Background

Jiang Ziliu recovered memories of his previous life shortly after birth on Blue Water Star. He spent his childhood preparing for beast taming, deliberately remaining among the stronger students without taking first place because he considered attention dangerous 1.

His parents were former active beast tamers whose severely injured beasts had fallen into prolonged slumber. They supported the family through the Jiang Armaments Workshop in Base No. 12. His older brother entered a beast-taming academy and later became financially self-sufficient 1 3 4.

Unable to afford the Soul Crystals needed for an early awakening, Jiang Ziliu waited until the normal awakening age of sixteen. He had already possessed Probability Judgment since birth, but rarely used it before obtaining Dark Energy because its alternative costs could damage his health 1 2.

His older brother is later identified as Jiang Zikong. The resources Jiang Ziliu sends home eventually restore his parents’ contracted beasts and help Jiang Zikong rise from Nine-Star Bronze to Nine-Star Silver. Concerned about racial invasions, Jiang Ziliu returns to Base No. 12 and persuades his parents to move into the small world within his demigod artifact 83 131.

Although he adapts outwardly to his new life, a deep spiritual separation from the universe persists for many years. The Ancient Tree of Wisdom identifies the birth of his son as a turning point: attachment to his child and the child’s mother finally gives him a profound emotional connection to this world 192.

Personality

Jiang Ziliu prioritizes survival, privacy, and steady growth over prestige. He conceals his rank, avoids unnecessary disputes, prepares escape routes, and separates dangerous activities from his family’s identity. His caution does not prevent decisive violence: when threatened, he targets enemy tamers directly and removes evidence afterward 19 41 44 45 46.

His solitary behavior comes from disinterest in socializing rather than shyness. He responds amiably when approached and treats Li Wanqiu tactfully when encountering her family’s difficulties. Tang Yunu recognizes both his rationality and a deeply concealed confidence that his future will surpass that of ordinary people 2 5 23.

He values knowledge and practical preparation, but also recognizes the need to rest after strenuous advancement. Although willing to deceive his parents about dangerous journeys, he is deeply affected by their anxiety and devotes substantial resources to restoring their beasts 11 23 39 41.

His “Dao of lying low” does not mean avoiding all hardship or becoming incapable of fighting. He deliberately battles dangerous beasts himself to improve pain tolerance, reactions, willpower, and the ability to turn raw strength into practical combat power. Resource caches, safe houses, escape methods, and concealment of information become central elements of his survival strategy 58 59 63.

He distrusts aristocratic lineages because of their willingness to seize commoners’ opportunities and suppress potential rivals. The Jiang Clan’s persecution of his brother and the experiences of other commoner geniuses reinforce this view. Nevertheless, he does not regard all aristocratic descendants as incompetent: while educating Lü Xiaoli, he emphasizes their intelligence, competition, and capacity for schemes 131 141 155 175.

Remaining hidden is a practical response to his circumstances rather than his deepest aspiration. He admits that, under fairer conditions, he would have preferred attending university and competing openly with other geniuses. His later establishment of an academy for talented commoners gives institutional form to his desire to improve their opportunities 155 173.

He initially regards romantic entanglements as potential obstacles to survival and cultivation, declining to pursue even exceptional beauties when their circumstances promise trouble. After learning that he has a son, however, he becomes determined to gain enough power to protect the child and reunite the family. At Origin Rank, he insists that his son should grow freely and healthily rather than become an instrument of the Asura Race 112 173 192 193 247.

An innate ability that determines the probability of a specified outcome. His unique personal panel is a byproduct of this ability, not a separate system 2.

After doing so at Gray Rock, Black Iron, and Bronze, his soul quality remains approximately a major realm ahead of his life tier. He ultimately opens all nine in every realm before Demigod, strengthening the body, soul, and energy foundations of his later advancement 62 69 178.

At Demigod Rank, these foundations and the support of three Kings of Origin allow him to produce 1,000 drops of half divine power monthly, a thousand times the ordinary accumulation rate described at that stage. His Divine Kingdom’s size and strength are over a hundred times those of ordinary demigods, and his initial strength already rivals ordinary late-stage demigods 178.

