Meanwhile, on another bus.
"Miyuki, would you like some tea?" Honoka Mitsui asked.
"Thank you, Honoka, but I'm sorry, I'm not thirsty right now. Unlike my brother, I wasn't assigned to stand outside in this heat," Miyuki Shiba said unhappily.
"Mm, that's true... But didn't you see that Bai Feng is outside too, Miyuki? Maybe it's just how the work is normally divided," Honoka Mitsui said reassuringly.
Then she suddenly felt someone poking her in the waist. She turned and saw Shizuku Kitayama.
"Why did you remind her of her brother?"
"That couldn't be helped," Honoka Mitsui said helplessly.
"Leave it to me."
Shizuku Kitayama took out a bento and spoke.
"Miyuki, want to try some? This bento of mine is really tasty."
"Shizuku, how come you have a bento?" Honoka Mitsui asked in puzzlement.
"Hehe, I asked Bai Feng to make it for me last night."
Shizuku Kitayama smiled proudly.
With that, she opened the lid of the bento.
Miyuki Shiba, who had been quietly feeling sad, suddenly caught a familiar aroma and couldn't resist taking a few more sniffs.
She found that the aroma came from Shizuku Kitayama's bento. When she saw the dishes inside, she looked somewhat puzzled.
"Shizuku, did you make this bento yourself?"
"No, I asked Bai Feng to make it for me," Shizuku Kitayama explained.
"Bai Feng?"
For a moment, Miyuki Shiba fell into thought.
"What's wrong, Miyuki?" Honoka Mitsui asked, puzzled by her reaction.
"It's nothing. Shizuku, may I try your bento?" Miyuki Shiba asked.
"Sure. I brought it out to cheer you up in the first place."
Shizuku Kitayama passed her the bento as she spoke.
"Thank you, Shizuku," Miyuki Shiba said after taking it.
Looking at the familiar dishes inside, she took a bite with a sense of apprehension.
"This... this..."
After tasting that familiar flavor, Miyuki Shiba couldn't help choking up.
"That's the taste."
"Miyuki, what... what's wrong?"
Seeing that Miyuki Shiba seemed even more upset than before, Shizuku Kitayama grew anxious.
"It's nothing. This bento is just so delicious, and I really like it. Shizuku, could you give me the whole thing?"
Miyuki Shiba looked at her expectantly as she asked.
"This... all right."
Seeing Miyuki Shiba's expression, Shizuku Kitayama reluctantly agreed to part with it.
"Thank you, Shizuku."
Miyuki Shiba thanked her.
"Hey, Shizuku, what's going on? Doesn't Miyuki seem a little strange?"
Honoka Mitsui asked quietly.
"I don't know either. Maybe it's because Bai Feng's bento is so delicious."
Shizuku Kitayama was baffled.
"But no matter how delicious it is, surely it wouldn't make her cry? Didn't you see how she looked just now? She was even more upset than when she found out Tatsuya was standing outside."
Honoka Mitsui was shocked.
"That's true. She was even more upset than before."
Shizuku Kitayama agreed.
Miyuki Shiba looked at the bento in front of her and took another bite.
I've only ever seen Brother Baifeng make dishes like these, and they taste exactly like his cooking too. Could Baifeng be Brother Baifeng?
But why would he hide his identity to come to First High School? And why did he disappear for so many years?
Suddenly, Miyuki Shiba remembered that Tatsuya Shiba had met Baifeng Uesugi before. Had he known all along?
At that thought, Miyuki Shiba felt as though she had been deceived and grew very angry. At the same time, her surroundings began to change.
"Um... Miyuki, are you all right?"
Honoka Mitsui spoke up.
"Ah, I... I'm fine. Sorry." Only when Honoka pointed it out did Miyuki Shiba notice that frost had begun to form around her, and she hurriedly apologized.
"It's all right. Miyuki, if something's bothering you, please tell us."
Honoka Mitsui was worried.
Miyuki Shiba was acting far too strangely today.
Tatsuya Shiba, who had been sitting quietly, suddenly sneezed and felt a chill down his back.
"Tatsuya, are you sick?" Erika Chiba asked.
"It's nothing. I'm fine," Tatsuya Shiba replied.
Meanwhile, a black car traveling at high speed suddenly flipped onto its side and caught fire. Out of control, it sped toward the convoy of buses.
"Watch out," Tatsuya Shiba warned.
"What?" Erika Chiba asked, puzzled.
Baifeng Uesugi, who had been quietly watching Mayumi Saegusa sleep, also sensed the danger and suddenly stood up.
"Careful, there's danger."
"What happened?" Mari Watanabe asked.
"Look outside."
Everyone looked in the direction indicated and saw a burning car hurtling out of control toward the bus.
When the bus driver saw it, he hurriedly slammed on the brakes, bringing the bus to a stop sideways across the road. Seeing this, everyone prepared to cast magic to stop the car from crashing into them.
"Idiots, stop! Your magic will interfere with each other."
Seeing so many people casting magic at once to avert the danger, Mari Watanabe hurriedly called out to stop them.
"Everyone, calm down."
Mayumi Saegusa had woken up when the bus braked suddenly. After seeing what was happening, she hurriedly spoke.
Hearing Mayumi Saegusa's warning, everyone hurriedly stopped casting their magic.
"Jumonji, can you handle it?" Mari Watanabe asked.
"If it were just defense, I could manage, but this psion storm is too strong. Putting out the fire at the same time would be difficult."
Katsuto Jumonji spoke.
"Leave it to me."
Baifeng Uesugi spoke up then.
Miyuki Shiba looked at Baifeng Uesugi as he spoke, her expression complicated.
"All right, then we'll leave it to you, Bai Feng," Mayumi Saegusa said.
"Mm."
As usual, Baifeng Uesugi took out a CAD and pretended to activate his magic.
"Ice Sealing Spell."
"Hurricane."
In the blink of an eye, both spells activated.
The out-of-control car was first encased in ice, then a powerful gale swept it off the ground, leaving it suspended ten meters in the air.
"That's... such precise magic control," Mari Watanabe said in shock. It was her first time seeing Baifeng Uesugi use magic.
"Amazing," Kanon said as well.
Only Miyuki Shiba was highly emotional as she watched Baifeng Uesugi.
He knew only one person capable of a feat like this: casting two spells at once and activating them at almost the same speed.
That person was her brother, Bai Feng. She had already been certain when she saw the dishes in the bento, and now she was even more certain. What puzzled her was why Bai Feng Uesugi was hiding his identity.
