The daimyo slammed the letter in his hand onto the ground!

The Root ninja below suddenly looked up and spoke to the daimyo.
He was a confidant of Shimura Danzō, and his main purpose in delivering the message was to get Nawaki to come to the Kirigakure battlefield.

"Write me a letter ordering Hiruzen Sarutobi to send Nawaki to the Kirigakure battlefield. If he refuses, Konoha will have no military funds from now on!"
The daimyo spoke to the person beside him.
"Yes, Lord Daimyo!"
Those around him bowed their heads and stepped back.
The Root ninjas also lowered their heads.
The letter was quickly written on the daimyo's special stationery and stamped with the daimyo's various special seals. It was then handed over to the Root ninja.