Divine Kingdom, Rules, and Godhood

• Divine Kingdom: Uses the three Kings of Origin as Heavenly Pillars stabilizing his kingdom. Its projection can suppress opponents in a quasi-world domain; physical manifestation can ram an enemy, although damage to the kingdom makes this a dangerous last resort 178.

• Lü Xiaoli / Lü Li — A young companion whom his family treats well. Jiang Ziliu guides her through commoner, aristocratic, and ordinary beast-tamer life to teach her about human nature, self-reliance, restraint, and hidden danger 175.
• Rachel, the Asura Holy Maiden — Mother of his son. Initially overwhelms his concealment and chooses him as the father of a child with exceptional foundations. Their encounter becomes a major emotional turning point for him. After reaching Origin Rank, he reunites with her and declares that she and their child will remain by his side 191 192 246 247.
• Son — An unnamed boy of human and Asura descent, physically resembling a human and possessing exceptional talent and a trace of Origin presence. His existence motivates Jiang Ziliu to pursue greater strength. Jiang Ziliu eventually meets him, protects him with origin divine power, and rejects the prospect of the Asura Race shaping him solely for its own purposes 192 223 246 247.
• Xue Qiuye — Rachel’s younger sister, first encountered at the academy under the name Brad. Jiang Ziliu identifies her Asura origin, later subdues her attempted attack, and learns that Rachel and their child are safe. She provides the Asura Race’s coordinates and recommends reaching at least Star System Rank before visiting 213 214 223.
• Ma Family — Hostile lineage whose two Demigod Seventh Stage experts attack the Void Commoner Academy. Jiang Ziliu arrives through a spacetime passage and immobilizes the attackers before they can breach its defenses 224.

Story Role / Major Arcs

First Contracts and Dungeon Exploration

After awakening, Jiang Ziliu chooses concealment over conventional growth potential when selecting his first beast. He finances its hatching through a school loan, then uses his parents’ savings to support soul enhancement and acquire an offensive second contract 2 3 4 5.

His initial dungeon combat exposes his inexperience. He adjusts by equipping his beasts, developing ambush tactics, and gathering materials. Clearing a goblin lair yields Soul-Cleansing Mushrooms and the unidentified metal disc that later transforms his studies 7 8 10 13.

Special Class and Hidden Soul Stars

At No. 9 Middle School, he prioritizes restricted knowledge over visible training results. A library discovery leads him to the Hidden Soul Stars; fearing retaliation from those protecting that knowledge, he hides the relevant book away from his family’s home 13 14.

His search for Soul Crystals takes him into the wilderness, where he witnesses a caravan massacre and survives an encounter with a healing wolf. These experiences reinforce his distrust of other tamers and preference for avoiding unrelated conflicts 19 21 22.

During Li Qingcheng’s bat exercise, he identifies the foul mud pond as the only refuge and enters first. Four classmates follow, and his judgment earns the teacher’s lasting attention 25 38.

Leaving School

Following further wilderness exploration and a bandit ambush, Jiang Ziliu decides that student life no longer serves his plans. He withdraws from the special class and obtains a leave of absence from school, accepting practical support from classmates and Li Qingcheng 36 38 39.

Before departing, he reveals his Black Iron strength to reassure his parents and restores one of his father’s beasts, giving the household some renewed ability to defend itself 39 40.

Beastman Hunting and Blood Eye Conflict

Pretending to leave the region, he instead assumes the identity Zhang Feng and hunts werewolves near Base No. 12 for military merits. The disguise is intended to keep retaliation from reaching his parents 41.

His success attracts the Blood Eye Adventure Group. He dismantles its encirclement through concealed attacks, attacks on contracted beasts, and battlefield sensing, killing the entire pursuing force. After discarding dangerous items, he values the safe spoils at approximately 600–900 million yuan and permanently abandons the Zhang Feng identity 44 45 46.

