Several days later, no more God Level experts were arriving on Black Reef Island. Leijia silently counted on his fingers. From the first group to the last, it had been exactly thirty days, not one more or less.

Leijia swept the island with his divine sense. There were a full three hundred and sixty-one God Level experts on Black Reef Island.

Nearly three hundred of them were Lowgods, while only a little over sixty were Midgods.

Apart from Leijia, nearly all the God Level experts had come in groups.

The God Level experts gathered in twos and threes, forming their own little circles. Leijia, alone among them, stood out somewhat.

However, Leijia gave off the aura of a Midgod. Even though he was alone, no God Level expert was foolish enough to come looking for trouble with him.

"Ahem!" Among the many God Level experts, a long-bearded elder was the first to break the silence.

"Everyone, it's about time. Let the trading begin."

With a flip of the long-bearded elder's hand, a pale purple lotus appeared in it.

Stroking his beard with one hand and holding the purple lotus in the other, the long-bearded elder said with a smile, "Once consumed, this purple lotus can greatly increase one's soul strength. I'll trade it for a wonder that can strengthen the divine body, or a Highgod Artifact of Material Defense."

Leijia's eyes lit up at the elder's words. Heaven and Earth Wonders that could increase soul strength were rare, and the elder only wanted a Highgod Artifact of Material Defense for it.

The price might have been exorbitant to others, but Leijia had quite a few Highgod Artifacts in his interspatial ring, including two or three Highgod Artifacts of Material Defense.

Leijia said nothing, however. What mattered most to him now was finding information on the Planar Teleportation Array. A wonder that increased soul strength was something he could do without.

At the long-bearded elder's asking price, a voice immediately called out from the crowd, "How about five Midgod Artifacts? If someone really had a Highgod Artifact of Material Defense or a Heaven and Earth Wonder that could strengthen their divine body, who'd be willing to trade it away?"

The God Level expert's words drew laughter from the others on the island.

Highgod Artifacts were not precious to Highgods, but those were Highgods. Everyone present was either a Midgod or a Lowgod. Obtaining even one Highgod Artifact was a matter of luck for them, so how could they possibly offer one in trade?

As for Heaven and Earth Wonders, if one could truly strengthen a divine body, they would have used it long ago. How many would have kept it to trade on Black Reef Island?

Of the God Level experts present, not one responded to the long-bearded elder apart from the one who had laughingly offered Midgod Artifacts.

The elder was not surprised. For a Midgod, a Highgod Artifact of Material Defense or a Heaven and Earth Wonder that strengthened the divine body was no easier to obtain than this wondrous purple lotus. Anyone who had one would be unwilling to trade it away.

As for trading it for Midgod Artifacts and Midgod Sparks, the long-bearded elder was somewhat reluctant.

He might have had some chance of trading it to a Highgod for a Highgod Artifact of Material Defense, but these were not the days of the Sovereigns, when the legions under the Sovereigns and the troops of the various prefectures had provided a safeguard.

If a Highgod got any ideas, the long-bearded elder might lose not only his wondrous lotus, but even his own Divine Spark.

Although the long-bearded elder had not managed to trade away his wondrous lotus, he had made a start, and the other God Level experts brought out the treasures from their interspatial rings to exchange for what they needed.

The God Level experts had taken a month to gather on Black Reef Island, but the trading fair lasted only a single day.

Leijia also took the opportunity to trade a few Lowgod Sparks and several Midgod Artifacts for some trinkets that did little to increase his strength but were extremely interesting.

As the trading fair drew to a close, the vast majority of the God Level experts had obtained the items they wanted.

The long-bearded elder still had not traded away the purple lotus that could strengthen the soul.

Leijia silently moved over to the long-bearded elder and sent him a Soul Transmission. "Sir, would you trade that purple lotus to me?"

Hearing Leijia's transmission, the elder immediately smiled. "Do you have a Heaven and Earth Wonder that can strengthen a divine body's defense?"

"No," Leijia replied by transmission. "But I do have a Highgod Artifact of Material Defense."

At Leijia's words, the elder's eyes lit up at once. "A Highgod Artifact of Material Defense will do too."

Before the elder had finished speaking, Leijia interrupted him. "But besides the wonder, you'll have to agree to one condition."

"What condition?" the long-bearded elder asked at once, without any hesitation.

"It's simple enough. You just have to tell me the exact location of the Planar Teleportation Array in the Chaotic Sea."

"The Planar Teleportation Array?" The elder was taken aback, then gave a wry smile. "Forgive my limited knowledge. There are many places in the Chaotic Sea I've never been, and I don't know where the Planar Teleportation Array you speak of is."

Leijia sighed softly, unsurprised. After all, the Chaotic Sea was far larger than the Star Mist Sea and the several continents of the Infernal Realm. However knowledgeable the elder might be, he was only an ordinary Midgod, so it was only natural that he did not know where the Planar Teleportation Array was.

Leijia thought no more of it, but just as he was about to give up, the elder spoke again. "However, there is one place that might know about the Planar Teleportation Array you're looking for."

"Oh? Where is that?" Though he did not hold out much hope, Leijia asked instinctively.

"Black Kun Island," the elder said, enunciating each word.

"Black Kun Island? What kind of place is that?" The name seemed familiar to Leijia, but he could not remember where he had heard it.

"Black Kun Island is a large island in the Chaotic Sea. There are a great many Highgod experts on it, but most importantly, its lord, Uhtred, bears the title of the Chaotic Sea's number one expert. They say he once killed more than ten Highgod experts with a single move."

The elder smacked his lips as he spoke, seemingly holding the powerful lord of Black Kun Island in very high regard.

As an ordinary Midgod, the elder had to look up to even a regular Highgod, let alone a supreme expert like Uhtred, who had killed more than a dozen Highgods in one move.

"Uhtred, Uhtred. So it was him!"

Leijia thought to himself, No wonder the name Black Kun sounded familiar. The Sovereign of Destruction's real name is Uhtred, and isn't his true Divine Beast form a Black Kun? It seems this lord of Black Kun Island is almost certainly the Sovereign of Destruction.

Knowing that the lord of Black Kun Island was very likely the Sovereign of Destruction, Leijia quite wanted to meet him even without information on the Planar Teleportation Array, much less when the elder had said that Black Kun Island was very likely to have information on it.

Rubbing his chin, Leijia thought to himself, It seems I have to visit Black Kun Island.

Thirty years later, the long-bearded elder and Leijia flew over the sea, one ahead of the other. The outline of a giant island appeared before them in the distance.

Hovering in the air, the elder said to Leijia, "My lord, Black Kun Island is just ahead."

Over those thirty years, the two had traveled all the way from Black Reef Island to Black Kun Island. They had encountered quite a few powerful God Level experts along the way, including Highgods who had blocked their path, but Leijia had dealt with them all easily.

The elder also understood that the man before him, who appeared to have the strength of a Midgod, was actually a powerful expert who kept his abilities well hidden.
