There sits a figure in red robes with snow-white hair and exquisitely painted features, like a mountain immortal who has stepped straight out of an ancient painting. He turns his gaze slightly, looking squarely into the lens. His eyes are cool and indifferent, yet hold a faint, beguiling allure that seems to encompass all the passions of the mortal world.

The livestream explodes.

Still later, someone discovers that whenever Qiguan Yuan faces Pei Yubai, his fingertips unconsciously wind around a red thread.

And at some unknown point, a faint red ring has appeared around Pei Yubai's ring finger.