Base No. 10 and the Elven Pursuer

Jiang Ziliu relocates toward Base No. 10 under another identity. In the elves’ trading Dungeon Space, he purchases Moonwell Water to complete the shapeshifting spirit’s evolution medicine, filling his team’s missing healer role 47 48 49.

After leaving to hunt bearmen, he discovers an exceptionally well-concealed follower. Probability Judgment identifies the pursuer as an elf. He captures her through a coordinated ambush and takes her away for questioning, initially uncertain why the elves have singled him out 50.

His examination reveals a combat-trained elf whose inconspicuous headband is spatial storage equipment. In the subsequent elven-treasure developments, Water of Life greatly strengthens him and his beasts, bringing his life tier to Bronze while he suppresses his displayed cultivation at Nine-Star Black Iron 51 52.

He abandons the compromised Li Tao identity, acquires supplementary ingredients, and opens his Black Iron Hidden Soul Stars. The resulting feedback carries him to Six-Star Bronze. After confirming that multiple factions are searching for his old identities, he leaves the Base No. 10 region under another disguise 53 54.

An encounter with two runaway children draws him into an assassination-related incident. Later discovering a bounty on the identity he used, he records the Jiang Lineage as a hostile power. His inability to avoid suspicion despite helping the children reinforces his distrust of powerful families 59 60 61.

After a period of quiet development and further Hidden Soul Star awakening, he enters Silver Rank. In Scallion Ridge, he acquires an A-grade Soul Crystal and kills a One-Eyed Ba Snake that tracks his soul traces. A later confrontation with trolls forces him to use his hidden Silver physique and electromagnetically reinforced heavy weapons 62 63 66.

Martial King Base and the Forging Path

Jiang Ziliu settles near Martial King Base as Xiong Chengqi, a muscular weaponsmith. He chooses the region for its comparatively fair administration and access to secrets unavailable elsewhere, including knowledge concerning beast-taming space growth 68.

He integrates advanced forging knowledge with human methods, secretly becoming capable of producing S-grade equipment. Qian Duoduo befriends the identity and provides information and protection against local interference. Watching Snow Fairy’s Ice and Snow Domain in the Grand Martial Arena inspires Jiang Ziliu to seek a fourth beast with an S-grade or higher domain-type skill 69 70 71.

By Six-Star Silver, he has gained Beast-Taming Fusion and a second feedback skill from each original beast. His eventual fourth contract is instead the extraordinary Forging Throne, a King of Origin whose feedback must remain sealed at his current level 75 96 102 112.

Returning Home and Advancing to Gold

After years away, Jiang Ziliu returns to Base No. 12, encountering former classmates while displaying only Six-Star Black Iron strength. He reunites with his parents, shows them his actual Silver presence and the small world in his demigod artifact, and persuades them to live there for safety 83.

His warning later helps Tang Yunu and Li Wanqiu withdraw from a dangerous regional situation. Elsewhere, he acquires an Evil God Soul Crystal through A Kun and learns from Ailande how to store it safely under the Forging Throne’s protection 84 85 94.

He advances to Gold Rank and submits to the Forging Throne’s demanding illusion training. The regimen sharpens his combat judgment and survival skills, while his beasts’ development eventually brings him to Five-Star Gold with low-level Diamond combat strength 96 97 98 102.

Great Broken Ridge and Lady White’s Dragon Transformation

Lightning Spear Supreme intervenes when the Undead Race retaliates near Chang’an Base, allowing Jiang Ziliu to escape without risking the collection of enemy spatial items. He sends resources and a letter to his brother before heading east toward the inland sea where Lady White’s transformation opportunity awaits 110.

After obtaining Tree of Life leaves through saving Nangong Qingliu’s cousin, he continues through the Great Broken Ridge. He verifies a Half-Dragon void merchant through a Star Oath Stele and Probability Judgment rather than trusting appearances 112 115 116 118.

Protecting Lady White’s dragon-source blessing requires extensive ambushes against Gold beasts and a confrontation with a Thread-Tailed Shadow Clan tamer. His precise flying-knife attacks and A Kun’s underground support discourage further interference, giving Lady White time to become a Lightning Dragon 125 126.

