Ye Lingtian was originally a student on Earth. After an accident, he was reborn in the immortal cultivation world and noticed something unusual about his body from childhood. Learning that immortal cultivators existed, he sought out the Primordial Sect. His Metal Spiritual Root and Innate Sword Embryo led Xie Ningshuang to accept him immediately, making him the sect’s youngest true disciple at the time 10.

Several elders also taught him while Xie Ningshuang was away. Mo Changfeng, Yao Qingtang, and Liu Hao remained invested in his development, although some still regretted losing the opportunity to become his formal master. Personality

Ye Lingtian openly dislikes trouble and prefers quiet cultivation to sect activities. He initially attends recruitment only because the sect master threatens to send him traveling if he refuses. His avoidance of public activities earns him the nickname “Reclusive Cultivator,” while his familiar exchanges with elders show a teasing, irreverent side 6 15 34 35.

Despite his complaints, he takes responsibility for those entrusted to him. He provides Qian Renxue with shelter, instruction, and equipment, explains unfamiliar concepts without ridiculing her ignorance, and acknowledges that sensing Qi depends on her own comprehension rather than promising an instant solution 11 13 16 33.

In combat, he combines preparation with caution. He lures Soul-Devouring Zhenren into a formation and refuses to approach even after gaining the upper hand. However, he also deliberately tests his Golden Core limits against Baihuaxiang before revealing his strongest safeguards.
