Arc 7The Fall of Kumogakure
Gen'yō crushed Kumogakure’s invasion with the Divine Kingdom’s power, captured its leaders, and forced the village to submit. The arc left the Land of Lightning being absorbed into the Divine Kingdom as other nations faced Gen'yō’s demands.
- Raikage A led thirty thousand Kumogakure ninja against the Divine Kingdom, whose wall vaporized the first three thousand attackers when they struck it with lightning.
- Gen'yō organized the defense and broadcast the battle as Fugaku led five thousand Uchiha warriors through an opening in the wall to meet Kumogakure’s charge.
- Fugaku’s Uchiha forces destroyed thousands of Kumogakure ninja with combined fire techniques, then Fugaku fought Raikage A with Perfect Susanoo before Gen'yō ordered the Uchiha to withdraw.
- Itachi’s War Puppet Legion annihilated most of the remaining army, while Gen'yō defeated Raikage A and Killer B, extracted the Eight-Tails’ chakra, and announced Kumogakure’s surrender deadline.
- Gen'yō ordered the Divine Kingdom’s forces to invade the Land of Lightning as Obito and Shisui eliminated fleeing ninja and Fugaku’s Fire God Legion broke through the defenses.
- Gen'yō used twelve orbital weapons to destroy Kumogakure forces, and Itachi’s war puppets erased the village’s final mountain defenses before Dodai and the elders surrendered.
- Gen'yō demanded Kumogakure’s secret scrolls and the Daimyo’s Imperial Seal, then presented a Divine Contract dissolving the village and incorporating the Land of Lightning into his kingdom.
- When a young elder protested the contract, Gen'yō crushed him and absorbed his body and soul into it, then challenged the remaining leaders to object.