He subsequently opens further Hidden Soul Stars and rises to Seven-Star Diamond. With spatial travel now readily available, he returns to seek his older brother at Green Forest Academy 130.

Avenging Jiang Zikong and Exposing the Jiang Clan

At Green Forest Academy, Jiang Ziliu discovers that Jiang Zikong has been betrayed, persecuted, and left missing after losing a hand and a leg. The Jiang Clan behind the attack is the same lineage previously connected to the bounty on his alternate identity 131.

After dealing with the academy’s responsible upper ranks, Jiang Ziliu investigates the clan’s visible and hidden branches. To enter its SS-grade Dungeon Space silently, he pursues a dream-passage method involving a captured demon and acquires Bone-Dwelling Foul-Smelling Devil Fungus to subdue one 133 134.

He reports the clan’s smuggling to Martial King Base, steals its open and hidden resources, and uses the Azure Dragon Martial Guard as an outside force against it. His haul includes over seventy percent of the resources and wealth at its headquarters. He conceals his brother’s disappearance from their parents while continuing to await his return from a mysterious opportunity 139 140 141.

Interstellar Preparations and Opposition to Aristocratic Power

Jiang Ziliu obtains an Origin Divine Ship associated with the Forging Throne. Rather than immediately leaving Blue Water Star, he raids the Jiaolong Human Race’s reserves for more than ten million S-grade Elemental Crystals. Disguises then provoke a clash with an elven branch, enabling him to steal another 800,000 S-grade crystals and secure fuel for three medium-distance interstellar voyages 147 151.

He also encounters a reincarnated girl whose talent origin was stolen by the Gao Clan. Sharing information on the clan and its allies, he supports her retaliation as a means of weakening predatory aristocratic power. The resulting destruction of the Gao Clan triggers internal struggles among the lineages and creates room for commoner forces to grow 153 154 155 156.

Titan and Dragon Bloodline Completion

To transform A Kun, Jiang Ziliu infiltrates the Titans’ clan grounds using Soul Resonance. A concealed Nine-Star Diamond elder catches him by surprise and nearly kills him, exposing a serious lapse in his caution. He survives through Light of Jade and Earth Space Evasion, then knocks the elder unconscious after identifying his soul frequency 159.

A Kun’s transformation into an Azurite Titan grants a complete Titan bloodline and raises Jiang Ziliu’s concealment and spatial evasion to Demigod Rank. Jiang Ziliu then turns to Lady White’s remaining bloodline requirements 161.

Using Drunken Dragon Grass to incapacitate the Dragon Gate’s defenders, he brings Lady White through her transformation. He refuses the request of a mysterious little black dragon to follow him, regarding its unexplained strength and connections as potential trouble. Lady White completes her Lightning Dragon bloodline, gains Demigod skills, and reaches One-Star Diamond 165.

After more than a century of wandering, Jiang Ziliu reaches Three-Star Supreme while his original three beasts reach Nine-Star Diamond. The recovering Forging Throne subsequently offers to guide him toward a fifth contracted existence even more powerful than itself 166 167.

Family Reunion and the Void Commoner Academy

Jiang Ziliu eventually senses Jiang Zikong emerging from his land of opportunity and immediately reunites with him. He explains that their parents are safe and that the Jiang Lineage has been destroyed through borrowed forces rather than a direct assault. Bringing his brother into the small world reunites the family 173.

He establishes the Void Commoner Beast Taming Academy to give his family meaningful work and provide talented commoners with an opportunity to rise. With the Ancient Tortoise of Temporal Light’s help, he forges a mobile academy artifact; Jiang Zikong becomes headmaster, and their parents teach small groups of students while Jiang Ziliu returns to secluded cultivation 173.

He also guides Lü Xiaoli through contrasting social environments, including poverty, aristocratic family competition, and the vulnerable lives of ordinary beast tamers. These experiences are intended to teach judgment, restraint, self-reliance, and the complexity of human behavior 175.

