The red mole beneath Gu Xiao's collarbone
"A-Xiao, this weekend is so boring. Want to go to T-C for some fun?"
T-C was a money pit controlled by the Ji family, with staggering daily takings. Each member of F4 held a small stake-not much, but enough to let them do whatever they pleased inside T-C.
At Feng Ji's suggestion, Fu Huai took off his gold-rimmed glasses, tugged at his silver tie, and said expressionlessly, "Do you want some fun, or do you want to see whether A-Chuan is there?"
Exposed, Feng Ji did not get angry. Instead, he blinked and tilted up his baby face. Showing a pointed canine, he said with a beaming smile, "So what if I do? That won't stop us from having fun."
"If you want to go, let's go."
Gu Xiao pulled off his tie, tossed it aside, and undid three buttons, revealing a small stretch of pale collarbone.
His collarbones were very straight, and beneath the left one was a red mole, tiny and alluring.
Gu Xiao normally kept his clothes buttoned up tight, leaving hardly any chance to see that red mole.
But when Gu Xiao took his clothes off, attention would not be focused on his collarbone either...
Fu Huai's and Feng Ji's gazes lingered for only a second before quickly moving away.
"A-Xiao, why are you throwing your tie around?" Fu Huai bent down helplessly and picked it up. "I'll hold on to it for you."
Gu Xiao was indifferent. "Suit yourself."
Feng Ji secretly rolled his eyes. Hold on to it? That bastard Fu Huai probably had no intention of ever giving it back to A-Xiao.
That tie had practically been pressed against A-Xiao's neck. It was bound to carry a rich iris fragrance.
Feng Ji smoothed away his expression, licked his pointed canine, and curled his lips into a smile. "Then let's go."
F4 appearing at T-C was a major event.
Previously, the sons of those nouveau riche had not feared these young men, who had only recently come of age, at all.
Last year, for Gu Xiao's coming-of-age celebration, Ji Chuan had taken charge and arranged the birthday banquet at T-C. An alpha who did not know his place had taken a fancy to an omega attending the banquet and tried to force his way in. To this day, the whereabouts of that alpha and a whole string of his relatives remained unknown.
F4's power was not confined to Aisili.
Thus, when T-C welcomed these three great Buddhas, every employee had to be on the utmost alert.
Of course, they were excited too.
These precious young masters were very generous.
As long as they could get some little trinket casually given away by them, they could live without worrying about food or clothing for the rest of their lives, provided their material ambitions were not too great.
Of course, the men and women working in this money pit, whether A, B, or O, all had strong material ambitions.
With a cigarette between his lips, Gu Xiao sat in the corner of a booth. The shifting lights flickered, making his dark features look otherworldly, his handsome looks unmatched.
After dyeing his hair back to black, Gu Xiao's entire bearing had become much more restrained, like a sharp sword returned to its sheath, making people itch to reach out and see whether they could draw it.
Watching Gu Xiao lounge there, Feng Ji said helplessly, "A-Xiao, what happened to having fun? You're not lighting your cigarette or drinking. What's with just sitting there?"
Gu Xiao moved his tongue, nudging the cigarette to point another way, and scoffed. "Play if you want. Who's stopping you?"
From Feng Ji's angle, he could just see a small stretch of soft red tongue.
Feng Ji's Adam's apple bobbed several times. He made a snap decision, stood, walked over to Gu Xiao, and took out a lighter.
"Young Master Gu, care to do me the honor?" Despite his baby face, Feng Ji's smile was wicked. "How about I light your cigarette myself?"
Gu Xiao glanced at Feng Ji. "What, you're that eager to wait on someone?"
Feng Ji did not get angry at that either, maintaining his pose to light Gu Xiao's cigarette. "Waiting on our Young Master Gu is my greatest honor."
Feng Ji spoke very sincerely, but his tone held a hint of teasing.
Gu Xiao nudged the cigarette again and smiled at Feng Ji. "What, are you flirting with me?"
Before Feng Ji could figure out what Gu Xiao meant, Gu Xiao had gripped his chin.
Only thirty percent of his strength was enough to leave red marks on Feng Ji's chin.
"A-Xiao," Feng Ji said indistinctly, "if you want to flirt with me, you're more than welcome."
Boring.
Gu Xiao released him and tipped his chin at Feng Ji, signaling for him to light the cigarette.
With a click, a flame flared briefly, then quickly went out.
Gu Xiao took a deep drag without letting it pass his throat, then gently blew a smoke ring into Feng Ji's face.
Feng Ji's pupils trembled violently.
"A-Xiao, you..."
Gu Xiao gave a playful smile. "Now that is flirting."
Veins bulged on Feng Ji's hand as he gripped the lighter.
Had the lighter not been expensive and sturdy enough, he would have crushed it.
Feng Ji's eyes darkened. A face was reflected in his black eyes: Gu Xiao's.
"A-Xiao, when are you going to visit the manor I prepared for you?" Feng Ji said softly. "I prepared a whole wall of cigarettes for you."
Gu Xiao held the cigarette between his fingers, letting it slowly burn.
"No," Gu Xiao said flatly. "I don't like the smell of smoke."
Feng Ji: "..."
He even suspected A-Xiao was deliberately needling him.
"What a waste not to smoke it." Perfectly composed, Feng Ji took the cigarette from between Gu Xiao's fingers, placed it between his own lips, and even stuck out his tongue to lick it. "I like this taste."
Beneath the bar, Feng Ji received a kick to the shin, neither light nor hard.
It was Fu Huai.
Feng Ji raised his eyebrows smugly at Fu Huai. Hah, why bother pretending?
Gu Xiao paid little attention to Feng Ji's behavior. Instead, he picked up a glass of alcohol and took a small sip.
Fu Huai said calmly, "A-Xiao, that's my drink. I've drunk from it."
Gu Xiao: "..."
I want to wash my mouth.
Feng Ji frowned and looked at Fu Huai with considerable displeasure.
"Keep your things farther away," Gu Xiao said unhappily. "Where's my glass?"
Fu Huai showed little reaction to Gu Xiao's utter sense of entitlement. Instead, he personally brought Young Master Gu's glass to his hand. "Yours."
It was still the pink drink.
He had drunk it once on his birthday last week, and someone had prepared it when he came to T-C.
Gu Xiao pressed his lips together, not particularly pleased.
Anyone would be annoyed to have their preferences pinned down.
"That person singing up there looks a little familiar..." The not entirely unfamiliar voice made Feng Ji look over warily.
Fu Huai was cold. "It's He Shuyu."
"What?" Feng Ji laughed in anger. "How does he still dare show his face in front of us?"
Gu Xiao tapped the table, signaling for Feng Ji to calm down. "This is the Ji family's territory. Do you think Ji Chuan would know he's here?"
Gu Xiao's tone was very calm, as though he were discussing something inconsequential.
Feng Ji's brows knitted tightly. He asked hesitantly, "A-Xiao, do you... have a problem with A-Chuan?"
"What do you think?" Gu Xiao looked at him with a smile. "From my birthday until now, he has never once shown up."
