"What, does no one dare come up and fight me?" Whitehead, the Saint-level Tyrannosaurus, fixed his enormous, wheel-sized eyes on the distant Human Race Saint-level powerhouses with an imposing glare.

Although the rules theoretically allowed anyone to challenge anyone, those who were weak naturally would not step forward to invite humiliation. Besides, they were divided into two camps, humans and dragons, so after Whitehead entered the arena, he naturally waited for a human Saint-level fighter to challenge him.

Only after all the capable human Saint-level fighters had been defeated would it be the dragons' turn to fight among themselves.

"Leave this big fellow to me." A clear, lovely female voice suddenly rang out. The woman wore flowing white priestly robes and had long golden hair, features as exquisite as an angel's, and a sacred air about her eyes and brows. Her distinctive bearing was very captivating.

"You again!" The enormous Tyrant Dragon's surging aura instantly enveloped the battle area, his gaze locking onto this seemingly delicate human woman. Her troublesome holy light techniques severely restricted his ability to bring his strength to bear.

"Miss Shelley's profound mysteries of holy light reached the peak of the Saint-level long ago, and they happen to counter this Tyrant Dragon. She should be able to take this big fellow down." Lawson had temporarily calmed down by now and turned his attention to the two combatants.

"Human, die!" Whitehead, the Saint-level Tyrannosaurus, was clearly a thoroughly ferocious creature. A layer of pitch-black elemental energy gathered over his savage dragon claws, which tore through the sky toward Shelley in an instant, swift as thunder that left no time to cover one's ears. With those claws' sharpness and force, a solid hit would probably crush her body in an instant.

But Miss Shelley seemed to turn into pure white holy light, vanishing from her spot in an instant. Powerful as Whitehead's swipe was, it struck nothing but air.

"So fast." This was Luo Ao's first time seeing anyone move so quickly. She truly lived up to being a peak Saint-level expert who cultivated the Laws of Light.

"Holy Light Dissolution!" The sacred-looking Miss Shelley formed a peculiar gesture with both hands, then waved them, sending shafts of strange white holy light as thick as buckets onto Whitehead's claws. The dark elemental energy gathered on them visibly began to dissolve, like snow meeting sunlight.

"Troublesome creature!" Whitehead grew irritated. His comprehension of the Darkness Law was nowhere near as deep as Shelley's, so being countered was only natural. What he excelled at was close-quarters combat, but unfortunately, Shelley was simply too fast. He could not land a hit on her at all.

Thus, in an instant, the battle turned into a scene of Miss Shelley using Whitehead as a target.

Whether Whitehead spat out dark elemental projectiles or tried to catch her movements with his claws, all his attacks struck empty air.

Shelley, by contrast, unleashed an endless variety of strange holy light attacks, sending one attack after another from her hands. Despite Whitehead's astonishing defenses, as the battle dragged on, his wounds grew increasingly severe, and he gradually began to find them too much to bear.

"Roar!" Only when the sturdy scales covering his body had been battered nearly to pieces did Whitehead formally concede.

One had to admit that Tyrant Dragons truly possessed astonishing physiques. Even though he was no match for Shelley, he had held out for a long time before finally losing.

"I'll go next." Seeing Whitehead lose, Elton, the Golden Dragon who had initially guarded this valley, suddenly charged into the battle area.

"This Golden Dragon has also comprehended the profound mysteries of velocity within the Laws of Light. Fighting him could be dangerous for Miss Shelley." The man in crimson armor beside Lawson looked somewhat worried. His name was Wayne, and he too was an expert whose strength was second only to the peak Saint-level.

"Let's keep watching for now. If Miss Shelley is in danger, we'll concede." Lawson remained composed. Of the five Saint-level dragons, aside from the Lava Dragon and that mysterious dragon, the other three were all weaker than the peak Saint-level.

