Meeting His Other Self

Original Huo Yuhao is the Huo Yuhao of a parallel world, rather than the visiting protagonist who cultivates under Nezha. Their histories resemble one another but contain differences that both acknowledge. He initially suspects an impersonation; recognizing Electrolux convinces him that the visitor is genuinely another version of himself 180 185 190.

After healing him, the visitor orders him to conceal his recovery and installs a split soul in his Sea of Consciousness. The arrangement allows the visitor to take control of his body during the tournament. Original Huo Yuhao initially intends to compete for the Tang Sect’s honor, while his counterpart urges him to repay the sect’s kindness and eventually leave it 181.

Breaking with His Expected Future

His counterpart challenges his devotion to Wang Dong’er and tells him that Wang Qiu’er used her heart’s blood to obtain another Lovesick Heartbreak Red and save his life. Original Huo Yuhao also remembers Qiu’er saving him at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well 184 190.

The decisive confrontation concerns Tang San. The visitor claims that Tang San seeks his destiny, has arranged Wang Dong’er’s place in his life, and intends to transfer Qiu’er’s bloodline and abilities to her. Electrolux supports the warning by recounting Tang San’s actions in the visitor’s world 190 191.

Original Huo Yuhao is devastated by the claim that his future self abandoned revenge and forgave Dai Hao. He nevertheless accepts his counterpart’s offered hand, resolving to remain Huo, take revenge, protect his loved ones, and stop living as someone else’s pawn. Unknown to him, the visitor places a trace of Power of Emotion inside him as insurance 190 191.

Tournament and Sunrise City Rescue

During the Mingdu tournament, Original Huo Yuhao enters the underground Soul Engineer competition to investigate the Xishui Alliance and obtain rare metals. He wins a match using his Holy Necromancer Martial Soul, attracting Feng Ling’s interest. His spiritual body and clone later participate in the operation against Xu Tianran, including the destruction of an arsenal 184 188 202.

In the Undead Demiplane, he reunites with his own Electrolux. Witnessing the other Electrolux’s parental concern for his student moves him to tears. After the battle at Qiankun Asking Love Valley, his Soul Spirits encourage him to pursue his own future, and he completes the Three Forms of Emotion 207 211 213.

When Nan Qiuqiu asks him to rescue her mother, he joins the mission into the Sun Moon Empire. In Sunrise City, he defeats and purifies Wu Yun, investigates the water prison, and discovers Ma Xiaotao among its guards. He restrains and purifies Xiaotao, helps restore her memories, and secures her cooperation without exposing her to the Holy Spirit Cult 216 217 218.

Soul Spirits and the Spirit Pagoda

Before his counterpart’s departure, Original Huo Yuhao tells Wang Qiu’er that he knows she is the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and affirms his love for her. He asks her to introduce him to Di Tian so that he can propose Soul Spirits as a route toward peace between humans and Soul Beasts 226.

At the Lake of Life, he demonstrates his Soul Spirits and gains Di Tian’s support for the Spirit Pagoda plan. He then obtains an audience with the Silver Dragon King and transports the participants into his counterpart’s Undead Demiplane. The resulting cooperation leads to a Spirit Pagoda and an alliance built around peaceful contracts and a promise not to hunt Soul Beasts 227 230.

He also reconciles with Ju Zi, acknowledging their shared hatred of Dai Hao and declaring that he loves her. He promises to kill Xu Tianran and destroy the Holy Spirit Cult, leaving his avatar Long Haoxing to protect her 230.

Renewed Preparations Against Tang San

When his counterpart returns, Original Huo Yuhao reports that several women at Shrek have begun visiting him frequently. The visitor attributes their behavior to memories crossing between worldlines. Gu Yuena has also moved in with him and Qiu’er 340.

His counterpart’s split soul intensifies his training and warns him about Tang Wutong’s divine consciousness inside Qiu’er. Original Huo Yuhao agrees to protect Qiu’er while seeking an opportunity to extract it. As Xu Tianran moves to exploit Ju Zi for an heir, Original Huo Yuhao shelters her in the Temple of the Undead, disposes of the physician monitoring her, and uses an illusion to deceive the emperor. Later, after receiving Rong Nianbing’s inheritance, he fights Tang Wutong and the Tang San controlling her. Learning of his supposed future abandonment of revenge shakes his understanding of his own purpose 180 190 191.

His response is a growing commitment to self-determination. He wants strength not merely for revenge, but to protect those he loves and those who love him. His insistence on the surname Huo becomes part of his refusal to accept the future described to him 191 213.

He becomes more guarded and forceful after these revelations. Ma Xiaotao notices a new coldness in him, while he cuts short Xu Sanshi’s complaints to focus on the rescue mission. That caution coexists with tenderness: he patiently helps Xiaotao recover her identity and reassures Nan Qiuqiu when she asks for help 216 218 219.