Demigod Advancement and Interstellar Battles

Jiang Ziliu’s entry into Demigod reveals the cumulative benefits of awakening all nine Hidden Soul Stars at every previous tier. Supported by three Kings of Origin as Divine Kingdom Heavenly Pillars, he obtains extraordinary half divine power production and an unusually strong kingdom 178.

While investigating the Suo Weilan Ya Half-Elf Lineage and clues related to forging fragments, he increasingly relies on ordinary intelligence gathering supplemented by selective Probability Judgments. During interstellar travel, he defeats seven demigod pirate leaders and their twenty-three beasts in a single second using upgraded artifacts and rehearsed tactics 185 187.

An encounter with the Asura Holy Maiden results in a son. Learning of the child’s existence profoundly changes his emotional relationship with the universe and gives his pursuit of strength a new personal purpose 191 192 193.

Evil Gods and the Peak of Demigod

Following the Suo Weilan Ya Lineage’s trail, Jiang Ziliu encounters the planet-sized dead eye of an Evil God. The Ancient Tree of Wisdom protects him from its contamination and helps him turn the encounter into an opportunity for wind-rule comprehension 193.

He later breaks a dangerous sealing ring by applying Light of Jade against its deathly energy structure and following with lightning. In another confrontation, the Ancient Tortoise of Time destroys a weakened monkey-shaped Evil God and its hidden remnant, producing Karmic Luck and a seven-colored Soul Crystal 197 205.

Purified divine crystals and further rule comprehension carry Jiang Ziliu to Demigod Ninth Stage, while his original three beasts advance to the Sixth Stage 206.

Milky Way Academy and Godhood

At the Milky Way Beast Taming Academy, Jiang Ziliu encounters a mysterious girl known as Brad, whose interest in him appears personal rather than openly hostile. He later identifies her as the Asura Xue Qiuye and learns that powerful newcomers are seeking a Godhood opportunity on the front lines 213 214.

Rather than compete for that unrelated opportunity, he continues his own preparations. Observing others advance eventually provides the intuitive opening he needs to become a Planetary-Rank God, after which he reaches Star System Rank Ninth Stage 219 221 223.

Xue Qiuye intercepts him, but he subdues her without alerting her stellar-rank protector. Learning that she is Rachel’s younger sister and that Rachel and his son are safe, he receives their coordinates. Although she recommends Star System or Galaxy Rank before visiting, he sets Origin Rank as his own minimum requirement 223.

Protecting the Academy and Advancing the Beasts

When two Demigod Seventh Stage members of the Ma Family attack the Void Commoner Academy, Jiang Ziliu’s family fears that calling him back would only expose him to danger. He nevertheless arrives through a spacetime passage and immobilizes the attackers before they can break the academy’s defenses 224.

He later gathers resources for rule comprehension and prepares his original three beasts for the dangers of advancement. With targeted training and origin essence from the three Kings of Origin, A Kun, Lady White, and Thousand Faces all become Gods 227.

In the Ancient Battlefield, he adopts the name Wang Tao and presents himself as an inexperienced but wealthy lineage descendant while interacting with the suspected Child of Karmic Luck calling himself Li Qiu. Divine Artifacts from his own forging practice reinforce the disguise 229.

Andromeda Treasury and the Return to Rachel

Investigating a succubus-linked resource network in the Andromeda Galaxy, Jiang Ziliu avoids the queen’s concealed Divine Art warning system and discovers that the apparent planetary treasuries are decoys. The true treasury lies within the central star and contains at least a quarter of the galaxy’s resources. He postpones taking it until after securing the Ancient Tree of Wisdom’s fragment 239.

After becoming a King of Origin, Jiang Ziliu finally visits the Asura Race’s domain. He recognizes his son, places protective origin divine power upon him, and brings Rachel to meet them. His ability to transport and restrain her without resistance reveals how far beyond her expectations he has grown 246.

Reunited with Rachel, he declares that she and their son will remain with him and that he can protect and raise the child without allowing the Asura Race to control his development. His Origin advancement also benefits his parents and brother through their bloodline connections, making the family’s future longevity possible 247.