Although Elton the Golden Dragon also cultivated the Laws of Light, his comprehension was nowhere near as profound as Shelley's. Moreover, the profound mysteries he had comprehended dealt purely with speed and did not provide much of a boost to his offensive power.

At that moment, in the battle area at the center of the canyon, Shelley merely furrowed her lovely dark brows slightly at Elton the Golden Dragon's challenge before calmly facing him.

"Take this! Holy Dragon Phantom!" Elton the Golden Dragon wasted no time, opening with his newest self-created ultimate move. His speed was terrifying. The instant his words fell, dazzling white flashes began to flare repeatedly over his body.

Each time a white flash lit up, another enormous Saint-level Golden Dragon appeared in the sky. The flashes came at an astonishing rate, and almost in the blink of an eye, more than a hundred Saint-level Golden Dragons filled the sky above the canyon.

"Elton's mastery of the laws has improved quite a bit again," Lawson murmured as he watched Elton's figures fill nearly the entire battle area. During their last battle, this fellow had apparently been unable to produce over a hundred light and shadow doppelgangers.

"So these are the profound mysteries of doppelgangers within the Laws of Light? Truly wondrous." It was Luo Ao's first time seeing this kind of power of the laws, and he could not help being very curious.

Unfortunately, the profound mysteries of the doppelganger technique seemed to exist only within the three elements of wind, light, and darkness.

"Elton, this move of yours has indeed grown much stronger, but against me, it's useless!" Shelley's clear, lovely voice carried through the sky. There was not a trace of panic on her face; she had not been intimidated by the grandeur of his move.

She carefully studied the hundred-odd "Golden Dragons," knowing full well that most were merely "light and shadow doppelgangers" meant to confuse her. The only one that could truly threaten her was Elton's real body.

"Try it, and you'll know whether it's useless!" Elton laughed thunderously. Immediately afterward, another white flash suddenly blazed forth, so dazzling that even Luo Ao and the others involuntarily narrowed their eyes.

Yet at that very moment, the Saint-level Golden Dragon's claw silently arrived before Shelley and slashed straight across her with a ripping sound!

"Miss Shelley!"

Everyone on the Human Race's side cried out in alarm, and Wayne let out a particularly anguished, piercing shout.

Had Miss Shelley died just like that? Everyone found it somewhat hard to believe.

Fortunately, however, not a drop of blood spilled from the body torn apart by those sharp dragon claws. Instead, "Miss Shelley's" figure began to dissipate slowly. What he had struck was merely an afterimage!

"Your speed has indeed improved considerably. Unfortunately, it's still of little use against me!" Shelley's clear, lovely voice rang out high in the sky once again.

Elton the Golden Dragon looked toward Shelley's unharmed figure in the distance, his expression growing solemn. When had she changed positions? He had actually failed to notice.

"That move seems quite ingenious!" Seeing the technique Miss Shelley had just used, Luo Ao could not help his eyes lighting up. She seemed to have used some means to put a great distance between them in an instant, leaving behind a solid-looking phantom capable of deceiving everyone.

This technique was different from the doppelganger technique, but its speed was just as terrifying.

From this move alone, Luo Ao could determine that Miss Shelley was definitely no slower than Elton the Golden Dragon, who had comprehended the profound mysteries of the "light and shadow doppelganger."

A wave of subdued cries of alarm had just swept through the entire great canyon, followed immediately by silence.

On the Human Race's side in particular, everyone had been shaken by that heart-stopping scene.

"Is that so?" Elton's tone turned cold. He had not expected that even after advancing further in his comprehension of the laws, he would still be unable to do anything to Shelley. She really was a difficult opponent.

"But defeating me won't be so easy either!" Elton had created "Holy Dragon Phantom" himself based on his comprehension of the "Laws of Light." It did not greatly enhance his attacks, but it was fast and offered astonishing life-preserving capabilities.

Although he could not take Shelley down for the time being, it would not be so easy for her to break through this move and defeat him either.
