At that thought, Uchiha Takashi immediately had Fū Uchiha take Tsukina Fujiwara away and get her settled.
He returned to his office, picked up a pen, and wrote a letter.
Then he summoned Yukimichi Uchiha and placed the envelope in his hand. "Yukimichi, go to the City of Red and deliver this letter to the wealthy local merchant Kai Fujiwara (Tsukina Fujiwara's father)."
Yukimichi Uchiha glanced down at it, then turned and left without asking any questions.
Fū Uchiha came back in just then. "Third Elder, Miss Tsukina Fujiwara has been taken to rest. Also, this is a message from the First Elder."
As he spoke, Fū Uchiha handed Uchiha Takashi a letter.
Uchiha Takashi took the letter and read it carefully, spotting a very familiar name... Yuki Senju.
Uchiha Takashi could hardly have been more familiar with that name. Yuki Senju was the daughter of Tsuru Senju, whom he had captured with Aka and Homura when he was eight.
For the past two years, Yuki Senju had been locked in the Uchiha prison.
It was precisely because she had been captured that the Senju Clan had launched frenzied attacks on the Uchiha positions, leading to Rekka Uchiha's death.
Back then, Uchiha Takashi's low standing had kept him from knowing exactly what use Yuki Senju served. Only now, after becoming the Third Elder, did he learn how important she had been.
It was the intelligence she had provided that had allowed the Uchiha Clan to learn the total troop deployment and detailed fighting strength on the front lines.
In other words, the Uchiha had learned everything about the Senju and Uzumaki on the front lines at the time. Their intel had been maxed out.
That was also the fundamental reason the Uchiha had later managed to pull off such a splendid counterattack.
But two years had already passed. Yuki Senju, once so useful, had gradually become worthless as time went on.
Furthermore, after Uchiha Takashi killed Tsuru Senju and the Senju Clan appointed a different elder, Yuki Senju lost her status as an elder's daughter and no longer had any value at all.

Wasn't Uchiha Takashi short on manpower? Then they could send Yuki Senju over to do hard labor! That would also spare the clan from having to feed her.
The First Elder also said that she had already been sent on her way shortly after the letter's departure and would probably arrive on the day the letter was received, or within a few hours of it.
Uchiha Takashi flipped the letter over and slapped it onto the desk, only to discover a line of tiny writing on the back. A closer look left him rather speechless.
The gist of what the First Elder had written on the back was that Yuki Senju was entirely his to deal with however he pleased, including... ahem.
"That First Elder, still so improper at his age." Uchiha Takashi's mouth twitched. After that speechless complaint, he called toward the door.
"Fū Uchiha, go check the village entrance and see whether the person the First Elder sent has arrived. Once she gets here, bring her to me..."
At the village entrance, Homura Uchiha slowly approached with two clansmen behind him. Between them, Yuki Senju was being escorted forward in handcuffs and leg shackles.
"Move faster!" Homura Uchiha said coldly. "Don't even think about escaping. I'll be watching you every moment."
Yuki Senju merely raised her eyes slightly to glance at Homura Uchiha, gave a cold snort, and lowered her head again.
The sight of her attitude immediately infuriated Homura Uchiha. He already couldn't stand Yuki Senju.
As far as Homura Uchiha was concerned, if not for Yuki Senju, perhaps nothing would have happened to Rekka Uchiha!
And after Aka Uchiha died on the battlefield, Homura Uchiha's hatred for the Senju Clan and Uzumaki Clan had risen another notch.
Had the First Elder not instructed him that Yuki Senju was not to be killed on a whim, he probably would have killed her right at the start of the journey.
Homura Uchiha's anger burned hotter and hotter. The more he thought about it, the angrier he grew. Just as he was about to lose control and cut Yuki Senju down,
Fū Uchiha arrived and nodded to Homura Uchiha. "Homura, thanks for your hard work. Leave the rest to me."
Only then did Homura Uchiha release his grip on his sword hilt, his expression cold. He glared at Yuki Senju. "Consider yourself lucky..."
With that, Homura Uchiha turned and left. He had no desire to keep looking at Yuki Senju, who made his blood boil.
The two clansmen who had come with him also left, while Fū Uchiha led Yuki Senju toward the office.
Looking around the village, Yuki Senju raised her eyes and curled her lips in mockery. "Since when has the Uchiha Clan fallen so low? Living in a run-down village like this."
Fū Uchiha didn't even glance at her. He simply kept pulling Yuki Senju along. "If you're trying to make me angry, save your breath.
I'm not like the other clansmen. Trying to provoke me? You've miscalculated."
Yuki Senju pursed her lips and said nothing more. They soon reached the office door.
Fū Uchiha knocked softly. Only after receiving a response did he open the door. As Yuki Senju slowly walked inside, he kicked her from behind and sent her sprawling into the room.
Yuki Senju, who had been kicked to the floor, picked herself up in a sorry state, muttering as she rose, "Heh, going on and on about how you won't be provoked, but that was definitely abusing your position to settle a personal score!"
Then a familiar voice suddenly came from above Yuki Senju's head.
"You seem to be having quite a leisurely time..."
Yuki Senju abruptly raised her head and saw an all-too-familiar face.
Her lips moved, and she let out a sneer. "Heh, so it's you. Looks like the Uchiha Clan really is finished, letting a brat like you take such a high position."
Uchiha Takashi tilted his head. "But weren't you captured by a few brats yourself?"
Yuki Senju bristled immediately at that. "Says who? If your Uchiha Clan hadn't ganged up on me, how could I possibly have been captured?"
Uchiha Takashi chuckled twice. "Is that so? Let's say that's how it happened, then. But judging by how you look now, your leg injury seems to have healed."
At those words, Yuki Senju's lower legs began trembling involuntarily.
She still remembered how Uchiha Takashi had stabbed her thigh with a kunai back then. That memory was far too vivid.
Even after all these years in prison, she couldn't forget it. It had already become a shadow over her heart.
Uchiha Takashi said in an eerie tone, "I've been researching a new method lately. I discovered a genjutsu that can amplify a person's pain.
I just don't know how much it can amplify it yet. No one has tried it. Would you like to find out?"
Yuki Senju trembled even harder at those words. In her eyes, Uchiha Takashi no longer looked like that little brat.
How was this a ten-year-old boy? This was clearly a demon from hell, a devil!
She wailed inwardly, What on earth is inside this devil's head? Why can he come up with so many ways to torment people?
Watching Yuki Senju tremble, Uchiha Takashi nodded in satisfaction.
The reason he had summoned Yuki Senju was to give her a proper warning. Although her chakra had been sealed,
there was no guarantee she wouldn't cause him trouble while working. A little intimidation and a warning would make her behave.
Uchiha Takashi had no desire to hear Fū Uchiha report whatever misdeeds Yuki Senju had committed.
What he wanted was someone who could serve as labor, not someone who would slow down development here!
