Chiba Yeyou, Mari Watanabe, and Mayumi Saegusa confronted Lü Ganghu after he entered the detention center, intent on reaching his target. Mari defeated him with her weapon after he used a shield prepared to counter Chiba Yeyou’s magic, leaving him incapacitated.

• Lü Ganghu walked directly toward Chiba Yeyou, Mari Watanabe, and Mayumi Saegusa, and Chiba questioned how easily he had entered the detention center.
• Lü Ganghu recognized Chiba Yeyou from the information Chris Chen had given him, including a defensive Activation Sequence designed to counter Chiba’s magic.
• Mari Watanabe explained that she had summoned extra help because the detention center’s security worried her, then stepped forward to capture Lü Ganghu.
• Mari attacked Lü Ganghu with her segmented weapon as he tried to get past her and charge at Chiba Yeyou.
• Lü Ganghu blocked Chiba Yeyou’s white beam with a blue shield, but Mari struck him from behind and slashed his shoulders, leaving him unable to fight.

After Lü Ganghu was captured, Douglas Chen sought Mr. Zhou’s help, and learned that Lü would be transferred the next day. A rescue team ambushed the prisoner transport, freed Lü, and took him away, leaving him wary of Mari Watanabe.

• Mari Watanabe asked Mayumi Saegusa to stay and help handle the aftermath, while Chiba Yeyou left alone.
• Douglas Chen told Mr. Zhou that his homeland was sending a fleet and asked for help rescuing Lü Ganghu.
• Mr. Zhou revealed that Lü Ganghu would be transferred to the prison for foreigners in Yokosuka the next day, and Douglas Chen agreed to try to keep the operation from affecting Cosmos Street.
• A rescue team bombed the police transport carrying Lü Ganghu, freed him from his shackles, and asked him to return for the next mission.
• Lü Ganghu crushed the overturned vehicle with magic, then left with the rescue team after deciding Mari Watanabe was more dangerous than Chiba Yeyou.

Chiba Yeyou and Erika Chiba arrived at the Thesis Competition’s opening ceremony, met Kyoko Fujibayashi, and joined their friends in the auditorium. As the ceremony was about to begin, Erika went to greet Tatsuya and Miyuki, while Chiba Yeyou’s friends teased him for seeming unlike a normal high school student.

• Chiba Yeyou and Erika Chiba arrived at the Yokohama International Conference Center and spoke with Kyoko Fujibayashi, who said she had finished helping someone with a problem.
• Chiba Yeyou and Erika entered the auditorium, met Mikihiko Yoshida, Mizuki Shibata, and Leonhart, and Erika admitted that the man waving at them was her older brother.
• As attendees filled the auditorium before the opening ceremony, Erika spotted Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba and went over to see them.
• Mizuki Shibata and the others called Chiba Yeyou laid-back and unlike a normal high school student, and he wondered how he differed from Tatsuya Shiba.

Kyoko Fujibayashi confronted Haruka Ono about her interest in Tatsuya Shiba and warned her to leave him alone. After learning that Lü Ganghu had escaped during a prisoner transfer, Kyoko coordinated with Harunobu Kazama, who suggested seeking Chiba Yeyou’s help if the situation worsened.

• Kyoko Fujibayashi met Haruka Ono and asked her to stop investigating her important partner, Tatsuya Shiba, warning her that excessive curiosity could be dangerous.
• Kyoko Fujibayashi cautioned Haruka Ono against being curious about certain people, prompting Haruka to suspect Chiba Yeyou.
• Kyoko Fujibayashi contacted Harunobu Kazama and learned that Lü Ganghu had escaped after his escort vehicle was attacked on the way to Yokosuka Prison.
• Harunobu Kazama told Kyoko Fujibayashi that his team was heading to her location and would arrive around 3:00 p.m.
• Harunobu Kazama suggested that Kyoko Fujibayashi ask Chiba Yeyou for help if the situation deteriorated, and Kyoko acknowledged the order.

Jumonji strengthened security after Hattori and Kirihara detected unusual activity around the conference center, while Suzune Ichihara presented First High School’s gravity-controlled nuclear fusion reactor. As a Cosmic Nation force deployed at Yokohama Port and a mysterious submarine watched, Chiba Yeyou sensed that something had arrived.

