After the Sun Moon students grew stronger, he sought to bring them into Shrek’s Inner Court and left the decision to a wager with Mu En.

• Gu Yuena revealed herself as the Silver Dragon King to the Scarlet King, then joined Kong Xuan in bringing the Snow Empress back from the brink of death and completing her human transformation.
• Kong Xuan returned to Shrek, stopped Ma Xiaotao during an Evil Fire rampage, and told Yan Shaozhe that Feng Ling had become the Holy Spirit Cult leader’s wife and deputy leader.
• Kong Xuan led Gu Yuena, the Snow Empress, Kong Ling, and Meng Hongchen to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, where he obtained rare immortal herbs and persuaded three ancient plant Soul Beasts to offer their treasures.
• Kong Xuan and Gu Yuena visited the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ burial ground, where Gu Yuena gave him their claw bones and he fused with both dragon bones.
• Kong Ling and Meng Hongchen gained Ultimate Fire and Ultimate Ice, while Kong Xuan distributed immortal herbs to the Sun Moon exchange students and guarded their cultivation.
• The students’ Soul Power surged, and Kong Xuan proposed that they obtain Soul Spirits from Star Dou’s Core Circle, but Ma Sheng demanded safeguards and agreed to bring Kong Deming along.
• Yan Shaozhe rejected the exchange students’ request to enter Shrek’s Inner Court, so Kong Xuan asked Mu En to intervene and proposed a wager after Mu En warned of the political consequences.

Kong Xuan defeated Shrek’s Inner Court champions, secured access for the Sun Moon exchange students, and helped establish Soul Spirit fusion with the Star Dou Great Forest. As the exchange program neared its end, Huo Yuhao prepared to confront Dai Huabin over his mother’s death.

• Kong Xuan wagered that the Sun Moon exchange students could study in Shrek’s Inner Court if he defeated its students, and Mu En accepted the challenge while limiting their access to Shrek’s core secrets.
• Kong Xuan defeated Qiu Xu, Wu Ming, and Han Ruoruo, then overcame Zhang Lexuan with Godslaying · Space Rend to win entry for the exchange students.
• After the victory, Kong Xuan and Yun Ming found no sign of Tang San’s will in the Golden Ancient Tree, and Yun Ming said he believed Kong Xuan and would no longer intervene in Shrek’s affairs.
• Kong Xuan brought the exchange students to the Lake of Life, where Kong Ling, Xu Wei, and Ji Juechen successfully fused with Soul Spirits, and Di Tian agreed that Star Dou would join the Spirit Pagoda.
• Yan Shaozhe investigated the Holy Spirit Cult through Nangong Wan, learned Feng Ling was married to its leader, and met her after Nangong Wan summoned her, and Feng Ling warned him the cult planned to cooperate with Xu Tianran.
• Feng Ling urged Yan Shaozhe to return to Shrek, and nine months later Wang Dong confessed her feelings to Huo Yuhao beside Sea God Lake.
• Huo Yuhao rejected Wang Dong and told Kong Xuan he wanted to challenge Dai Huabin before the semester ended over Dai Huabin’s role in his mother’s suffering and death, and Kong Xuan supported him.

After Huo Yuhao confronted Dai Huabin and revealed his past, Kong Xuan survived an assassination plot that led Kong Deming to destroy the Holy Spirit Cult’s headquarters. The arc ended with Kong Deming confronting the Dou Ling Empire and demanding compensation for the captured worshippers in exchange for peace.

• Huo Yuhao defeated Dai Huabin, beat him after the fight, and revealed that they were brothers before leaving with Kong Xuan.
• A white-haired Super Douluo ambushed Kong Xuan, but Kong Deming rescued him and captured the attacker and his three companions.
• Kong Deming and Kong Xuan learned that Nangong Wan of the Holy Spirit Cult had arranged the assassination with officials from the Dou Ling and Heavenly Soul Empires.
• Kong Deming destroyed the Holy Spirit Cult’s headquarters with twelve Level 9 Fixed Soul Guidance Shells, prompting Ye Xishui to confront him.
• Ye Xishui and Long Xiaoyao fought Kong Deming and Du Busi, then withdrew when the two-on-two battle gave them no advantage.
• Ye Xishui learned that Feng Ling had arranged the failed assassination at Yan Shaozhe’s urging, removed Feng Ling as vice cult leader, and ordered her to recruit youths with Evil Martial Souls.
• Kong Deming confronted Emperor Xue Xin in the Dou Ling palace and demanded a ransom for the captured Shi Bing and Song Qinghan in return for peace.

Kong Deming and Kong Xuan secured support and territory for the Spirit Pagoda and a proposed federation, then forced Shrek to answer for Yan Shaozhe's alleged collusion with the Holy Spirit Cult. Kong Xuan recruited companions before exploring the Ice God's inheritance, leaving Meng Hongchen and Snow Empress to undertake trials as Xu Tianran arrived at the Worship Hall.

• Kong Deming demanded a city from the Dou Ling Empire as compensation for the attack on Kong Xuan and explained that he intended to establish a Spirit Pagoda there.
• Kong Xuan gave Ning Yuanshan the Aromatic Silk Beauty and secured the Nine Treasures Glazed Tile Sect's support for the federation, while Kong Deming obtained century-long leases for Heavenly Spring and Clear Stream.
• Kong Deming and Du Busi confronted Shrek with a recording implicating Yan Shaozhe in the assassination plot, and Mu En ordered Yan Shaozhe's capture and agreed to build a city for the Worship Hall.
• Kong Xuan demonstrated Battle Armor and Soul Spirits to Qiangu Fengxing, who allowed Qiangu Fuliu to leave seclusion and investigate the outside world.
