"It's time."

Sensing the energy fluctuations caused by the collision of vast quantities of Sovereign's Might, Tristan knew that they had gathered as much as they could. The next step was to detonate it and begin creating the Water Divine Plane.

Bang!

The Water Sovereigns detonated countless quantities of Sovereign's Might, drawing in dense water elemental energy.

The seven Water Sovereigns simultaneously took control of the surrounding Water Element divine power, working in unspoken accord to create the Water Divine Plane according to the method for opening a Divine Plane contained in their Sovereign Sparks.

Opening a Divine Plane was an extremely complicated process, but none of the Sovereigns watching chose to leave. This was the first Divine Plane opened by the Sovereigns, and those watching did not want to leave just yet.

Quite a few Sovereigns and Sovereigns, like the Four Divine Beasts, were also worried that hostile Sovereigns would attack their companions or the Sovereigns under their command once the Divine Plane was complete.

Thus, the Sovereigns held one another in check amid the Spatial Turbulence. None dared leave first, and none dared attack anyone else, creating a delicate balance.

Opening a Divine Plane sounded grand, but the method had actually been completely inscribed in the Sovereign Sparks. The Water Sovereigns only had to follow the method in their Sovereign Sparks step by step to open the Water Divine Plane without any difficulty.

The only drawback was that opening a vast Divine Plane required an extremely complicated series of steps and an incredibly long time. The process was exceedingly dull and tedious.

Surrounded by countless fine particles of water elemental energy, Redding silently worked through the fusion of the Profound Mysteries of the Laws in his mind.

Opening a Divine Plane seemed like being dragged into hard labor by the Four Overgods, but it actually came with quite a few hidden benefits.

For example, the process of creating a Divine Plane greatly accelerated one's comprehension and fusion of the Profound Mysteries of the Laws.

As soon as Redding began opening the Divine Plane, he felt his understanding of the Profound Mysteries of the Laws instantly become much clearer.

Problems in fusing the Profound Mysteries that Redding had spent thousands of years trying to understand suddenly seemed to become clear to him.

Seizing this fleeting point of compatibility, Redding rapidly advanced toward fusing the sixth Profound Mystery.

It was not just Redding. The other six Water Sovereigns also gained insights of their own. With a tacit understanding, they all buried themselves in comprehending the Profound Mysteries of the Laws, and even the opening of the Divine Plane sped up considerably.

The rapid progress on the Divine Plane baffled the Sovereigns backing several of the Water Sovereigns. Hadn't they agreed to muddle through and do as little work as possible?

How was it that they were opening it so quickly, putting in even more effort than Tristan, the Water Element Sovereign?

The seven Water Sovereigns paid no attention to what the Sovereigns of the other elements thought. They were genuinely delighted.

As they opened the Divine Plane, their comprehension of the Profound Mysteries of the Laws seemed to accelerate. Comprehending them nearly a hundred times faster, the Sovereigns did not dare stop for a moment, afraid that the speed would vanish the instant they did.

Through the combined efforts of the seven Water Sovereigns, the embryonic form of a Divine Plane gradually took shape.

The Water Divine Plane had seven continents in all. Each of the seven Sovereigns formed one, and they encircled the center in a ring, like those of the Infernal Realm. The continents varied in size, depending on how much Sovereign's Might each Sovereign had gathered while opening the Divine Plane.

The more Sovereign's Might a Sovereign gathered, the larger the continent's area.

Of the seven Sovereigns, the continent formed by Tristan, the Water Element Sovereign, was visibly the largest, followed by those of the two Mid-level Sovereigns, then the four Lower Sovereigns.

Redding's continent was the largest among those of the four Lower Sovereigns, but he did not want to stand out, so he did not go too far. His continent was only about eighty percent the size of those of the two Mid-level Sovereigns. It stood out somewhat among those of the other Lower Sovereigns, but was still within an acceptable range.

After all, the size of the continent had no bearing on the boost to his comprehension of the Profound Mysteries. No matter how large the continent was, his progress in comprehension would remain the same, so Redding naturally did not want to expend extra effort to make his continent larger.

Besides the continents, there was an inland sea enclosed at the center by the seven continents. In addition to seawater rich in water elemental energy, the inland sea contained many small islands scattered across it.

The Sovereigns had not deliberately created these islands. Rather, they formed from power leaking out as some Sovereigns controlled it while building the continents, and from fragments breaking off as parts of the continents formed.

While opening his continent, Redding's precise control over the Profound Mysteries of the Laws meant that his continent suffered the fewest collapses of the seven Sovereigns. This was also why his continent was far larger than those of the other Lower Sovereigns, nearly matching those of the two Mid-level Sovereigns.

As time passed, the seven continents gradually took shape. The Sovereigns felt their comprehension of the Profound Mysteries of the Laws gradually slowing, and the opening of the Water Divine Plane was nearing its end.

Redding could clearly sense that the fusion of the six Profound Mysteries of the Laws in his mind was eighty to ninety percent complete. He only needed one more point of compatibility to fuse all six completely, become a Paragon, and receive a portion of Might of the Will as a reward from the Laws of the Universe.

As the Water Divine Plane gradually took shape, the other Water Sovereigns, not just Redding, also made great strides in fusing the Laws.

This was especially true of Tristan. Although he had refined the Water Element High Sovereign Spark, he had originally fused only three Profound Mysteries, which was also why he was among the weakest Sovereigns.

While opening the Water Divine Plane, Tristan made rapid progress from having fused three Profound Mysteries of the Laws. Not only did he completely fuse the fourth, he also partially fused the fifth.

Tristan's strength could now be said to have risen greatly. He might still be unable to defeat some powerful Sovereigns, but at least he would not have to flee in such a sorry state.

Eighty thousand years later, Redding and the other six joined forces to complete the final step recorded in their Sovereign Sparks, and construction of the Water Divine Plane was finished.

Land, mountains, lakes, rivers, oceans...

The moment the Water Divine Plane was completed, the Laws of the Universe descended once more. Four pillars of light fell from the sky, landing at random in different parts of the Water Divine Plane.

Three of the beams landed on the continents opened by Redding, Tristan, and the Mid-level Sovereign whom Tristan had placed on his must-kill list, respectively.

The last beam landed on an island in the ocean.

The island was closest to the positions of Redding and another Lower Sovereign.

The light of the Laws of the Universe faded, revealing a Planar Teleportation Array on the continent Redding had opened. The array bore four intricate magical patterns, each leading to one of the Four Overgod Planes.

At the same time, a teleportation array leading to the Water Divine Plane quietly appeared at each of the teleportation array sites in the Four Overgod Planes, as well as among the teleportation arrays leading to the outside world in countless Material Planes.
