Shira grew stronger through Taijutsu, built ties with Gaara and others, and took on increasingly dangerous missions. After reaching Konoha and searching for Rock Lee, he finally met him, but Lee did not recognize him.
Shira trained with Konoha’s Taijutsu practitioners, survived a border battle, and returned from four years of Qi training to become a Jonin and strengthen Sunagakure. He helped restore Koyuki’s rule and fought in the Fourth Shinobi World War, then awoke from a month-long coma to find Sunagakure rebuilding.
