Background / History

Teleportation Incident and Separation

Norn was in the family yard with Paul when the Teleportation Incident occurred. Paul grabbed her before they were transported to the wilderness of southern Asura. Frightened and crying, the four-year-old was carried by her father for two days until they reached a town. Paul then bought a sword and two horses and took her back toward Fittoa Territory, reaching it almost a month later 15.

Norn remained with Paul during the search for their missing family. By the time Rudeus reached the search-party camp near Milishion, she was seven and initially unsure of her much-changed brother. Eris’s sword immediately caught her attention, and she asked to be taught swordsmanship 12 13 14.

Zenith’s Rescue

While the adults prepared to rescue Zenith from the Teleportation Labyrinth, Norn remembered the birthday cakes her mother used to make with wild raspberries. She asked Paul whether Zenith could make another after being rescued 14.
