After learning Clouds and Water Share the Same Sky, he traveled to Cang Province with Fang Xiao to hunt a toad demon, leaving a strange jade-glowing toad behind.

• Chen Shuangbai and Liu Wenyan emerged from the blessed land with its treasures, and Gongye Chun shielded Chen Shuangbai from accusations before joining the Jade Spring Sect as a guest elder.
