Uchiha Takashi’s forces crushed the Sarutobi threat and began a campaign against corrupt local powers while he fought the Senju and encountered Kurama. The arc left Kurama welcomed as the Land of Light’s divine beast as Uchiha Takashi considered the risks of Izanagi and planned to shape public belief.

• Yukimichi Uchiha used the county magistrate to lure the Sarutobi force into the city, where Uchiha forces destroyed it and eliminated the Shimura remnants.
• Uchiha Takashi exposed cheating and a suspected exam fraud, then sent Fū Uchiha to lead a campaign against criminal forces and corrupt officials across the Land of Light.
• Uchiha Takashi repelled Shura Senju’s larger force after a clash between their giant forms, while Yukimichi Uchiha reported his victory on the southwestern border.
• Uchiha Takashi discovered that Uchiha Shin and Homura Uchiha had come to the front, and he allowed them to stay under restrictions.
• Uchiha Shin captured Kurama and brought him to Uchiha Takashi, who invited him to live freely in the Land of Light as its guardian divine beast.
• The Senju Clan withdrew behind a pass, while Tatsu Uchiha learned of Izanagi and kept the technique secret from most of the clan.
• Kurama reached the capital, where the Uchiha presented him as a divine beast, and Tatsu Uchiha gathered the clan to discuss promoting his worship and a mythology about Indra.

Little Team 7 arrived in the Land of Light, where Uchiha Takashi helped them understand their situation and Sasuke awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan. As the team prepared to return through the Dragon Vein, Takashi launched a campaign against the Sarutobi Clan, whose forces and court collapsed under the Uchiha advance.

• The Nine-Tails visited the Uchiha Research Institute and learned that its researchers had developed the powerful Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags Technique.
• Kakashi Hatake and Team 7 fell through a space-time rift into the Land of Light, where Uchiha Takashi recognized them and offered to help them return through the Dragon Vein.
• Uchiha Takashi told Sasuke Uchiha the truth about the Shinobi World's history, then secretly used a genjutsu to try to awaken Sasuke's Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Sasuke Uchiha saw through Takashi's illusion and revealed his Mangekyō ability, Ichimokuren, while Takashi arranged a route to Rōran for Team 7.
• Uchiha Takashi sent Yukimichi Uchiha and 500 elites into the Land of Gold, where they broke through Sarutobi defenses and found towns emptied by the clan's oppressive war tax.
• Yukimichi Uchiha let the Sarutobi Clan assemble an encirclement, then attacked its divided forces and routed the remaining army in a decisive battle.
• After the Sarutobi leader learned the army had been destroyed, a civil official urged surrender, and the leader ordered the clan to submit before walking away alone.
