Shiraishi and his allies launched a counterattack against Aizen and the Arrancar invasion, killing Aizen and ending the fighting with the Quincy. The story left Shiraishi back in Zuellni after a brief disappearance with Kūkaku, as Sora Inoue organized the rebuilding and the new calendar.

• Grimmjow led the Arrancar in a deceptive attack on the Dark Forest, while Gin Ichimaru suspected the Shinigami had survived and prepared a counterattack.
• Aizen named Jehovah the Zeroth Espada and sent her with a million Arrancar to invade the lower world, prompting Kisuke Urahara’s group to attack the Pantheon and defend the Steel Shell Cities.
• Shiraishi entered the Pantheon with his allies, confronted Aizen, and sent Byakuya Kuchiki and Tōshirō Hitsugaya to fight Zommari Rureaux and Loly.
• Ichigo Kurosaki fought Ulquiorra, suffered a fatal chest wound, then transformed and overwhelmed him while Mayuri Kurotsuchi trapped and tortured Szayelaporro.
• Aizen’s barrier isolated him from the others, and he fought Yamamoto, Ōetsu Nimaiya, Kisuke Urahara, and Shiraishi until Shiraishi used PROJECT’s hypnosis to help Gin Ichimaru stab him.
• Retsu Unohana defeated Baraggan but was gravely wounded, while Shiraishi burned Aizen until his Reiatsu vanished and Unohana began treating Nelliel.
• Shiraishi persuaded Tier Harribel to stop the fighting and helped secure a ceasefire between the Arrancar and Quincy, while Yhwach fell into a deep sleep and left affairs to Haschwalth and Uryū Ishida.
• Shiraishi attended the Shinigami Festival with Kūkaku Shiba, disappeared with her in early August, and returned to Zuellni by August fifteenth as Sora Inoue planned for the rebuilding.

Shiraishi became Captain-Commander and reshaped Soul Society while attending to the Human Alliance, the Wandenreich, and Hueco Mundo. As corruption and paperwork challenged his reforms, he pursued a relationship with Retsu and searched for a place where Gin could live and work.

• Shiraishi agreed to give the Human Alliance Nation’s founding speech and accepted an honorary position, portrait, and statue, while Retsu arranged a schedule for him to spend time with the women in his life.
• Shiraishi visited Yamamoto, who retired and named him Captain-Commander, then introduced new military organization, working hours, and policies for noble appointments.
• Shiraishi addressed the Human Alliance Nation’s founding ceremony, divided its land among twenty-five territories, and explained plans to transfer deceased humans to Soul Society over a hundred years.
• Shiraishi visited Nelliel in Hueco Mundo and learned that Loly and Aura were studying Hell, while Ichibē revealed the Soul King’s history and Aizen’s presence in Hell with Szayelaporro.
• Shiraishi tackled the unruly 11th Division by assigning its members long workdays and an action-movie production, then spent a date with Nemu, who dressed as a Dalmatian and later fed him in her liquid form.
• Shiraishi confronted corruption and departmental bloat in Soul Society as Sōya Azashiro won the Sternritter’s approval to borrow the Sun Gate and traveled to Hueco Mundo.
• Shiraishi and Retsu agreed to have a child, and Shiraishi secretly asked Soi Fon to investigate those behind the corruption while discussing Gin’s possible release with Yamamoto.
• Shiraishi asked Hiyori, Love, and Nel about Gin’s future, but after they rejected his proposals, he decided to find another place that would accept him.

Shiraishi helped Nelliel defeat Grimmjow’s rebellion and stopped Sōya Azashiro’s attack, then returned to Soul Society to face corruption and prepare for the Quincy threat. His family grew with Retsu’s birth of Hakuhō, while Ichigo joined the First Division and Shiraishi expanded surveillance toward Silbern.

• Shiraishi freed Gin Ichimaru and assigned him to the 11th Division, then asked Soi Fon to investigate corruption among civil servants.
• Sōya Azashiro aided Grimmjow’s rebellion, while Grimmjow and Nelliel fought until Nelliel killed him and ordered the remaining Arrancar to surrender.
• Azashiro battled Tier Harribel, then attacked Soul Society with Loly and Szayelaporro before Shiraishi knocked him unconscious and had him imprisoned.
• Shiraishi helped restore order in Hueco Mundo, where Nelliel kissed him, and later ordered Azashiro to cooperate with Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s experiments.
• Soi Fon reported that Tsunayashiro Takeshi led a corrupt group, and Shiraishi ordered a renewed campaign against corruption before Retsu Unohana revealed she was pregnant.
• Shiraishi and the women in his life celebrated New Year together, while Uryū Ishida’s night with Bambietta and Candice left him alarmed by the possibility of a pregnancy.
• Retsu gave birth to a girl whom Shiraishi named Hakuhō, and Shiraishi attended Shin'ō Academy’s graduation before assigning the new graduates to divisions.
• Ichigo Kurosaki joined the First Division, and Shiraishi later used Perception Threads to monitor the districts for the Silbern threat while caring for Hakuhō.

Renji confessed to Rukia, then lost his duel with Byakuya and vowed to grow stronger. When Yhwach launched the invasion, Uryū secretly worked against him, Shiraishi defeated Gerard, and Haschwalth tested Soul Society’s defenses before withdrawing.

• Renji Abarai confessed to Rukia and asked her to marry him, but she fled without giving him an answer.
• Renji challenged Byakuya Kuchiki and lost, then promised Rukia he would grow stronger before facing her answer.
• Soi Fon uncovered the Restore Aizen Group, but Kenpachi Zaraki’s assault destroyed the Stealth Force’s lead, while Alexander escaped capture.
• Uryū Ishida resolved to oppose Yhwach, then secretly incapacitated Quincy supporters and joined forces with Mayuri Kurotsuchi.
• Yhwach awakened and sent the Quincy into Soul Society, where Shiraishi ordered the Shinigami to defend against the invasion.
• Ichigo Kurosaki fought Gremmy, while Kenpachi Zaraki, Byakuya Kuchiki, and Tōshirō Hitsugaya battled Gerard Valkyrie.
• Shiraishi arrived and destroyed Gerard with Crimson Lotus Hellfire, while Rangiku Matsumoto and Gin Ichimaru carried the injured Hitsugaya and Zaraki to the medical squad.
• Haschwalth fought Gin Ichimaru and Shinji Hirako, then withdrew to probe other defenses as Gin and Shinji stayed to guard the passage to the Soul King Palace.
