What is known is that Moria's Dark Castle is located in the Triangle, and it is a large ship resembling an island, but without magnetism. Although the area of the mist is neither large nor small, ships can easily wander into it.
Behind the Florian Triangle lies only one island, the Sabaody Archipelago. Several shipping routes in the first half of the Grand Line converge at Sabaody, and ships heading to the New World will generally arrive here first. Once there, it's not far from Marine Headquarters, which is why Vic asked this question.
"No need, going to headquarters is too much trouble. Let's just go to Red Port, cross the Red Line, and resupply at the G-1 Branch!"
Garp had already made plans. He needed to make the most of his time this time; otherwise, he wouldn't have chosen to travel along the Red Line, a place he didn't like.
"Aren't you going to pass by Fish-Man Island? I was hoping to see that underwater island; I heard it's a magical and beautiful place with lots of beautiful mermaids. What a pity!"
Vic really wanted to visit Fish-Man Island. The scenery and mermaids were only part of it; he was more interested in seeing if the lost Road Poneglyph was still there.
Some say Roger took the signpost, while others say Whitebeard hid it. If it's no longer there, it's more likely that Roger took it and hid it. It's just that we can't go there now; we can only wait until Vic leads the team himself to go.
" Vic! Are mermaids really that beautiful? I heard that mermaids have big fish tails, and their structure is very different from ours. Do you like that kind of thing?"
Rebecca's heart sank upon hearing Vic's words. Had Vic been ignoring her advances because he was attracted to mermaids? Was his dream wife a mermaid?
But can humans and mermaids really get together? I've never heard of such a thing! Rebecca felt very wronged, her voice trembling with tears, and her lips pursed.
"Hahaha! I've heard that mermaids are indeed very beautiful, but I'm more curious about this race. I've heard that when mermaids reach a certain age, their tails recede and they grow legs. Isn't that amazing?"
And then there are their descendants, none of them seem to look alike, not even close to their parents. What if they get cheated on by the neighbor... cough cough!
My main goal is to see the underwater world and its inhabitants!
Vic stroked the rabbit's head with one hand and Rebecca's head, who was leaning closer, with the other. Rebecca's emotions were obvious, and Vic could tell at a glance. He gave a rough explanation, which almost made the neighbor next door cry.
Vic's words had some effect, but the most effective thing was his stroking of Rebecca's head. Rebecca used to dislike Vic touching her like that, feeling that she was like a little child.
But now that she's grown up, she no longer resists or is immune to Vic's touch. Her eyes narrow with a look of pure enjoyment, like a little kitten. She doesn't really listen to much of what Vic says; Vic comforting presence is enough for her.
Ain was very unhappy to see this, so she threw the rabbit in her hand aside, went to Vic's side, snatched the rabbit from his hand, and threw it aside as well.
The rabbit was a little confused, its two red eyes scanning back and forth. Where am I? What am I doing? Why did that comfortable feeling suddenly disappear?
Ignoring the rabbit's bewilderment, Ain placed the hand that Vic had just used to stroke the rabbit on her head. Vic, without showing favoritism, gently stroked it as well. Whether Ain was genuinely comfortable or pretending, she also showed an expression of enjoyment.
Wendy and the others were used to this scene. One was a beautiful young woman, and the other was still a child, but this combination looked like they were fighting over a man, which made them both laugh and cry. However, the spicy rabbit meat was really delicious!
The route was already set, so there was nothing more to say. The Dog-Head Warship headed straight for Red Port. Vic had nothing much to do on the warship; besides training, he was also cultivating his relationship with Rabbit.
Those that died during breeding were given spicy or barbecued meat, but the number of rabbits didn't decrease; in fact, it increased, as if their breeding cycle had shortened.
However, Ain has plenty of carrots. Carrots have a short growth cycle, maturing in just a few months. Without the burden of the name "Return-Return Fruit," and with Vic's guidance, Ain can now push back the time of objects or creatures.
Although it won't take as long as going back, it can still be done in a few months. There's no problem supplying a large batch of carrots every day, and the rabbits have all been fattened up by Ain, making them taste much better.
A week passed, Dog-Head Warship did not land on any islands. It bypassed the Florian Triangle, the Sabaody Archipelago, and Enies Lobby, and arrived directly at Red Port beneath the Red Line.
This place is always bustling. Those who dare not venture to the underwater Fish-Man Island come here to pay a fee to cross the Red Line to the New World, but they all generally have a public identity.
Pirates generally don't come here. It's heavily guarded, and it's very close to Marine Headquarters and Mary Geoise, so they can get support quickly. Pirates would rather go underwater than risk coming here.
Therefore, there are quite a few ships traveling between the New World and the first half of the line, making the business quite busy. However, the Hero of the Marines's warships naturally have priority in going to the New World, so the Dog-Head Warship was immediately assigned as soon as a vacant crane slot became available.
The elevator system built by the World Government is somewhat effective; it's much safer than the one on Fish-Man Island. It's just unclear what kind of power it uses. If it's manually powered, that would be disastrous.
Vic had visited the Red Line once before, but he only explored the edge, saw some incredible sights, and left immediately. Moreover, it was nighttime with thunder and rain, so he barely saw any of the Red Line's scenery.
But this time, Vic could see it very clearly. The Red Line was uniform in color, but for some reason, it seemed barren, with no trace of plant growth.
The only plant that can be considered is the Sunlight Tree Eve, which is not far away. However, Eve has penetrated the Red Line and taken root in the seabed, so strictly speaking, it does not grow on the Red Line.
As for the plants in Mary Geoise, they were all grown using soil transported from the lower realms. It's also possible that they were directly transplanted from the Four Blues or the Grand Line. If plants could grow on the Red Line, it probably wouldn't be called the Red Line; it would be called the Green Line.
Because so many years have passed, it must be covered with all sorts of plants, so the Red Line must have something special about it. Apart from its vastness and emptiness, Vic didn't feel anything else. He wouldn't casually use his Observation Haki to observe the situation inside Mary Geoise now.
The crossing of the Red Line went smoothly without anything particularly unusual. However, Vic noticed that more people were paying attention to him now; he was no longer just a background figure for the old man.
This shows that Vic is a well-known figure on the high seas. Defeating the Golden Lion was quite a topic of discussion, and his strength and reputation were both recognized. After the warship left the Red Line, it continued towards the G-1 Branch, which was very close and arrived in a short time.
