiba asked how Yunyi would handle the New Soviet Union, and Yunyi projected a map showing its occupation of Hokkaido and much of northeastern Japan, while the Great Asian Alliance held the south.

Ch. 320Deal ②

Yunyi explained why he had come to Japan and revealed that he knew a way to restore some of Tatsuya Shiba’s emotions while keeping Miyuki Shiba as his sole special attachment. The chapter ended with Yunyi proposing a deal and leaving it to the siblings to offer something in exchange.

  • Japan’s military faced defeats on several fronts as the New Soviet Union advanced toward Kantō, while the Ten Master Clans ignored its pleas for help.
  • Yunyi, Mayumi Saegusa, Tatsuya Shiba, and Miyuki Shiba walked around First High School, where Yunyi recalled the beginning of his time in Japan.
  • Yunyi told the others that he had come to recruit Tatsuya, gather intelligence, and because Japan would become the center of many events.
  • Yunyi told Tatsuya that he had found a way to control him, then whispered to Miyuki that he could restore some of Tatsuya’s other emotions while preserving her special place in his feelings.
  • Yunyi proposed a deal and said it depended on whether Miyuki and Tatsuya could offer enough in return.

Ch. 321Advance!

After Miyuki urged Tatsuya to pursue emotional recovery, Tatsuya acknowledged that Yunyi’s Kotodama Magic might be changing him. Meanwhile, Mayumi met with Kyoko Fujibayashi, and Yunyi learned that the New Soviet Union’s forces had advanced into Fukushima Prefecture and were nearing Japan’s defenses.

  • Miyuki told Tatsuya she wanted Yunyi to do everything possible to restore his emotions, and she would not back down on the matter.
  • Tatsuya admitted that he had changed while spending time with Yunyi and suspected Yunyi’s Kotodama Magic was affecting him.
  • Yunyi returned to Tokyo with Mayumi and directed her to speak privately with Kyoko Fujibayashi in the basement.
  • Yunyi reassured Kasumi and Izumi that Mayumi was safe while hidden guards protected the house.
  • Mayumi brought Yunyi intelligence that the New Soviet Union’s army had entered Fukushima Prefecture and was about to face Japan’s defensive line.

Ch. 322The War Begins

Yunyi learned that Leonid had used Strategic-Class Magic to rush the New Soviet Union's army to Fukushima, disrupting Japan's defenses and evacuation plans. As the American fleet began its landing operation in Tokyo Bay, Japan faced attacks from both the north and the sea.

  • Yunyi questioned how the New Soviet Union's forces had reached Fukushima so quickly, and Kyoko Fujibayashi explained that Leonid could use 'Tuman Bomba' to accelerate their advance.
  • Mayumi Saegusa told Yunyi that Kyoko had come to gauge whether he would retaliate against the Fujibayashi Family over the Kudou Family, and Yunyi suspected Retsu Kudou had sent her to test the waters.
  • Leonid led the New Soviet Union's army through the undersea tunnel and advanced toward Tokyo after finding no defenders in its way.
  • Elliot Miller, Regulus Barth, and the American frontline commander decided to launch an attack rather than wait for Japan's other conflict to develop.
  • The American navy breached Japan's defensive line outside Tokyo Bay, and its amphibious landing ships carried troops into Japan.

Ch. 323The Fangs of Sirius Turned Against Their Master

Lina attacked the American forces at Japan’s harbor after recognizing former STARS members among the Parasite Soldiers, while Yunyi protected her from retaliation. Exhausted by her Strategic-Class Magic, Lina fell from the sky, and Yunyi caught her.

  • Yunyi watched the American Parasite Soldiers overwhelm Japan’s harbor defenses and stopped Lina from acting until he saw STARS members enter the battle.
  • Lina concealed her identity with Parade and charged into the fight after recognizing her former STARS subordinates, whom the American military had turned into Parasite Soldiers.
  • Lina unleashed Heavy Metal Burst across the battlefield, striking both Japanese defenders and American troops as Yunyi shielded her from their counterattacks.
  • American commanders mistook Lina for someone using Sirius’s CAD and ordered their forces to eliminate her and recover it.
  • Lina’s Psions ran low, and she fell toward the defensive line, where Yunyi appeared and caught her.

Ch. 324Red Will

Yunyi helped Lina destroy the remaining Parasite Soldiers, then rushed to Fukushima, where the New Soviet Union’s powerful Tuman Bomba-enhanced army had broken Japan’s defensive line. He summoned the Heavenly Crusader to stop both armies, but as the New Soviet troops fought through the lightning beasts, Yunyi expanded Fool’s World and called on the Four Spirits of Heaven.

  • After Lina silently agreed, Yunyi used Fool’s World to unleash a Heavy Metal Burst across the enemy position and kill the remaining defenders and Parasite Soldiers.
  • Yunyi took Lina to Mayumi Saegusa, then transferred to Fukushima and found that the New Soviet Union had already smashed Japan’s defensive line.
  • Yunyi suspected Tuman Bomba enhanced the New Soviet troops and their tanks, and he cast the forbidden spell Heavenly Crusader to summon an army of lightning beasts.
  • The lightning beasts wiped out the retreating Japanese defenders, then attacked the New Soviet army, which fought back with tanks, artillery, magic, and explosive charges.
  • After the New Soviet troops proved able to destroy the lightning beasts, Yunyi expanded Fool’s World and called on the Four Spirits of Heaven.

Ch. 325Tearing Through the Defenses

Yunyi destroyed the New Soviet Union army in Fukushima with the Four Spirits Summoning-Vermilion Bird Spreads Its Wings, then returned to the battle at Tokyo Bay. Andreevich broke Japan’s second defensive line with Mist Dispersion, allowing American forces to enter Tokyo and overwhelm its defenses.

  • Yunyi unleashed the Vermilion Bird’s firestorm, which burned the thunder beasts and the New Soviet Union army in Fukushima.
  • Yunyi returned to Tokyo Bay, where American forces were held at Japan’s second defensive line by Japanese magicians and troops.
  • Maya Yotsuba refused the military’s pressure to use Material Burst against the American fleet.
  • After learning of the losses in Fukushima, Andreevich infiltrated the front near Tokyo Bay and attacked the Japanese defensive line with Mist Dispersion.
  • American forces rushed through the breach and advanced toward Tokyo’s government centers, while Japan’s defenses collapsed into chaos.
