Chiba Yeyou joined First High’s Public Morals Committee, worked on Tiffany’s CAD, and became entangled in the dispute over Course 2 students. As Blanche’s influence and attacks surfaced, Yeyou fought the intruders and took a captured magician toward their hideout.
Chiba Yeyou helped expose Blanche, joined First High’s technical team, and developed closer ties with Mayumi Saegusa and Miyuki Shiba. As the Nine Schools Competition began, Mari Watanabe took the lead in Battle Board after a mysterious girl disrupted the water.
Chiba Yeyou’s CAD work helped First High School’s competitors dominate the opening events, while his Quantum Shatter stunned the competition. After an attempt to sabotage Mari Watanabe’s race failed, First High School continued winning, and the arc left Third High School reassessing its chances against Tatsuya Shiba and Chiba Yeyou.
Chiba Yeyou exposed No Head Dragon’s attempts to sabotage First High School and helped the team recover from an attack before joining Tatsuya Shiba and Leonhart Saijo in Monolith Code. After guiding First High to the finals, Chiba defeated Shinkuro Kichijoji with a mysterious microscopic interference spell, drawing the attention of powerful observers.
Chiba Yeyou helped First High win the Nine Schools Competition, dismantled No Head Dragon’s Japan branch, and became involved in efforts to protect the school and Tatsuya Shiba from factions pursuing a Relic. The stretch ended with Chiba and Mari Watanabe confronting Lü Ganghu at the detention center after Isao Sekimoto disclosed his group’s plan.