• Jumonji ordered Hattori and Kirihara to patrol the venue’s perimeter, and after they reported increased foreign presence and killing intent, he ordered security personnel to wear bulletproof vests.
• Suzune Ichihara presented First High School’s gravity-controlled nuclear fusion reactor and explained that a stable reaction still lacked a solution to electromagnetic repulsion.
• A Cosmic Nation general reported that his force’s deployment at Yokohama Port was complete, while an unmarked submarine observed the operation from offshore.
• Mr. Zhou watched from Cosmic Street as Suzune concluded her presentation, and Chiba Yeyou suddenly sensed that something had arrived.

A coordinated attack struck Yamashita Pier and the Yokohama International Conference Center, forcing Toshikazu Chiba to seek military support while Chiba Yeyou and Tatsuya Shiba defended the students. The attackers’ weapons were disabled, but fighting continued around the conference center.

• A truck loaded with explosives rammed the control building at Yamashita Pier and exploded.
• Toshikazu Chiba learned that missiles had been launched from a disguised ship and asked his father to request National Defense Forces support and send Raimaru and Orochimaru.
• A grenade exploded at the Yokohama International Conference Center as armed attackers moved to surround the auditorium.
• Two soldiers entered the auditorium and ordered everyone to surrender their casting devices, while Chiba Yeyou and Tatsuya Shiba prepared to fight back.
• Chiba Yeyou melted the guns of two soldiers, Tatsuya Shiba used Decomposition on the other attackers’ weapons, and the security personnel moved to seize them.

Chiba Yeyou and the others fought off intruders at the Yokohama International Conference Center and prepared to evacuate as attacks continued. When they learned that Nakajo's group was using an underground passage, they sent Hattori and Zemu after them to prevent an encounter with enemy forces.

• Honoka Mitsui checked on Tatsuya Shiba, while Chiba Yeyou assigned Takeaki Kirihara to handle nearby intruders and protect the students.
• Chiba Yeyou split up with Tatsuya Shiba's group to clear the conference center, sending Erika Chiba and Leonhart to attack intruders while he used Cloud Mist and Ashes.
• Chiba Yeyou's group returned backstage, where Suzune Ichihara reported that the data deletion was nearly complete and Tatsuya Shiba returned with his group.
• Jumonji warned that the situation was very bad, and Tatsuya Shiba raised concern that Nakajo's group could meet enemy forces in the underground passage.

As enemy forces attacked Yokohama, Chiba Yeyou and the First High students prepared to reach safety while uncovering the likely target: the Magic Association’s main database. Tatsuya Shiba destroyed a truck bomb with Material Burst, and Major Kazama arrived as the National Defense Force prepared a counterattack and lifted the information restrictions on Tatsuya.

• Chiba Yeyou and the others reviewed surveillance footage showing that Yokohama’s coastal area had become a combat zone and concluded that the enemy might be targeting the Magic Association’s main database.
• Mayumi Saegusa reported that a rescue ship would arrive in ten minutes, but it could not carry everyone, so Mari Watanabe proposed taking shelter at the station.
• Suzune Ichihara reported that Hattori had protected Nakajo and the others at the shelter, where they faced only a small number of enemies.
• Chiba Yeyou sensed an approaching threat and used Quantum Domain to show the group a truck packed with explosives; Tatsuya Shiba erased the truck and its driver with Material Burst.
• Kyoko Fujibayashi and Major Kazama arrived, and Kazama reported that the National Defense Force had engaged seven enemy squads but had not brought the fighting under control.
• Kyoko Fujibayashi told Tatsuya Shiba that the information restrictions on him had been temporarily lifted.

At Hodogaya, Harunobu Kazama revealed that Tatsuya Shiba was a military Special Officer and ordered him to deploy. Chiba Yeyou learned that a hostile nuclear submarine was targeting the Magic Association Yokohama Branch and warned the others, leaving them to consider how its operators’ plans related to the landing force.

• Harunobu Kazama introduced himself and had Kyoko Fujibayashi explain the fighting near Hodogaya and the incoming reinforcements.
• Kazama ordered Tatsuya Shiba to deploy under special service regulations and required everyone to keep his identity confidential.
• Tiffany warned Chiba Yeyou that a decommissioned American nuclear submarine near Japan had fallen into criminal hands and carried nuclear missiles.
• Chiba Yeyou told Kazama and the others that the submarine was targeting the Magic Association Yokohama Branch and showed them an image of it.
• Erika Chiba questioned how the submarine’s attack could fit with the landing force’s objectives, and Chiba Yeyou said the two belonged to different factions.
