At the broadcasting room door, Baifeng Uesugi reached out and gripped the handle. Then he took the CAD from his pocket and made a show of pressing it a few times.
He then cast the magic directly.
"Melting."
As Baifeng Uesugi activated the magic, the handle and lock gradually dissolved, eventually turning into a puddle of molten iron.
"All right, you can go in now."
Once he was done, Baifeng Uesugi stepped aside to let the Public Morals Committee members enter the broadcasting room.
"Thank you so much, Bai Feng."
Mayumi Saegusa thanked him.
"All right, I'll take your two younger sisters to the student council room and wait for you there."
With that, Baifeng Uesugi left with Kasumi Saegusa and Izumi Saegusa.
Tatsuya Shiba stared after Baifeng Uesugi, lost in thought.
"Brother? Why do you keep staring at Bai Feng like that?"
Miyuki Shiba asked in confusion.
"It's nothing," Tatsuya Shiba replied, shaking his head.
When Bai Feng cast that magic just now, I didn't sense an activation sequence from his CAD. Could it really be as I suspected...?
"Really?" Miyuki Shiba clearly didn't believe him. Anyone could see that Tatsuya Shiba had something on his mind.
But seeing that Tatsuya Shiba didn't want to say more, Miyuki Shiba didn't press him. After all, they still had important business to attend to.
Baifeng Uesugi took the two Saegusa sisters to the student council room to wait for Mayumi Saegusa.

Mayumi Saegusa finally arrived.

"The son of the man Hajime's mother remarried-in other words, Hajime's stepbrother-is the leader of the Japanese branch. This man, Tsukasa Tsukasa, isn't just a figurehead.
"He doesn't just lead their public activities; he also runs their illegal operations behind the scenes. He's a true leader."
Yakumo Kokonoe explained.
"Hajime was able to get into First High School thanks to Tsukasa Tsukasa, too."
As the two were talking, Tatsuya Shiba noticed a student ID off to the side.
After seeing the name on it, Tatsuya Shiba quietly pocketed it.
"Sensei, has someone been here?"
Tatsuya Shiba asked.
"Huh? No. Why the sudden question, Tatsuya?"
Tatsuya Shiba's sudden question left Yakumo Kokonoe a little bewildered.

After entering the campus, Baifeng Uesugi activated invisibility magic and followed behind Miyuki Shiba and the others, while also keeping an eye on what was happening with Mayumi Saegusa.

He stood on the school rooftop, watching Tatsuya Shiba and his sister escorting the people below, as well as Mayumi Saegusa directing things.
Baifeng Uesugi said indifferently,
"Blanche, huh? Interesting. I hope you'll be a little entertaining."
Baifeng Uesugi activated flight magic and headed for their base in Nihon.
He arrived above an abandoned factory in the suburbs.
"Looks like this is the place."
Baifeng Uesugi then activated perception magic and found quite a few people still inside. Most of them were carrying firearms, though, and only one was a magician.
"Innate Magic, Thousand-Li Ice Seal."
The instant the Innate Magic activated, the entire abandoned factory became a castle of ice and snow. Baifeng Uesugi had restrained its power, however, merely sealing them in ice without endangering their lives.
"Done. Time to go home."
After using perception magic again to make sure no one had slipped through the net, Baifeng Uesugi left.
Meanwhile, Tatsuya Shiba and the others, who had been on their way there by car, got out and stared dumbfounded at the sight before them.
"Did someone beat us to it?" Katsuto Jumonji said.
"Let's go in and take a look," Tatsuya Shiba said.
"Okay."
After entering, the group found no sign of an ambush.
Tatsuya Shiba used perception magic and found a group of people. They had been sealed in ice, but they still had vital signs.
"The danger's over. Let's go straight in," Tatsuya Shiba said.
After Baifeng Uesugi returned home, Maya Yotsuba questioned him.
"Little Feng, where have you been?"
"Hehe, Sister Maya, don't you already know?"
Baifeng Uesugi knew that the Yotsuba Family had already informed Maya Yotsuba of everything that had happened that day.
"You're still injured. Why are you running around everywhere?"
Maya Yotsuba scolded him.
"My injury's fine. Besides, I'm Mayumi and Miyuki's guardian, after all. I should do my part."
Baifeng Uesugi said with a smile.
"All right, all right. Honestly, you're always doing things that make people worry," Maya Yotsuba said unhappily.
"Sister Maya, I was wrong, okay? Besides, those people weren't much of a threat this time."
Seeing that Maya Yotsuba seemed a little unhappy, Baifeng Uesugi hurriedly spoke up.
"I'm hungry."
Maya Yotsuba said, folding her arms.
